Bets 27/02/2013

Bangor 3.20 – Corrin Wood 9/4 has solid claims on form. Down in class, McCain and Maggy also team up to a 29% strike rate here and they have won this the last two years.

Bangor 4.50 – Is Violin Davis really a 133 rated horse? I don’t know. Difficult to tell. Even if was 120 rated Tara Rose 11/4 would be lbs ahead of the handicapper based on last run and even on penultimate run. Issue is the fact that TR was thumped off 120 in a handicap and the BHA has not changed the rating. Still, worth the punt.

Wincanton 2.30 – Boom Boom. Admiral Boom 6/1 down in class and couple pounds ran well in a decent race last time over C&D. Slighlty more speculative and the market has brought this in from 16/1 into 8/1 is Boomtown Kat 8/1. 27 lengths behind Ely Brown, but between them was Holywell, Hada Men, Hollow Tree amongst others and has very good C&D form

Total Staked £240.00, Total Returned £202.50

£15.00 e/w Boomtown Kat 9/1 - LOSE £0.00
£15.00 e/w Admiral Boom 6/1 - LOSE £0.00
£90.00 Corrin Wood (Insurebet 3 places) 11/10 - PLACED £90.00

  1. Hey. I've done Admiral Bloom, and I think I might do Corrin Wood today. I was thinking about investing a sum of cash on a Mccoy trixie over in Ireland for his 3 rides today...any thoughts on that? Good luck today.

    1. Can't help I'm afraid. I'm just so average when it comes to punting in Ireland. Safest bet for me is stay away! On paper they look solid favourite, but Waaheeb is so short, it doesn't really make the doubles worth it does it? The treble I guess might be worth punt, but not for me! GL
