Right, I'm well overdue a good day, let's hope it's today....Going to pick some double price horses today as well as a bunch of faves to bolster the accs.
2.00 Newcastle - More than likely to go to Danzeno 2/1 but when Mubtaghaa 12/1 e/w won the Yearlings @ York I thought would go on. I'm willing to ignore last run, back at 6f whichlooks his optimum for a trainer with a 35% SR at the course.
2.10 Windsor - Balliol 2/1 too green last time. Ought to win
2.15 Newmarket - Gospel Choir 4/5. First run back is the worry, but is best horse here.
2.35 Newcastle - Kimberella 12/1 e/w has a good chance. Tanzeel looks the best but first run back. Bushcraft is an obvious favourite but Major Jack could turn the tables at the weights but I just think at the price Kimberella who likes this track and has run 2 decent races over 5f last time out, back at 6f has a decent shout.
2.50 Newmarket - Katie's Diamond 5/2 looks a solid filly.
3.10 Newcastle - Baraweez 10/1 e/w loves the track, doesn't like Ascot, could have won at Chester couple races ago, but had a bad trip. 7f is definitely best distance and always runs well in big handicaps. Can see going well again today
3.20 Windsor - Kodi Bear is solid, best horse here by a long way, but have to take on as first run back with Complicit 5/1
3.25 Newmarket - Hors De Combat 3/1 best horse in race
3.45 Newcastle - Gutted Segal picked Clever Cookie as though 12/1 was going to have a large e/w. I've logged in at midday and is only 6/1!!! FFS! This is horse is solid but at 6/1 less excited. will still back. There's loads of money for Monefeltro 14/1 e/w, but the other I fancy is Gabrials King 12/1 e/w. Solid form behind the Gold Cup winner. If runs to that mark could crumble the cookie
3.55 Windsor - Huntsmans Close 4/1. Was all over this horse AP for Ascot and lost it all as was jockeying around. Better compensate today. Please :)

4.35 Newmarket - If Azmaam 12/1 e/w runs the way he did here like he did in April will win. Odeon! Used to love this horse but cost me a load of wonga - looks to have lost it.
Should probably back every MJ horse today. Am staying away from Curragh!

Ascot 2.30 - Big punting on Ballydole 2/1 for me.
Ascot 3.05 - Mahsoob 2/1 is group glass. Best improving 4year old in the race.
Ascot 3.40 - Ordinarily would be as shock for Telescope not to win. But Stoute has has a mare last few days and only on that basis I have to pass. For me it's therefore Eagle Top 7/2. Won very well here last year
Ascot 4.20 - Brazen Beau top rated but not having an Auz win this today :) Same then applies to Wandjina. If this was 7/8f would have backed Wand, but it's 6f.
Mustajeeb 11/2 has to win this for me. Top horse, top form. Due Diligence on paper looks biggest threat on paper but will pick Mutsa over him.
I think Undrafted has a good each way chance as does Caspar Netcher. Haven't decided which one I'll go each way with yet. Will watch to see where the money goes
Ascot 5.00 - I am heavy Antepost on Huntsmans Close 16/1. Barracuda Boy 33/1 e/w in great form can go well if gets a good start. Gamesome a good pick by Segal. Dinkum Dimond 33/1 e/w also tempting, but biggest bet is still with Huntsmans Close

Getting there. 2 20/1 winners although still only just about finished up as differing stakes. After 20 bets Segal hit a 20/1 so he is even now too :)

Ascot 2.30 - Illuminate may well win but is too short price. Had 3lb claim and weight last time so win was easier than looked. At 16/1 e/w Jersey Breeze is worth a pop. I think I managed to follow form through to Besharah who ran well the other day behind the Ward machine. Speaking of the Ward Machine, Segal has tipped Laxfied Road so I will tip the other one Back At the Ranch 7/1. Ward reckons BATR will catch LR at the line. Haggas horse are running badly else would have backed Tutu Nguru.
Ascot 3.05 - Everyone will plough into Ryan Moore today. I like Ol Man River but has shown nothing so far this year. I'm working with the Derby formlines so going with Mr Singh 12/1 and Festive Fare 5/1
Ascot 3.40 - Wowwaweewa. Hootenanny 4/1 likely winner. I don't think Adaay will beat Limato on this quick ground and I don't think A.Alex will beat Tiggy Wiggy over 6f and I really just don't think anything else will win. So Hoot, Tigg and Lim for the Tricast
Ascot 4.05 - I just have to give Found 7/4 one more chance but the French horse Ervedya is a massive danger. Not going overboard with this race
Ascot 5.00 - Warrior of Light 16/1 back to form. Collateral form is Listed class. Cheekpieces on to sharpen up.
Ascot 5.35 - Bantry Bay 6/1 huge price. Aloft has to be taken on as not run in while

A slightly better day yesterday, but very gutted about Temptress and Always Smile as both were very close to winning.

