Bets 29/08/2015
72 hours later, 5 hours of sleep and a baby later am pretty delirious in multiple facets. Had the 20/1 acc came in yesterday would have been even more so.
Tom Pricewise Segal from the racingpost has tipped
2.20 Beverley - Line of Reason 6/1
2.50 Newmarket - Intense Tango 15/2, Magic Dancer 14/1
3.25 Newmarket - Naadir 10/1
All £10 singles.
Racing
2.50 Newmarket - Faqhuar 8/1 £10.00 e/w - I am taking on Segal with Farqhaur as sets a very very solid formline at the course.
2.35 Goodwood - Fox Trotter 10/1 £10.00 e/w - 3yr olds wil start doing the business over their elders with their cheeky allowance. Fox Trotter loves it soft, clearly likes Goodwood and has a decent chance. There are always hard luck stories at GW though and if is held up from stall 1 might struggle on the rail but at the other end Jacks Revenge £10.00 e/w 28/1 could run a big race at big price if not left too much to do from wide draw. Back on winning mark
3.25 Newmarket - Portamento 5/1 £10.00 e/w - Again taking on Segal. Portamento could have won listed race last time out but for the draw. Well capable and does not have a listed penalty like Segals pick
5.05 Newmarket - My Dad Syd 5/2 £20.00. Looked very green but a good one in the making when landing last race
£5 e/w four folds x2
£10 treble 140/1 Faqhaur, Portamento, My Dad Syd
Right better get back to the kid. BHA Handicap system takes a while to teach :)
Golf
Barclays - Speith £20.00 60/1 from yesterday. I am declaring everything. Will show me how much I am chasing and actually winning (or losing)
Football
£10 Four Fold 16/1 - Arsenal as Newcastle played midweek, Man City -1 as should walk this, Bournemouth who have hit 8 goals in last two games and Swansea who can take advantage of a poor Utd team at the mo
Sanchez 3-0 scorecast £10.00 35/1

Usain certainly did not disappoint yesterday! Speith started well and then crashed. I put another score like I said but I don't fancy him anymore after watching a few highlights....
Newmarket 2.00 - Promising Run Evs £20.00 - Looked pretty good on debut and was well backed so hoping good sign
Newmarket 4.15 - Dasaaster 10/1 £10.00 e/w - Best run was over C&D so looks a good chance
£10.00 double on the above. It's weird betting stakes this small but let's stick with it for now
Barclays winner - Speith 21/1 £20.00

The Blog Revival - Ban Jay Desai, Ban Him!
Over the last few years I've had a lot of fun writing this blog, albeit recently I'm not sure I could class it as writing. I know definitively how much I won every day for the first 12 months; £21,420.59!! A few months later topped it up with £36k at Ascot and then my P&L tracking slowly fades away and just how much of the profit I've depleted since I don't know; I'm scared to find out. I do know all of the money has been lavished on a car, a wedding and some extravagant holidays....
Whilst this blog covers just the gee gees I've raked in thousands on golf and footy scorecasts, although if I'm honest over the years I'm sure I would be down in these sports. Again, I just don't know.
This week I'm going to be a first time daddy and will be starting a new role at work shortly, which means firstly I need to be more responsible with cash and secondly and more importantly for the blog I'm going to have some time to get back in control of punting due to less hours at work.
I'm starting small again and I'm tracking EVERYTHING, every sport, every penny. Bookies, watch your back, innit....
Time to get banned again.
Athletics
200m Winner - Usain Bolt - 1/2 £20.00. He may not have won the 100m if it was not handed to him, but there's no doubt in my mind the 200m title is his even if not handed to him
Golf
The Barclays - Jordan Speith 11/2 £20.00. I figured Day might be tired, I toyed with DJ but couldn't commit and Koepka I nearly backed again but maybe next year for him as still inconsistent. Jordan is really short and if he has a bad 1st day I will probably whack a bit more on if hits 12/1ish, but does surely have the best chance.

