Chester 3.00 - Rebel De Lope 10/1 1.5pt e/w. I will big on Atty Peresse in last race and I was worried about Rebel as was cruising upfront but then just merkeled out in last furlong. WIll hopefully be fitter for run back, drop in trip will help and based on Sandown form few races back is very well handicapped. There's also some cheeky from with Ronald R who sorted me out a 14/1 winner few days ago.

VERY HARD DAY. Have solid AP positions for Guineas so don't want to lose too much on other races....

1.50 - Ballet Concerto won the consolation Lincoln well enough. Best form (I think) on show, but Next Stage looked really impressive last time when he brought best from to race. Tentatively Ballet Concerto 5/2 2pts. Loads of dangers in this fieled, nit got time to look through.

Goodwood 2.05 - Alf Guineas 4/1 2pts ew.

2.20 Newmarket - This is not easy and all the horses on ratings have solid chances. Surely ground is too quick for Profitable. At the weights, Marsha, COtai Golry and Just Glamourous are just pipped. Themse comes out well at the weights, but doesnt run well fresh and no Newmarket race so may not take to it. Royal BIrth shouldnt be good enough. Priceless is just held by couple of these on previous form. All those 110 rated horse of 9-3 on paper are besaten by Gracious John, Wastington DC and Dancing Star. Washington adn Gracious have been tried many times for a 4yr old, but Dancing Star 14/1 1pt e/w could well still be improving and spring a surprise. I worry does need 6f though, so only a small bet.

I've hit the crossbar so many times with big AP bets. Hope today I break the curse. Even though I backed Eminent for the Craven, foolishly never backed him for the Guineas of Derby. So today's punt has to be Emninent 15/2 2pts e/w. I still think Churchill will win, I'm only punting this because I'm covering my AP bets.

4.10 Newmarket - Hard not to be very impressed by Victory Angels 7/4 5pts win C&D ROMP last time. Rich and Famous franked the form too.

RR is running off 88 today so well in. BUT Son of The Stars 5/2 3pts win could be further well in. Seems to be a lot of money on Eagle Creek. Hmm.

2.00 Ascot - Corinthia Knight 8/11 - 3pts win. Looks very smart. Not necessarily beaten much, but suspect will be heading to the big 2yr old Royal Ascot meetings.

2.35 Ascot - Icespire comes with lots of hype, but Blending has been fav for last 3 races including for a G2 race, so is also well thought of. I suspect Inspire wins this, but no major entries for this, so at the prices rather go for Blending 7/1 1pt e/w

3.10 Ascot - Harbour Law has a penalty, and still can't believe won the St Leger! I just don't fancy this horse though, not sure why. Nearly Caught, trainer worries about ground. Pallastor I really like, but not the price as want an ew on him as not won over C&D despite many tries. Don't know if Battersea stays. M Queen trainer in dire form. This leaves my pick and hopefully is a Sweet Selection 11/1 2pts e/w. Loves GF, improving, stays, gets a filly allowance and I think is 4/5 lbs higher than BHA have given her. Big e/w chance I hope. I pray. Annoyingly only 2places now VDF is a NR. Betfair Exchange E/w still paying 3 places. Result.

3.45 Ascot - There is a lot of hype about Harry Angel. Yes I'm sure is decent, but on paper looks tough ask to beat Blue Point 6/4 4pts win. Harry has a 4lb penalty and is rated 6lbs less than Blue Point so needs to perform 10lbs better today! Blue Point has SOLID form with Memhas (115OR), Thunder Snow (115OR), Churchill, etc.