Ascot 2.30 - King of Rooks clearly is the one to beat but Log Out Island 11/4 offers so much more value. They both thumped Buranito but Log Out Island hit 97 RPR on debut. That is seriously good and therefore could be very very good. A small punt on Waterloo Bridge 20/1 as well
Ascot 3.05 - Time Test 9/4 looks good. Strong confidence behind this one
Ascot 3.40 - Panoma 13/2 was c0ck blocked the whole race last time out. With a clear run think will go close. As much as I like Found the form doesn't look that strong so can't back the favourite in this race
Ascot 4.20 - Forgotten Rules 11/4 and Mizzou might give him something to think about
Ascot 5.00 - Capel Path 10/1 had form franked by Mister Universe. Extra furlong will suit
Ascot 5.35 - Dissolution 5/1

Bets 16/06/2015 - Royal Ascot Day 1
If I do anywhere near as well as last year at Ascot will be a happy boy. Problem is this year is work has engulfed my life so I'm not as informed but I still feel well up for it and I'm finally going to be bowling around the royal enclosure.
Tom Pricewise Segal has tipped 7 today which is an awful lot for him. Another bag full of losers at the weekend so hope he bounces back as is costing me hundreds.....
3.05 Ascot - Air Force Blue 9/1
3.40 Ascot - G Force 12/1, Meccas Angel 8/1
5.00 Ascot - Broxbourne 14/1, Noble Silk 25/1
5.35 Ascot - Areen 20/1, Steady Pace 8/1
Right time to make some moooooolah.
Ascot 2.30 - I still can't believe Night of Thunder won the guineas last year. Could argue Kingman wasn't at best and AOB's horses (Australia) are rarely in full gear at beginning of season and was put in place by Kingman here last year. I'm not writing off but I can't back against Able Friend or Solow.
Able Friend looks incredible overseas but I'm not taking a punt on him handling the surface as that's the real gamble. Therefore Solow 6/4 is the pick. There are no front runners here so Solow's turn of foot will merk them. If Hannon has put Toomore to make the pace and set it up for NOT and this turns to a fierce sprint I'm worried for Solow and despite what I wrote above NOT might do it.
Ascot 3.05 - Buranito looks pretty good, but has been readily brushed aside a couple of times so tentatively pass over. I just can't see passed the first 3 in the market. Round Two, Finnegan and Air Force Blue. Air Force Blue 9/1 is definitely worthy of a bet. The form has worked out very well and AOB knows how to win this.
The problem is I want to be on Finnegan 7/1 and Round Two 5/2 as well which is totally pointless.
Seen a few videos of Finnegan and this horse is quick bruv, but it's impossible to assess the form. Wesley Ward's horse are one of only a few international stables I will pay attention too and he is pretty upbeat about this one.
Everyone is shouting Round Two, unbeaten and impossible to ignore. I'm sitting on the fence with this one, but I think the tricast is on.
Ascot 3.40 - I think the pace is going to come from the middle with Stepper Point and Take Cover
I was pretty peeved with Hot Streak last time. Cost me thousands in a broken accumulator but why the hell is he 33/1! Having watched the Temple Stakes back one horse should have won and I think Hanagan bodged it. Wind Fire 25/1 e/w is massive. Loves Ascot and given a better ride today will go really close. I'm having a small bet on Hot Streak 33/1 e/w in case bounces back.
Jack Dexter is not out of this race but I think it's going to be too quick ad same for Mecca's Angel. Muthmir has a solid chance but for some reason I'm not convinced. I don't think Pearl Secret can win this despite the Temple win.
Sole Power 4/1 is just pure class and shows it time and time again and luck is the only thing than can really stop him as long as he is fit today :)
Ascot 4.20 - I'm sure everyone thinks Gleneagles will win. But at 4/6 I'm going to have a punt on Consort 13/2 e/w. If he comes second it's not far away from what I'd get on betting on Gleneagles. GE is already rated 122. Kingman was 126 and I've not heard, but maybe I've missed it, anyone claim GE is as good so can there be any improvement?
On the other hand Consort is two races in. I had a goof bet on him last time and boy did he look good. I think he's rated 112 after last race and no reason why after on 3rd race can't improve enough to go close
Ascot 5.00 - This is too hard for me. I backed Ray Ward last year. Everyone is saying was really unlucky. Up 3lb and I'm not sure I can back today. I prefer jumps horses and the two today are both Hendo horses. Hurrican Higgins 20/1 and Broxbourne 12/1. Both huge changes at the weights and in good form. Don't worry about the wide draw. Means not as much as people say. Just look at last couple years....
Of the Mullins lot think Digenta 10/1 is the best on this ground
Ascot 5.35 - Ruby Notion 10/1 is too big and is Opal Tiara 22/1. Ruby Notion another Ward horse and another one Ward is pretty bullish about. Opal Tiara just simply has the best form. I think Easton Angel will go close to winning tomorro
Thirsk 5.20 - Bella Nostalgia Evs form is so solid
Beverley 7.15 - Dark Red 5/2
Wind Fire/Opel Tiara 400/1 e/w double is exciting :)

