Bets 21/04/2012

Started off well yesterday and then my bets just capitulated. I’m an iPhone down and severely hungover so not sure how well today will pan out. Let’s find out.

Ayr 2.50 – Raya Star is a horse I’ve followed all season and can’t quite work out why I’m being given 10/1. Clearly he didn’t like Chelts and clearly Edgardo Sol and Red Merlin are solid, but Raya looks like good place value .

Ayr 3.25 – I’ve already backed Merigo AntePost and Tom Segal has picked out Quentin Collonges.

Newbury 2.35 – I really like Best Terms. I’ve not done well so far on the flat but hoping this might start turning things around. The form lines are there, the trainer form is also on fire.

Newbury 3.10 – Has to be all about Bronterre. Surely surely. Form franked significantly.

Newbury 3.45 – Segal has backed Dubawi Sound and Heddwyn. Will keep an eye on Oriental Scot in the market but my head hurts too much to look through this!
