Backed too many faves today for my liking. I don't think it's the greatest of fields from a value perspective.

1.30 - Sucette 3/1 1pt

2.05 - A difficult one and a risky choice in Twilight Calls. Probably regressed, but off this mark is too tempting for me.

3.25 - Wow. Dividend, Laneqash, Sean, Green Triangle, War Socks and Claymore all horses made some money on at Meydan are head to head here. To top it off Masai Moon is here. Can make a case for them all, but at the prices and with a draw that potentially allows for a make all mash up have to go with the value Claymore. Definitely wants further but with the extra stamina Tuddy can just go for it. Even Al Ali at 40s can't be written off. It's likely the pace Claymore creates better chances for Dividend and Green Traingle but at their prices of 7/2 and 4/1 playing the 14/1.

4.35 - Blue Nazare is probably going to be decent. Has to improve a stone to beat some of these and whilst might not backing at close to evens.

2.05 - If cheekpieces make the difference, and is a big if given current form, this one is the best on numbers.

2.40 - Not convinced War Hawk wants ground this fast. Daamiss maybe unlucky not to win lto, but not convinced of that race formline now, which rules out Silver Sword too. If Native Spirit runs I may back it as looks well handicapped on paper. City of Delight is back on turf on quick ground over 10f which is defo best conditions. Didnt take to dirt and actually ran okay lto. The winner was a group horse in a handicap who'll be in pattern racing nto.

3.15 - Tricky one. Nothing stood out. Backed Laasudood last two races for decent ew returns but too short today. Ever chance Gun Carriage can make all to win, but can not get a handle on Cunha runners. Taking a risk on this pick today: Army Ethos nearly won the Covcntry in '23. Had a couple low key runs this season and improved lto. I think 8f on dirt is going to be very interesting as long as not held up too far back.

3.50 - I wouldnt be surprised to see an Appelby 123 in this. Hassallan seems big at 25s. However, English Oak is a pain in the arse having beaten my selection lto and not won the last maybe 5 times in UK I backed him. On his day super talented and looked in great form lto. Fingal Raven next best for me, but shorter distance and harder draw make it trickier today.

5.00 - Not as an exciting 6f line up as have seen in previous weeks and popping for couple long shots. Odai squeezed out lto but ran on strongly into 4th and Condor Pasa who can deffo win off this mark over C&D, but has a poor jock. That said all he has to do is break and run. Can make all. Nothing fancy needed.

 2.05 - Can make  good case for many of these including Carron, Breakdancer, Jolly Roger and San Sebastian. Problem I have is not sure where the pace will come from. Maybe Music of Time drawn in 11?

Carron has been really well backed and now bit too short for me. Breakdancer will stay and go really close, but San Sebastian and Jolly Roger have both been unlucky in running and so at bigger prices give them a pop. Both ran last week, so the risk is this.

3.15 - Only paying 3 places in a 15 runner race doesn't inspire finding a good ew. Top of market is broadly right and not seeing much value. If and only if Do Or Do Not bounces back to form would have a good chance as numbers are very good

5.00 - Sahlaat can turn tables with Cats. Ran very wide and finished strongly enough. If bounces then will be on the tracker for next time

5.35 - Rappers Delight cost me a £14k win so trying hard not to back it for emotional purposes. Was not as good as I had hoped last time out. Draw wasn't great and could have need the run. Either way at a bigger price no surprise I'm going with Hassim. Decent horse and handicapped to win. Hopefully 4th time lucky today.