GE is already rated 122. Kingman was 126 and I've not heard, but maybe I've missed it, anyone claim GE is as good so can there be any improvement?
On the other hand Consort is two races in. I had a goof bet on him last time and boy did he look good. I think he's rated 112 after last race and no reason why after on 3rd race can't improve enough to go close
Ascot 5.00 - This is too hard for me. I backed Ray Ward last year. Everyone is saying was really unlucky. Up 3lb and I'm not sure I can back today. I prefer jumps horses and the two today are both Hendo horses. Hurrican Higgins 20/1 and Broxbourne 12/1. Both huge changes at the weights and in good form. Don't worry about the wide draw. Means not as much as people say. Just look at last couple years....
Of the Mullins lot think Digenta 10/1 is the best on this ground
Ascot 5.35 - Ruby Notion 10/1 is too big and is Opal Tiara 22/1. Ruby Notion another Ward horse and another one Ward is pretty bullish about. Opal Tiara just simply has the best form. I think Easton Angel will go close to winning tomorro
Thirsk 5.20 - Bella Nostalgia Evs form is so solid
Beverley 7.15 - Dark Red 5/2
Wind Fire/Opel Tiara 400/1 e/w double is exciting :)

7.10 Nottingham - At first glance Robin Park looks solid but Imtiyaaz 11/4 has form with Ceaseless and is therefore potentially further ahead of mark
7.40 Nottingham - Hanno 15/8 only one with any form

Have to be really careful today as no real idea what the rain has done/will do to the ground. Although I've never tracked it, it's very obvious that I make money when no rain around and ground is good/good to firm. Anyhow let's go....
Sandown 2.20 - Basem 15/2 back to a mile good chance as long as does not let Jacob Black get too far ahead. C&D winner.
York 2.35 - I looked through the card and I think the tricast is on and agree with Segal. So Beloved 9/1, One More Word 14/1 and Alfred will be 3rd :)
2.40 Bath - Jumeirah Star 12/1 hinted at ability after everything that could go wrong did on a debut run. Poor stalls, wide and green, but showed ability
2.50 Musselburgh - Distant Past will probably win, but Mapping Time 9/1 has by far the best form and worth chancing at the prices. Gets a cheeky claim today too.
Sandown 2.55 - If you use Mattmu as a marker Likely 11/4 will win but is first run of season
Chester 3.05 - Ejaazah 15/8 good draw and Hannon 2yr olds do well here
York 3.10 - Gabrial 7/1 ran an awesome race of top weight over C&D. Will go close if in same form. Has 10lb to find with Yuften, but he ran a shocker last time
Musselburgh 3.25 - Red Barron 5/1 same formline as Mapping Time in early race so will smash in if MT wins
York 3.45 - I knew Scalzo 4/1 was miles ahead of mark last time. He's not miles ahead this time but he is minimum G3 Class
Sandown 4.05 - Classic Win 5/2 maiden has worked out really well so looks on a good mark. I backed My Dream Boat last time out so hope does not do me over. Grand I is the obvious danger but can't assess the form

3.50 Sandown - Still can't belive managed to get 7/1 on Rembrandt Van Rijn last time out when you see his maiden form. Anyway 5/2 today and on him again still ahead of mark
4.20 Sandown - Stoute in good nick and Muntadab 11/10 looks decent enough in this class
7.35 Goodwood - Dawn Missle 7/4 good form

Newbury 2.50 - Journey is interesting on the Speedy Boarding form but can't work out if Gold Sands is better. At the prices Journey 6/1 might offer more value
Newbury 3.25 - Tough. Encore L'Amour on paper has best chance on form but actually Lady of Dubai beat her very comfortably. Speedy is the best 3yr filly in Fanshawe Yard so must count for something. I will go with Speedy Boarding 4/1
Nottingham 2.30 - Impressive Victory 5/6 on paper looks much better than the rest but has been off for a while
