Ascot 1.10 - Never Enough 6/4 should be enough

Ascot 2.20 - Disappointing if Touleen 4/5 can't win this given what has shown

Ascot 2.55 - Mentioned had few on the radar for today. Touleen was the first and the other was Amazing Journey. In my great wisdom, when was 50/1, decided I'd wait for the draw. On Thursday was 12/1 and panicked and backed it. It's now 8/1, but I'm not convinced it's got the best draw.

However, it's not a max field so Saffie will have more than enough time to line this highly progressive 3year old up to win on on part of track needs to. Blitzed the field last time out with very strong turn of foot, race time and is technically 5lb ahead of mark on paper, but visually a lot more.

Shame the price has gone, but I'd not back anything else ahead of it and hopefully 50s into 8s is a positive sign the stable fancy it.

York 3.45 - Danger Bay 7/1ew meets the trends I need, but tough race.

York 4.20 - Terrorise 12/1ew back to a mark can win off. Money for it suggesting is back in good form. Will need to be.

York 5.30 - Juan Les Pins 12/1ew is best on numbers but bit of a joker, so Sixtygeesbaby 20/1ew worth playing at the prices.

 Calico Blue in second to Jazl was quite frustrating. I don't think was a draw bias. The better horse won. Oxagon did everything was supposed to until started wandering around and the final pair no good, but not to give up on. The joker sweated up badly and the fave was super restless at the start but means start the July Cup -6.5.

1.50 - Del Maro is the best horse on form here, but 5 runner race and Hannon is 3/4 winners in this race, so you can't wrtie off Alderman, who they've not given up on. No bet.

2.25 - Adday Scarlett is clear on proven numbers, but 3 runner race with another Appelby hotpot. No bet

3.00 - Knocked this down to a longlist of 5, which is unhelpful. Thunder Call is the likely winner, and not totally convinced Red Spells Danger can reverse the form, but it's possible. However I have to believe, as I always do, until proven otherwise the RA handicaps are the strongest formlines. Calico Blue finished the best of those draw wrong side in the Holyroodhouse, runs prominetly and winner over 6f already.

One and Gone a game winner. Underdog very unlucky from my perspective and one for nto. Glacius ran well into 3rd, but not good enough to win that race.

1.50 - Sandown - Asfoora is best on numbers but had a good draw lto and wasn't convincing? Rumstar 3/1 looked like he was going to take off in this race last year and if in similar form be hard to beat. Words of Truth will make it a good race.

2.25 Sandown - Hard Endeavor 14/1ew is better value than Beagle Bay. I backed River King at 12/1 as ran well from draw at RA, but pricewise has killed the price and value is gone at 6s. 

3.00 Sandown - Secret of Life 5/1ew. Entered in the Falmouth and other group races. Big horse. No way Beckett runs in this if doesn't think a decent chance stepping up from a c4.

3.35 Sandown - A Boy Named Suzy 9/1ew is the value bet. 400m out lto was so far behind Constitution River, stuck behind many horses. Finished much closer. Reckon will drift given the focus on the other big names. The risk might be the fast ground.

4.47 Sandown - Sassicaia 13/2ew too keen lto, but hugely unexposed.

1.50 Sandown - Don't want to be getting caught up in a 5 runner race, but Comical Point sets the standard. Probably the best play for a win, but you know me, I'd rather let One and Gone 15/2ew try to make all Contact Point to nab it late. The rfc 14/1 and 20/1 on b365

2.25 Sandown - Underdog 9/1ew. C&D run was good. Assuming Ascot came too soon and all the pace was drawn low in that race so can draw a line through.

3.35 Sandown - Sallaal should win, but willing to give an improving 3year old with 10lb allowance a chance. Glacius 10/1ew.

Not the best of days for me for betting purposes with only two long distance handicaps which are not a fun as 1m and below handicaps.

2.30 - Queen Anne - Notable Speech is best on numbers, but given poor runs at Ascot, at the price am okay to look elsewhere. That said I can pick holes in most of them and I chucked some coins on Ciceros Gift 50's who is a G1 C&D winner and First Conquest 50s who is arguably a better form over 1m, but I don't like anything enough at any price to put up a bet

3.05 Coventry Stakes - Great Barrier Reef is top on numbers for me and whilst still looking very green. Any of these can step up an improve significantly and that's the risk you take with 2year olds. Doesn't look like a huge drawn bias anywhere atm, and low numbers appear to have a lot of pace which will help GBR.

