Bets 06/03/2012

I cheated myself yesterday by lumping on Munsarim for a second time. A combination of being adamant and chasing losses resulted in £100 bet. Of course, I was rewarded for my cocksure behaviour as the race was never in doubt!? William Hill offered 5/4 on Hurricane Fly yesterday. I was nervous that something had happened, but there was no reason to be. WH are promoting themselves in the run up to Chelts, for new and further existing business. Today they are going 6/1 on Oscar Whisky which is interesting. If you are heavily leveraged on Big Bucks this must be good each way value.

Exeter 3.00 – Bendant won with ease last time and although a huge hike in weights, I can see him winning from the front again. Seems to be money for a potentially well treated Pip horse; Glassawine

Exeter 3.30 – This is the time of year The Twiston-Davies stable hits top gear. Keen on Ammunition, last year’s winner off the same mark. Aderluck is arguably the class horse in the race.

Exeter 4.00 – Another Twiston horse that loves it around here is Rhum. This is uber difficult to pick a winner but I also like Bounds and Leaps. Demolished a field two races ago before falling in last. Would surely have won that race as well. Only difference is Scudamore’s bunch aren’t in the greatest nick anymore.

Southwell 2.10 – Looks between the Sopran Lad and Fearless Poet.

Southwell 3.40 – Couple interesting ones here, but I’ll bank on the track running slow for Storm Hawk last time and for him to bounce back.
