Bets 11/03/2012

I got massively sucked into the Presenting Aces gamble, which flopped. There was no other reason for me to tuck in but the huge market confidence. Put him in 7 of my bets. Fundamentally flawed punting cost me £48.00. Tom Segal’s tips cost me another £48.00. My thoughts on the other hand were genius. No bias, obviously. The 1.40 @ Meydan - I called a 13 horse race to perfection and was duly rewarded with a 19/1 forecast. Mutahadee, Urmoristic, Kathleens Price and Plein Pourvoir didn’t win, but were all placed. Dover’s Hill was an interesting price and glad got on at 12/1 – SP was 8/1. And to top it off, I claimed a free £10 bet @ Chelts by backing a banker in Sanctuaire. But, time to bash the ego – I only made £16.98 profit. I can’t blame Segal, I didn’t have to follow, I can blame my bandwagon antics, but again, I didn’t have to tuck in, but I did. Anyway, to today…

Warwick 2.35 – Pepite Rose looks a very good chaser in the making.

Warwick 3.05 –BoomShakeShakeShakeTheRoom

Naas 2.45 – I’ve always liked Bog Warrior and although Flemstar also looks a treat, The Warrior Bogged Flemstar the last time they met.

Naas 4.20 – Tullintain is Tom Segals pick. At 2/1 not sure, so will take him on with Roberto Goldback.
