Bets 25/03/2016 - AW Championships & Dubai World Cup Night 2016

@ Lingfield the best horse does not always win due to bad rides and bad luck. The favourites look decent again today so let's hope for a Good Friday

AW Fillies and Mares - Cold as Ice 4/6 missed the start but was flying home. Better start and wins despite draw

AW Sprint - Goken 10/3 is the one to beat but Ryan is 0/7 so stable not going well. Lancelot Du Lac has a terrible draw else could beat Goken. Realize 10/1 e/w is the Lingfield form horse and been winning decent C2 Handicaps of top weight

AW Marathon - 3 horse race but the favourite Moonrise Landing 9/4 beats them all on form

AW Mile - Mindyourownbusiness 2/1

AW Classic- Grendisar 6/5 has beaten both my last two picks Maverisk Wave and Festive Fare so must go with the inform nag

AW 3yr Mile - Haalick 15/8 - Listed winner on this track

UAE Derby - Polar River 4/6 too good surely; looks pure class

The Sprint - Sole Power has a big chance in 5f good ground jobs, but always needs luck. Ertijaal 10/3 has a serious serious turn of foot, clearly progressive. Looking at course times he could rip a hole in this lot as never needed to complete any raced this year in 1st gear

Dubai Turf - If Tryster 2/1 loses it's a fix ;) It'll be as bad a Yanworth losing :) Serious horse just hope nothign gets too far away, doesn't hit traffic or any other jockneyness

Dubai Sheema - Postponed 7/4 won last race pretty cosily. Postponed won the King George and can see him taking another big prize today. No idea how good the jap horse is but PP for me.

Bets 18/03/2016 - Chelts Day 4

Even less sleep today :)

13.30 Triumph - So wide open. No idea but specualtive on Ivanovich Gorbatov 13/2 £50 e/w who was impressive on debut. Already backed Zubayr antepost

2.10 County - Superb Story has the form but went up another 9lb and Skelton not in good nick. Those towards top of weights don;t go that well in this race. Wait For Me was a horse I really liked early season but Hobbs having bad festival. Modus 16/1 £150 e/w and Starhitect 12/1 £150 e/w boith have solid form. Flying Angel has franked the Betfair form signifcantly and both have run very well at chelts. Both trainers going well. Both must go close. Just need 1 to come in top 5 to cover the outlay

2.50 Albert B - Not sure Shantou will stay, Barters 9/2 £100 was stiff on Wednesday but has been tipped up by so many. I backed Blue et Rouge the other dasy, but not sure it's the one I want. Gangster 13/2 £50 e/w gets the other vote as we know stays and will be all good on the ground

3.30 Gold Cup - I've been on Don Cossack most of the season. Backed mainly at 5/1 so no need to go in again. DJ and Don Poli may well beat him, but I think biggest danger must be Cue Card. I'v never rated CC but impossible not too. Either way no more bets on this for me

4.10 Foxhunter - On The Fringe 11/4 £150 Looks a pretty weak affair

4.50 Pipe - Where we all start to lose winning from the week :) Squouateur 4/1 £150 e/w is supposedly a shoo in. Marorico 33/1 £75 e/w and Whiteout 33/1 £75 e/w are the specualtive punt based on previous formlines

5.30 Grand Annual - Usual punt Eastlake 12/1 £50 e/w, Ravens Tower 25/1 £50 e/w

Thursday 17 March 2016

Bets 17/03/2016 - Chelts Day 3

Sprinter Scare 16/1 and Diego the handicap blot plus an e/w acc put me up again. I had a lot of doubles with Diego today with supposed 'bankers' and I'm still disappointed with More of That and Yarnworth. In hindsight Yanworth beaten on good ground again and King's recent form stacks that up. More of That never really looked convincing today and Blacklion the real stayer in the race with an inform trainer won it. I'd always prayed a little SS would come back, but didn't think it would happen. Diamond King was a well fancied horse as was Ballandy so could have been picked and JO was unlucky. I'm sure someone somewhere had a solid day.

Another 4 hours sleep in bag, I'm flagging....

JLT 1.30 - Not enough juice for Outlander, Black Hercules surely more of a stayer. I don't fancy Garde Le Victoire on this ground. Twiston two winners yesterday but I think Britsol will try to make all and fail. Either way GLV smashed him by 7lenghts previously and whislt head of the market he only came here to dodge Douvan so not yet sure and Hobbs horses not been running well last two days.

The form of the Supreme Novices is working out well from last year but L'Ami Serge surely needs slower ground, so only leaves me with 2 who I'm not sure I would orginally have backed when first looking at this card. Zabana 12/1 £50 e/w who nearly won the Coral Cup last year, giving 5lb to Aux Ptits Soins running in the World Hurdle later today. Big change with Davy onboard. As De Mee 33/1 £50 e/w. The Steel Plate last year has had form franked today and yesterday so worth a pop back on good ground even if comfortably beaten by by BDM last time out.