Bets 22/08/2015 - Ebor Day 4
Pretty good day yesterday as well and again avoiding Segal worked a treat.
Sandown 1.45 - Montaicino 8/1 e/w
York 2.00 - Tough for 3yrs olds so rule out Convey. GM Hopkins beats Basem on form and had impossible draw last time. Don't think Mondialist is good enough. Top Notch is good but I don;t think that good in comparison to others in this field. Mashoob was really put into his place last time out and def needs 10f. This is a mile and GM Hopkins 10/1 looks a huge price e/w. I think Mutakayyef 9/1 will find it hard from return but Haggas trains him so ignore at peril.
Chester 2.20 - Ring of Truth 5/2.
York 2.35 - Tough but one who does not have to prove stamina it is Dannyday 12/1. I reckon this one could outstay the pack and the MJ horse setting the pace
Chester 2.55 - Gold Trail 4/1
York 3.10 - Hmm. This is really tough. Areen is of interest as Ryan does well in this race, a solid course winner and very close to Washington DC at Royal Ascot, but latest race Ajaya beat him well enough last time out. Finnegan could be special but had a bout of colic so who knows. This is hard. I think I have to go with the Haggas factor, but not the obvious one. I go Raucous 9/1. Unbeaten solid form and after only 2 race beat a 101 rated horse. Could improve by leaps.
York 3.45 - I've been backing Arabian Comet 20/1 in vain for last few races, but now in handicap has a huge chance. Another Haggas horse I know but big chance. Angel Gabrial and Suegio might run well at big price but they all have Quick Jack and C Warrior to beat. I think Quick Jack 7/1 is the better bet at the price and form lines hugely franked
York 4.20 - Ornate 10/11 looked awesome on only 2nd run. This will be tough though against much more experienced horses.
York 4.55 - Tough again. Munaaser 8/1 good draw and step up looks like iw what he wants and solid form. Elhaame 8/1 one the best handicap form. SBS horses running well but toughish draw
York 5.25 - No imagination. Scent of Summer 3/1.
Bath 5.30 - Faery Song 3/1
Bath 6.00 - Sequester 3/1

Bets 21/08/2015 - Ebor Day 3
More positive punting yesterday and again avoided Segal and watched another handful of his bets flop. No plans to follow today either.
York 1.55 - I'm convinced you need to be in the lower half of the draw to do well in this so takes out a number of my options. Mistrioc looks a suspect stayer. Chancery has a huge chance. Always runs well here when drawn well. I just wonder whether backing after last week is wise and 96 is pretty high for him. Hmm. Libran 12/1 looked unluckyish last time out but then again did get put up 4lb. that form is rock solid though and is a C&D winner. Having a few cheeky quid on Random Note 33/1 a good old boy who was once 117 rated. Pearl Castle 25/1 if bounces back to form wins this as is worth risking nothing major went wrong last time out.
York 2.30 - I like cookies but I'm not the biggest fan of Clever at this grade. Was truly put into place at Ascot so will look elsewhere. Trip to Paris s solid but has a penalty. Mizzou 5/1 beats Hidden Gold and Vent Du Force on previous form so gets my bet. For all the hype of Quest for More, Max Dynamite 12/1 gets a few quid too.
York 3.05 - Bloody hell. Keep it simple. Tanzeel 11/1 won be shed loads last time out. Ran better than on paper. Course winner, lightly raced in form. Nagging doubt is one time on GS ran very badly. The ground is drying out I hope....
York 3.40 - Acapulco 9/4 gets a 27lb allowance. That equates to letting her start 9 lengths ahead of the field. She ain't an ordinary 2yr old. Doubts must be the ground and the York track which some horses just don't go on. Sole Power gets a few quid on the place. 11/1 is massive though if you don't fancy the US beastress and with Haggas smashing them in Muthmir is going to go really well. Qatar Racing have to lively chances and I did back them both antepost (Pearl 50/1 and Wind 66/1) I'm sticking with Acapulco as bet for today. The weight allowance is too much.....
York 4.55 - Will Haggas form get home from the poor draw. Maybe, but I think will be a Supreme Occasion 33/1 when he bowls home. Got a lot of experience for a 3yr and whilst exposed the races tend to shoe 8f GS will be optimum.

Bets 20/08/2015 - Ebor Day 2
Standard carnage yesterday although some were pretty achievable. I ignored Segal yesterday which was a good choice. He has had only 1 winner in nearly 60 bets.
1.55 - Mayfair Lady won from high draw yesterday so Tasleet 2/1 if is the best horse (and ratings say 3lengths clear) then should win. Concerns - loads of unexposed 2 year olds, the ground soft and it's York. No banker.
2.30 - Ladbrokes are offering 2/1 on Lumiere. MJ says solid horse but is realistic about challenge and I think it's a fair comment. If Besharah 9/2 improves again it would take something very special to to produce 110+ on only second race. So I'm going e/w on Beshhy.
3.05 - So many could win this, but I'm taking the easy option. Mange All 6/1 e/w. I had a huge bet last time out and was payback.
3.40 - Covert Love 3/1 has the form and has won here. No reason to oppose.
4.20 - Looking for a 3yr old winner. Hot Sauce trainer is bad nick else would have backed her at huge price. Yarrow too much to prove. Suffused hard race last week. Melodious not good enough. Marlet might be better on AW but I think the draw is important in this race so Koora 8/1 get's my vote. Amaze me 100/1 e/w might amaze some
4.55 - Sprangled 4/1
