The faves on paper look decent, but almost inevitably I'll get merked on a fair few of them.

Haydock 2.00 - Elrazzy 7/4. Gosden currently on 30% SR and here at Haydock in this type of race is 32%SR. Hanagan ride 22% SR at the track. Money for the horse throughout yesterday evening. Blew the start on debut, lost at least 5 lengths and then flew home to take 4th so looks decent enough. Looks by far the best of those that have run. The one horse that has not run is Smashed so know nothing about how good could be. High Command is a beaten fve so could bounce back but didn't look great.

Haydock 2.30 - Swiss Storm 11/8 - Frankel Crop. Gallop reports are positive. No early evening money which odd, but let';s see. Pens Dutch worries me on paper and Roaring Character is the best of those who has run under belts

Haydock 3.00 - Bloody Star Archer. Cost me before and draw is bad. Top drawn over a mile at Haydock do really really well so Inception 16/1

Haydock 3.30 - Zwayyan 6/4 is defo ahead of mark. Bolted up last time. The horse he beat was beaten less strikingly by Sky Kingdom, Mulk and Munthaa. The biggest worry is always will he take to Haydock and 3yr olds don't do that well in this. Hmmm

Salisbury 3.40 - Perfect Angel 2/1 beat Promsing who went on to be second in a Group race. Also beat Boquet Des FLores who although not won is highly thought of.

Haydock 4.00 - Dark Emerald was a solid 2nd in this last year but at the weights Muwaary 7/4 is 7lbs better off. Muwarry get perfect trip though maybe wants ground slightly quicker. He was given far too much to do at York but the Jersey stakes form shows up to winning a race like this. Forge is a huge danger but after Thikriyaat got beat into last the form takes a bit of a hit.

Haydock 4.30 - Stars Over The Seas is the obvious pick here, but the ground is not as quick as would like and Haydock form is dire enough for me to take on. SBS horses still need a watching brief after a torrid year, but on paper is chucked in. Gabriels King 14/1

Haydock 5.00 - Amateur racing harder to pick the winner. Hmm. Dark Amber looks like a bit of a plot now in new headgear, but Diletta Tommasa 4/1 get the vote. Ignore last two runs on AW, won on turf race before that, has the best jockey in the race