3.40 King Charles - I have Jackaro 40/1 AP for this, but feel the ground is going to be too quick. I think the Temple Stakes form line is one to follow. Not 100% certain Overpass is as good over 5, but between him and Jackaro they'll set a good pace for the high numbers, so American Affair is the one I want to be on as looks better than last year coming into this. After back Night Raider a few times last year to no avail obviously come good this year and also looks very good. Frost at Dawn and Cover Up and big value ew prices, but not sure goo enough to win

York 3.35 - Fortification was a decent 40/1 winner for me lto, and I think has a decent chance again today back with 3year olds. The negative on the trends is not won over 6f but I don't think will have an issue getting it. Fast horse. It's not the easiest of races. I was also looking at Super Soldier, at 100's on the machine. Interesting one. Thunder Call obviously has talent and likely worthy fave, but does he have a experience yet?

1.30 - Usually looking for a front runner, but given the ground, hold up is okay. You don't want to be held up close to the rail though or you risk traffic. Call Margot is twice the price of Alfa Duplicate which makes no sense to me. This horse is quick, will get strong pace and just have to hope horse has learned to settle and that Sam James doesn't get stuck behind a wall, and steers it around the pack from last to first. I did initially back Rosie Frith at 25s and can't cash out, but I think with the likely ground, top weight and pace, it may set up better for hold ups.

York 1.45 - Last years cliff horse Ormolulu has been backed in from 40/1 into 18/1. Urgh. One of the unluckiest horses in training last year. Just could not find a way through on so many occasions and mark was barely reduced. Down a few pounds now and has Tom Marquand booked. Highland Olly down the middle and Dingle high should set enough pace for Marquand to sit to the side of the main pack, so that when he hits go, he has no traffic to contend with. If Ormolulu is in form can win this. Last race was poor so there is a risk is not. Havana Prince has good enough course form and in good nick, so if sticks close enough to Highland Olly has a chance.

2.55 York -  I'm keen on a few of these, but the one I backed was Rousing Encore. Carr is in stonking form and will boost this C&D winner. I backed it at 20's but at time of writing it's now 16/1 as Pricewise has annoyingly tipped it up. Lto was surely a lie as it never front runners. Needs a strong pace to come off which will 100pc have. Strike Red was best on numbers. Indian Run, Dark Thirty, Woven and Rousing Encore made up the Top 5 on C&D / going numbers.

Ascot 2.20 - Knocked it down to 7 quite quickly. Usually goes to an improver. Two I quite like. Tribal Chief - Price has gone somewhat, but unlucky twice last and will win a race off this mark. Shiplake - Was full points across the board, except one thing. The draw. Usually pays to be higher and saw yesterday they all came high again. 

At the prices willing to back Shiplake 16/1 on the exchanges with a 2/1 bet on top 6 on the exchanges also. Trainer form and form in race is good and race has been won from low before. With Humam looking like the only confirmed pace in stall 5 maybe this year can be another low draw winner.

Ascot 2.55 - Classical Allusion is potentially ahead of mark. Went of fave lto and it didn't pan out. The fave is strong but if can settle in from a wide draw could srping a surprise at decent odds

 Chester 1.30 - Stalls 1 - 6 is where you want to be. Respond is the obvious pick and likely winner but no value in the price. Triple Double unlikley to be good enough for this. Echalar is out of the handicap. Great David could win this is replicate Dee Stakes run, but top weight will be tough. Leaves Bragbor, who is competitive at this grade, gets a decent claim and the best draw. At 14s is worth chancing.

2.55 - St Anton ran well enough over C&D lto (other than the start), but need to see a lot more from Joe Leavy before can trust him, otherwise would have landed here.

3.30 - Not sure Bay City Roller is best on this ground. At the weights Eydon is joint top with BCR but a total flop lto. Sunway, is this the distance? Not sure. French Master so far off on numbers but the wizard has gelded him and removed headgear at towards top of market. Too many questions on most of them, so another leaving.

4.05 - Silver Ghost is way too big not to play here. Silvers C&D win was a quicker time on slower ground than when Elarak won over C&D and now gets an 8lb pull as well so for me the price is value. Only guessing game is whether fully fit after absence

Meydan 12.20 - The draw has worked turned out perfectly for Commissioner King here. Can make all to win. My concern is this is a race Seemar has not won and has 6 horses running in it and so am willing to take a risk on Banishing, who will love the pace that 4 or 5 of these will set. Has gone very close to winning a G1 when dead heating with Nysos. Expecting this one to come flying home late. Backing this now as if the track as slowed won't impact this one at all.

