Another day of boringness and then on Friday and Saturday there is tooooo much to handle....
8.20 Kempton - Last night I was going to max bet Poyle Thomas at 11/4. I went half way to doing so on Betfair, but I am going to put a lay in running now because there are big dangers. Presto Volante 7/1 absolutely bolted up over C&D in April and Perrett has had a couple winners of late so could easily figure in this. Doubt Story Writer can turn tables with PV. Clerks Choice comes here fit from hurdling and nearly won off this mark over C&D earlier this year when would have needed the run. Spice Fair won pretty easily last time and no reason why Moore can't get him involved again.
However, I'm sticking with Poyle Thomas. Trainer in good nick. Course winner. Ahead of mark. Was very progressive last year until met softer ground and looks to have improved over the winter after very good return so will hopefully be even fitter! However at 7/4 now, not going in again.
8.50 Kempton - Shavansky 15/2 is old old old now, but I still think can win races of this level on this mark. Never had a chance in last race as no clear passage, but won previous race comfortably.
9.20 Kempton - The Martyn Meade stable shouted about Green Park the other day at 14/1 and it won. Today they are shouting about Zarliman 5/1. Will have had to improve, clearly, but let's see. My normal hat would say Gravitational 11/2 looks decent and I backed Messila Star 8/1 last time and with Doyle onboard is certainly not out of it. Let's see what Meade's boys know....
4.00pm update...May as well just go through card :)
6.50 Kempton - Almerzem 5/2 was travelling really well in last race. Will need the extra distance to show best I reckon.
7.30 Kempton - Rocket Ship 9/4 to use his experience to win this.
7.50 Kempton - Panda Spirit 4/7 short but should win
