I’ve learnt the hard way, but Epsom is one of those tracks where it is risky backing anything that hasn’t run there and run well there before. Technically should give me some advantage? Let’s find out.

Epsom 6.50 – Kings Troop should reverse form with Shesa Bear at the weights and goes really well here so 5/1 looks tasty.

Epsom 6.35 – Rising Legend easily has the best form lines to go on and despite the early money for Martial Art my preference is for the Hannon Horse.

Epsom 7.45 – Shortlisted are Konstantin, Corporal Maddox and last year’s winner Space Station. Turner has switched to CM from Kons, but that gives Kons a 7lb claim. I don’t know where to turn, and I don’t want to back all 3, but I probably will.

Epsom 8.20 – Infinitum looks like a worthy favourite