The give also makes it harder for Al Nayyir. Sunway is good but not sure good enough. Caballo De Mar is a G1 winner and will assume the Prix Royal Oak came too soon. This one looks to have a live chance if Al Riffa doesn't show and no issues with change in ground.

 Doncaster 1.20 - A Bear Affair is the one I'd pick given Hannon is 2/2, but I know nothing about the field so no points up on this.

Doncaster 1.50 - Montassib is best on numbers. Follwed by My Mate Alfie, Jasour who is taking a hug step down in class and then Spycatcher. They are all short enough and no need to pick one. I would have backed Jasour if could get a bigger price but often misses break.

Doncaster 2.25 - Principality improved enough last season to be capable of winning a C2 race. Won race lto on the wrong side so better result than on paper. Eustace and Fraser have decent stats here

Doncaster 3.32 - I always look to get faves beat in this big handicaps but I'm really struggling to push out Eternal Force. Hugely progressive. Haggas has some very strong stats for a race and a horse like this and has won this race many times before with a horse of this profile, the draw if fine, meets all the trends and the form from Newbury is decent enough. I can't find another one in the race as strong. Tribal Chief was interesting but seems to like smaller fields and not sure drawn there is any good. La Botte I have marked for Ascot and last 8 winners have not had a prep run like this. Rogue Diplomat loves it here but wouldn't chance will stay the extra furlong. Greek Order was also tempting but didn't compare to Eternal Force.

Audience is best on numbers but from a wide draw and few other front runners, not sure will be able to capitalise on numbers. Mysterious Night next best on numbers. Appleby won this race 7 times.... The only other interesting one was Witness Stand. Pretty close on numbers to MN. Often runs badly, but conditions are surely perfect here for this one. Lethal Levi is interesting fresh, but maybe a better 6f horse.

Based on ratings ran well enough in the middle park and with the 3year old allowance close to top. Now had experience of Meydan. Any improvement can see him go close.

These handicaps are getting harder with more and more international runners meaning more and more formlines to assess. Ran out of time to write up.

1.30 Meydan - Very tricky this one. Daarkom would probably be the one, but not having it from the draw. Open Mind is best on numbers, but draw not great either and will wait till SBS hits form before backing his. Second best on numbers is Jumaira Bay. Maybe could have won 2 or 3 C&D handicaps, but sometimes misses the break and sometimes hits traffic. If doesn't miss the break and Pat can guide this one through the maze without getting blocked can win this. Jungle Mac was next on list.

1.30 Meydan - I assume pace will come from stall 1 (Kalisda) and 2 (Rebatt), both of whom have the capability to win off these marks. Eye on the Prize and Elenjob from 3 and 4 bring decent enough from from behind Silver Sword. Sean remains the best on numbers all round on best form, but last two runs have been average. Sudden Ambush is next on numbers. Always runs on too late though. 

This is hugely open. If Eye on The Prize had a better jockey I'd be sold, but I don't know who this guy is and has not won at Meydan before. Given I think there will be a stronger pace today I'm willing to give Sean one more go. So far ahead on numbers (other than recent form).

2.05 Meydan - Awesome Fleet is best on numbers. Most are still unexposed, still improving and so hard to be nailed on here esp as could make a case for many like Na Eem and Rashwan. Looking for some ew value in this and landed on Brnytshe. Decent dirt trial and form not bad. Not so good on turf, but back on dirt, the Shoe onboard, decent draw, could easily spring  surprise.

Meydan 1.30 - Appleby holds a strong hand and stable form is hot but backed Sean and Green Triangle last out and not giving up on them. Arabian Light and Bedioun been drawn wide, Alpine Trail likely best handiapped of the four, but been gelded and long absenc. Green Triangle missed the break and was flying home lto and Sean met trouble lto but made up most ground from the back and still is best on numbers all round. Would have beaten Arabian Light last time they met here if not for traffic issues and now has a 13lb pull. Rock of Cashel potentially a blot, but two enough.

Hassim was a big price place for me last time and I think would have won (beaten Yotarid and Rightherrightnow, who both 7/1 today) if better drawn and not hampered. Better draw today so let's go. Indian Springs is a good way ahead of mark but dropping in trip. Of all the Spencer runners I think Two Tribes is the most likely. Billy will need to switch over but decent animal winning 2 major handicaps.

Meydan 3.15 - Disaster. The 3 I earmarked are drawn the widest in 13,14 and 15 and the horse I didn't want drawn 1 got 1. Callahan has some decent form and could make all.
