Wowzers i have now just seen third time lucky previous run. Had I have seen that before would have been a pretty obvious this horse is a whack ahead of mark, but alas tried to punt in 45 mins using phone in a hurry. I also broke the £20 bets. Hit a ton on Foundation and then got excited and hit a ton on artful prince. Would have been a disaster if Sanchez did not smash it yesterday...

Over the last year I've constantly caveated my punts with I don't have enough time to research... I look back to couple years ago when I smashed 2-3 hours a day, Ascot this year when I took a week off work and this last week and there's no coincidence the results improve. I've never ever had a day like Thursday with 5/2, 33/1, 5/1, 10/1, 9/4, 8/13 winners, a 12/1 placed and only 50/1, 6/5 and 33/1 losers. If I were punting my usual stakes I'd see £10k in the bank and with a few my crazy accs potentially £100k, but my new reserved sensible punting I only took £1k. I'll take it; I can't be too annoyed, can I?

I toyed with Lady Correspondence but has been off too long for me after injury but it's Gosden so could be risky leaving out.

3.05 Doncaster - I think this is between top 3 in the market; Koora, Hidden Gold and Gretchen. At the weights I think Hidden Gold is beaten. Koora has the course form, but I'm going with Gretchen 5/1 £10.00 e/w. I think her pace maker will make this a proper test and will suit Gretchen better

How I only broke even yesterday is beyond me. Had the Suzi Connisueur race been in France I would have been awarded the 14/1 winner instead of second. I think it's totally bonkers SC was not awarded that race. Watch it for yourself it's a total joke. Duretto 10/1 deadheated a win and Charles Molson 14/1 stormed home too late to take only second. Anyhow that's racing!
