Bets 19/05/2016

Goodwood 2.20 - Erm definitely not one for betting in, with 4/5 with decent changes. Pastoral Player will come flying home late after being dropped in from a wide draw. Enlace will try and take it from the front, Fox Trotter has a serious chance but for me Russian Realm 15/2 gets my vote. Solid C&D winner and Hughes will have taught Shane his way around Goodwood
Russian Realm 15/2 2pt win

Goodwood 2.55 - Fitzwilly 7/1 won this last year of a much lower mark and also with a 7lb claim, but the way finished off last race suggests a improved since then. Be disappointed if did not place but worth a pop at the in
Fitzwilly 7/1 2pt win

Goodwood 4.00 - Must use the Cheshire Oaks as the formline and therefore Dessertoflife 9/1 must go very close if breaks well. Play Gal will set up the pace
Dessertoflife 9/1 2pt win

1pt e/w Treble

York 2.20 - Tough. Really shouldnt bet in 3yr old handicaps but Lydias Place 25/1 is worth a small chance. Will try to make all but it may be a tough ask for the inxperienced jockey to get the fractions right. Solid C&D win in this class off this mark so has chance. Doesn't have fitness edge which may also scupper. The form horse is El Astonaute 9/1, but I worry about the draw.

York 2.55 - Again shouldn't be betting in this either. Whole bunch of unexposed 2yr olds. Hannon has a decent sort on his hands with Amlak, but Boater 15/8 was very impressive on debut and looks the one to beat

York 3.30 - Nemoralia 11/10 was Noseda's best 2yr old last year, 3rd in the Breeders, nearly a stone clear on ratings and has no excuse not to win :) Clearly first run back, yard not firing and a whole host dangers especially Czabo is always a worry!

York 4.05 - Flying Officer 13/8 back at level weights again has no excuses. Maybe the track might not suit but flying stable and jockey. Clever Cookie always worries me especially as is a CD winner

York 4.40 - Barsanti 5/2 a horse still well in and Atzeni says is better on turf. Hope is is right! no surprise though if beaten by a CD winner ans York just does that to you

York 5.10 - Looks between Secret Hint 5/1 and Breakable 6/1. Slight preference for Breakable

York 5.40 - Project Bluebook 11/1

Newmarket 2.10 - Arabian Hope 5/2

Newbury 4.50 - Gunnery 7/2

Im keeping Danzeno and Abe Lincoln onside after backing them yday. Danz was hanging all over the shot and Abe didnt have a good race. 5f draw killed me but will be bi excuse today :) Appeared also wandered all over the shot but won well.

York 2.10 - Low draw seem to win yesterday, so Duke of Firenze 12/1 who had a shocker last year is clearly back to form. Griffs horses running well and would have romped this race 3 years ago off this mark. Probably should have won anyway but was hampered. All set for a big race I hope. Shamson 16/1 looks chucked in based on C&D win 2 years ago but need to faith that has retained ability.

York 2.40 - Hmm. Journey is the best horse, Beautiful Romance needs it soft but only beacuse Journey is taking a step back in trip I am going with Lady of Dubai 5/1 who must have ideal conditions today and romped a Listed race on seasonal appearance last year

York 3.15 - All the rage for Midterm but favourites really struggle in this race and the form really is not that strong is it which then rules out Victory Bond using Alogmeter as a marker. Detorri getting of Foundation surely means one thing and then rules out Deaville on formlines as well as Muntazah who is running season start. Few don't look good enough, Kentucky, Sea Flames, Top Beak, Black Sea. Leaves Wings of Desire, Harrison and Choregrpaher. Gosden has a habit of bringing horses from C4/5 races to winning Group races and Wings of Desire could be another. Varian really likes Chor and Channon keeps saying things which cannot avoid like this horse will win Dante and best horse since Youmzain. So, I backed Harrison 40/1 last night and will back Wings of Desire 7/1 as well

Suspect will put Journey and Midterm in a double to spare any blushes!

York 3.45 - Tough. Low Draw, in good nick, ignoring last run, C&D winner, though needs to up game to land this; Birdman 20/1

York 4.45 - Charlie Chaplin 14/1. Absolutely hammered in betting last time only to flop. Eddery is adamant best horse ever trained. What that amounts to against the big trainers I don't know but that prices with cheekpieces on it's got to be worth chancing

Newmarket 6.15 - Point of View 2/1

Newmarket 7.55 - Battlement 2/1

Newmarket 8.25 - Midnight Machiato 5/1

York
2.10 Palmer in form and 20pc at York. 2yr old form with Consort is rock and shows goes on turf. Moore booked and gallop reports suggesting working well. If goes at York which is always a question mark for every horse then Spanish Squeeze 7/2 wins for me. Not a banker as Erik The Red form is highly progressive and Ryans horse do well at York also Pacify has solid claims as Dark Red has gone on to win again. Tricast anyone?

2.40 Rounding down to CD winners so many have a chance. Tough race but with Bogart 11/1 slipping down the weights so much must be the best handicapped CD horse but the biggest CD improver must be stablemate Flaming Spear 6/1. If the drawbias says high is screwed today then so am I. Forecast anyone?

3.15 Muharrar is the formline to use. At the weights this means Danzeno 15/2 wins

3.50 So Di Mar 5/6 no banker though

4.20 Unexposed 3yr olds. Nice. Abe Lincoln 6/1 looks chucked in to me if transferring form to turf but again draw could play big part

5.20 Appeared 5/1 chucked in. Listed class in a handicap

Lingfield
2.50 Athlon 4/1
5.00 Colonel Bossington 6/4

1.50 - Bazooka 16/1 e/w well in on form. Left field selection
2.25 - Jazzi Top serious fomrline, but Irish Rookie 12/1 looks huge e/w
3.00 - Englishman 16/1 e/w
3.45 - Minding looks solid, but Alice Srpingsd 20/1 e/w
4.15 - Charlie Chalplin 11/1 best Eddery ever had, but Global Applause also wel well touted
4.50 - Swiss Range 7/4

Need to get back on track but it's near impossible with work and a bebe. I have 45 mins today. Let's see what I can muster together:

Nottingham 3.35 - The Black Princess 1/2 chucked in

Wolves 6.30 - Class 4 race yet I see a G1 entered horse; King Cole 5/2. Impressive enough on debut and Cowell smashing in the winners. Parkour is the clear danger but got whacked up 9lb and if King Cole is patterned class then frankly 5/2 is a steal

Wolves 7.40 - Hakam - Evs. Backed this last time but Murad Khan a decent one beat it. Back in trip with no dangers on paper has to win this, though worry is Hills stable form
