Bets 11/07/2012

Another few quid banked yesterday. If only backed the forecast in Southwell 7.05! Was 34/1! I’ve not put a forecast in for a while so no self -harm required. Newmarket starts tomorrow and just hope the weather continues to hold out!

Kempton 8.20 – Silent Moment 11/4 has been let in very lightly. In her last race which she won, 4^th place who was nearly 5lenghts behind went on to win a class 5 handicap on a mark of 70 pretty easily. So being let in on a mark of 79, with course form, SBS’s strike rate here (34%), and the fact SBS is starting to pop out the winners (29%), means this feels like a solid bet.

Yarmouth 4.10 – I’ve defied Desai Jnr by not backing his punt, Born To Surprise. This is a hugely hyped horse and may well be a cut above the others the race. Bell and Spencer both have great strike records, but I can’t back it on potential. Need to see the goods. I like The Confessor but not at the prices. Hadaj was going to be my choice but think the ground will go against him. Instead I’m going with Loving Spirit 13/2. Handles the ground and is definitely on a mark to win a Class 3 Handicap.           

Lingfield 5.30 – Fortune has popped up for one race today here on Ginger Monkey 2/1 and PWC-H has been doing insanely well for himself with his 2 yr olds and pretty well with 2 yr olds. The fact this has been backed from 11/2 into 2/1 hopefully a clue.
