Tom Pricewise Segal from the Racingpost has tipped 2 more in
the National today:
·
Big Shu 25/1
·
Burton Port 16/1
He also tipped Teaforthree 20/1 (massive chance on last
years form) and Shaklalakboomboom 50/1 (who has been trained for this)
Right here goes nothing (again)….
Aintree 1.30 –
All form points to Wilde Blue Yonder 11/2 behind Vatour. Doubly franked
yesterday. Whatever beats it will be smart.
Aintree 2.05 –
Balder Success 7/2 is King’s “best chance of the week”
Aintree 2.50 – At
Fishers Cross 7/4 or Zark? Hmm
Aintree 3.25 –
Victor Hewgo 9/2 is ahead of his mark based on form with Holywell
Aintree 4.15 – Before
these fences became so safe, it was possible to get close to the winner. You
could sack off anything with dodgey jumping. Now the fences are child proof it’s
more of a lottery. All the punters say so and that why we now have Gold Cup
runners in this race and not pure National runners. I only wanted to back one,
but as always I’ve has an Antepost bet already The Package 25/1 (form of
this has been franked couple times)
Every trainer is bullish, so no clues from them. The ground
is too quick for a few so can at least snub a good dozen or so.
I was going to pick three in this and one was definitely Burton
Port 18/1. With Segal tapping him up I thought I’d hit 3 more:
1)
Golan Way 150/1 - loves Aintree, front runner, good form, has
won a listed handicap race of a higher mark and a G2H too, jumping has improved
from when he should have won the John Smith Novice Chase here 2 years ago and
well now this race truly has become a lottery why not!
2)
Prince De Beauchene 25/1 was a major
player in the betting last year before injury. I’ve always liked him and he has
won at this meeting
3)
Finally a horse that nearly won the Topham last
year for a trainer bang in form, Walkon 50/1
Aintree 5.10 – Katgary
3/1 is short and not sure how good that form is after Hawk High got merked. But
this is a huge step down in class as it is for Vasco Du Ronceray 14/1 and
Massinis Trap 16/1
Aintree 5.45 –
Have to go with King’s horses Ordo Ab Chao 9/1 and McCabe Creek 25/1
A few on flat today but nothing I can be bothered to look
through as wasted time looking at the jumps card!
Lingfield 1.50 – 1st
Athletic 2nd Presumido 3rd Bertie Blue Boy
Lingfield 3.00 –
Brass Ring looks ahead of handicapper
Lngfield 3.40 –
Barley Mow 11/10 top rated
Newcastle 2.45 –
Aetna 4/1 was going the right way and hopefully has improved again into a 4 yr
old. Form has been franked and a winner at Newcastle
