1.50 - I'd been eyeing up Dream With Me for this race, but the draw and ground make it hard to really be confident. Given the ground Sky Defender stands out to me. Also second in this race of 5lb higher. Migration after 2 years off looks to still have it, but will bounce?

3.35 - Surely one of Strsd or Trueshan wins this? Still not forgotten Ballydole supplement Seprentine for the Gold Cup. Didn't run great. No idea why running the Goodwood Cup either, but if really does stay then only Sir Ron Priestly is likley to take Serpy on for the lead and maybe might run another 'fluke'?
I can't back the top two at the prices so why not this...

4.10 - Now I've really lost the plot. Backing a 12year old to win a pretty competitive handicap at a big meeting. Was unlukcy last time out, is a C&D winner, will handle conditions, has a decent draw fora front runner. Problems are trainer form and so many other front runner. Risk is reflected in price for sure.
