Actually turned out okay on the ews last week. Probably a faves day

R1 13.30 - Tough race with no stand outs. Backed Fall of Rome 11/1ew last time. Got a good break and tried to make it from the front as I expected and just started to hand under pressure, but held out for the place. Drop in trip to a distance has won at before and willing to punt at this price. Not much else can make a case for other than Mayaadeen, but Watson is 0/16 atm.

R2 2.05 - Can't see passed Mountain Breeze on paper, but not at 4/9 for me. Pocket Phone is probably overpriced at 100s but I'm just leaving this race. MB into an acca.

R3 2.40 - Estmar Evs wins on paper, with Undefeated big danger

R4 3.15 - These prices are not fun for me but again Romantic Style should win on paper. That said I'll take this on with Emaraty Ana 8/1ew Sure getting older now, but actually ran pretty well last week. Got too far behind and stormed home in similar times to the impressive West Acre. If doesn't get too far back might, just might upset RS. Haasim is a big price. Will think about it.

R5 3.50 - Another average handicap and again hard to make a case for much. If Magic Petition 14/1ew runs to the same level as two races ago will go close. Gamekeeper and MP will both try to win it from the front from their lows draws, so is a risk set it up for something else, but can't work out what. I like Welcome Dream but again, with Watson form can't do it. Could be Gamekeeper and Magic Petition 1-2 if no one catches them

R6 4.25 - First Conquest was mighty impressive time out, but willing to punt See Hector 13/2ew to turn the tables with a 7lb pull. Asassi looks like a weapon so a fun combi tricast with First Conquest, Asaasi and See Hector

R7 5.00 - Guns and Glory 2/1 just needs to win today. Can't have any excuses today. Tacitcal Bound has produced the best historic form but hasn't produced anything since was lame few races back

R8 5.35 - Al Qudra should beat Hallasan but I maybe might back the forecast or back Hallasan 3/1 at the price to come flying home late. TBC. Out of time to think.

Decent last two weeks in meydan. Card looks amazing today, but not my cup of tea. No handicaps :(

 Decent Meydan last week inc a 16/1 winner (albeit had a r4).

2.05 - Mount K unlucky not to win last week. Has form on turf so can go close again today. Poster Paint looks so obvious on paper but worried about the blow out Seemar had last week. Age of Baroque flopped lto, but potentially well handicapped. Athan interesting. Ajwad is surely too old now to be at peak, but at peak would win this. Trappy so I split 1 bet across all three.

2.40 - Can't back any SBS horses until see winners. Bold Style and Regheeb likely winners but willing to take two outsiders who can excel over C&D.

5.35 - Castlewarden is Laurel River brother and interesting to see in a handicap first up. Doesn't look well handicapped but if have the class of LR, well then it's game over. Mubakker and Meshakel can go close on best form, but El Nasseb is running off a good mark based on last run

Decent ew with Supersundae. Only one winner at Meydan last week and week before think was a whitewash. Card no easier this week.

1.30 Heart of Honour has a good chance but not sure can bet at the price. Too many could improve past.

2.05 - Trappy race. Story of Light 16/1ew on best form wins but think has likely regressed. 11lb lower than this time last year but I think ran better lto than in a similar race this time last year so has a chance. Magsood 10/1ew  might be second string but on paper looks better handicapped than Molaqab who on paper has needed runs after long breaks, but if fit will go very close. Hassim was interesting also, but left it with two.

2.40 - Gamekeeper and Welcome Dream will both try to win from the front and the likely winners, but I like Barq Al Emarat 14/1ew. Ran well enough behind Welcome Dream lto and the likely pace could set this up nicely. The problem is Sandro Paiva. Just don't think the jockey is good enough, but at the price willing to punt it. Gamekeeper 3/1 gets a cover.

3.50 - Made a case for 10 of these so probably should avoid. Arabian Light 13/8 is likely the group horse in a handicap and should just stick with this but of all the others Western Writer 22/1ew(NR) worth a small ew. Alfareeq on best form was the danger, but not sure can back horse steered by Crowley atm

4.25 - Surprising to see many of these in a handicap....

At the weights then I expect to see Guns and Glory 4/1 to turn the tables with Mendelssohn Bay, although it's very risky as MB will also likely improve for the last run. Will probably do a MB-GaG fc. If Nevershow Weakness wins at 16s today I'll cry. First Constitution on form years back was tempting but nto sure can back it on current form.

5.35 - Similar to 3.50 where can make a case for many. Regal Connection 2/1 should win a race like this off this mark and New Comedy 16/1ew who I thought had a solid ew few weeks back gets another chance. Valvida was tempting also.

 1.55 Naas - Not impressed with Jasmin's jumping. Form looks good but at this price keen to take on. Butch Cassidy interesting. Last year's winning Reading Tommy by Authorized was the Mullins outsider. Supersundae 25s the Mullins outsider also by Authorised looks a decent ew. Authorized decent record with stakes hurdles here. Ran a decent race in the Supreme over too short. Down in class lto but romped even though keen. Could see at furlong pole gave couple taps and then was off. So will have the stamina for a battle tomorrow. Half brother to Supasundae who is a G1 Hurdles winner over 2m4f also. Seeing lots of money. Managed to get 25s yesterday. Money either confidence or the syndicate is getting giddy.

1.30 - 15 runner turf handicap. happy days. Endless Victory likely winner. Looks unexposed and if tries to make all, I'm not sure anything is likely to go with it. Could hack up. Given the likely lack of pace from anything other than Endless Victory, Blue Trail who broke the track record could try to come from stall 15 and sit behind Endless Victory. This could make things very interesting... For all that I'm not sure on reason was sold etc and why bottom of the market.

Silver Sword is very interesting on best form. Intricacy is also very interesting back to 10f. Was a really impressive win from off the pace and if in the same form could give Endless something to think about.

2.05 - Smart thing to do here is follow the form of Imperial Emperor. Leaves you with Laasudood and Khanjar. Imperial Emperor ran faster when beating Khanjar, who also looked a bit difficult in the home straight, than when beating Laasudood who has now also gone up 5lb since. I like neither jockey so assuming they both run to their best going for the bigger priced one as first bet.

2.45 - Silky Wilkie's price looks too big on best form. Will that form translate to Meydan, not sure, but no reason why can't especially with Burke in decent form.

3.55 - Something about Ottoman Fleet and Meydan doesn't work. Even though OF beat Poker Face in the Sefton many years back I think at 1m, Poker Face is better.