Everyone is tipping up GLV 4/1 £74 so I'll be a mug an follow which means I know have 3 bets on. Hmm

Pertemps 2.10 - Leave At Dawn too short for me considering form. Cup Final didn't do it for me at Chelts last year. Our Kaemper 12/1 £50 e/w is well treated on Sefton form and race has been target for while. All Hell Break Lose 50/1 £50 e/w

Ryanair 2.50 - Vautour 11/10 £150. In here because only 90% or because does not stay :) 11lb clear on ratings and whilst Road to Riches is clearly class Vautour is immense. Burned by 3 faves yesterday so prepared myself :) Roads to Riches 4/1 w/o Vatour £75

Wordle Hurdle 3.30  - Coming into today I thought would be in line for a huge payout but so many beaten faves! Ahhhhh. Well Thistlecrack 13/8 £150 is surely still the one to beat. Ground no  good for Alpha, Whisper is top class and has a chance, Warren bullish about Cole Harden. If Zabana wins first Aux Pits Soins will be popular but already back this one AP. Martello Tower won the AB last year, AFC a solid C&D winner so there are too many other choices. So I'm just sticking with TC

Plate 4.10 - No time to look in depth sadly. Astracad 50/1 £50 e/w, Full Shift 12/1 £50 e/w

Mares 4.50 - Limini 4/5 £150

Kim Muir 5.30 - Doctor Harper 5/1 £120, Indian Castle 20/1 £50/1 e/w

Wednesday 16 March 2016

Bets 16/03/2016 - Chelts Day 2

Last race savior yesterday. Big saver, in fact more a big victory. Anyhow I've only had 12 hours sleep in last 3 days as mega insane times at work. Awful timing. Won't stop a lunch break punt.

1.30 Neptune - Yanworth 11/8 £200 has the course form and form to take this

2.10 RSA - More of That 2/1 £200 has the course form and form to take this

3.30 QMCC - I have Sprinter Sacre 16/1 AP so no need to so again. Un De Seaux 4/5 £200 just like the above has the course form and form to take this

Treble up on that shizzle.

2.50 Coral Cup - Don't have time to go through card today. Hunters Hoof 16/1 £50 e/w, Blood Cotil 14/1 £50 e/w, Bau Delaroque 14/1 £50 e/w

4.10 Glenfarclas - No longer a handicap so top rated horse ought to win. If Balthazar King returns to form goes close but broke ribs and Josies Order 3/1 £150 surely offer more. Young, improving Bolger horse. BallyB trainer says improves a stone on better ground. Still not sure is enough

4.50 Fred Winter - I'm no good with 4year old handicaps as all totally unexposed. However Diego Du Charmil 7/1 £100 e/w looks solid enough for me. Fix Le Kap 16/1 £50 e/w and Kasahk Noir 16/1 £50 e/w

5.30 Bumper - Again totally unexposed bunch. Castello Sforza 12/1 £50 e/w The form looks very good. High Bridge 12/1 £50 e/w ran well over C&D on 2nd run. Got a lot of experience, but Aiden needs to rise prominently to have a chance

Tuesday 15 March 2016

Bets 15/03/2016 - Chelts Day 1 2016

Supreme 1.30 - Don't think William Bonney, Holly Bush Henry, Mister Miyagi are good enough . Supasundae didn;'t do it up the hill for me last year.

The form of Altior doesn't stack up even though is a C&D winner. Buveir D'Air an exflat horse not convince has the makings of a supreme winner.

Min is clearly very good but not as good as Douvan or Vatour were, though may not need to be. Charbel beat too easily by Yanworth. Just watching MIN though is impressive £200 9/4

Bellshill din't run anywhere near well enough in Champion. Segal tipped Silver Concorde antepost so already have money on this. North Hill Harvey might not have the experience. P Pavillion is tempting based on run in October but will want slighlty better hround.

Petit Mouchoir is tempting but at the weights and with arguably some of the best juvenile formlines in Ireland TOMBSTONE 16/1 £50 e/w get the vote if Min fails

Ante Post Tip from Tom Segal £100 e/w Silver Concorde 25/1

Arkle 2.10 - DOUVAN 2/5. No bet

Ultima Handicap Chase 2.50 - Need hours to get through this. Have 20 minutes. O MOANIAI 50/1 £50 e/w still very much on the bridle over 2m 6f. Never lost that much ground to Alloomomo who is well touted and I suspect over this distance would have got a lot closer. George is in decent enough form for this one to massively out run price.

INDIAN CASTLE 33/1 £50 e/w was 4th in this last year and unlucky not to be 3rd is 5lb lower.

Both Curtis horses look decent too but Warren G's horse on a mark of 139 has to be a total shoo in. Milans Bar walked a C3 off 137 putting this horse on at least half a stone better. Was in the AB last year and orginally entered in the RSA this year. OUT SAM 7/1 £100 e/w

Champion Hurdle 3.30 - If Annie Power wins great, but was never the target and is some respect a big step up in class to what used to except for at the festival. Clearly I am going to have a small Day 1 Mullins acc like the whole world

Sign of a Victory would be an upset, Peace and Co looked last year to be top contendor but can't back him, Rockefella can't be good enough and Hargam good but suspect too many other good ones here. Camping needs it deeper and maybe not soft enough for Top Notch

I heart MTOY but I worry off the bridle not all that and 2 years off. Hats off to Hendo if it pulls it out bag. I don't think Nichloas Canyon handled the track well enough last yeae but maybe was the trip. hmm. TYO is solid and the yard think has a huge chance this year but for me fancy THE IDENTITY THIEF 15/2 £50. I think would have beaten NC last time out if better ground and we know how Cooper loves Cheltenham!

Tough one today

OLBG Mares 4.10 - VROUM VROUM VROUM VROUM MAG 11/10 £200 looks pretty solid

National Hunt Chase 4.40 - Only betting in this because I have to :) MEASUREOFMYDREAMS 12/1 £50 e/w comes here in awesome form but not overly qualified to assess the dangers

Close Brothers Handicap 5.30 - BALLYALTON 14/1 £50 e/w 2nd in Neptune. Hasn't taken perfectly to fences but suspect today he will be spot on. Good jockey onboard to help make mockery of this mark

THOMAS BROWN 16/1 £50 e/w decent novice, course winner and trainer decent enough record at Chelts and on the basis I think Out Sam is well handicapped makes sense for me. Double Shuffle was next on my list but I don't think likes the hill from watching last two races here

Too many accs with the above to list :) but £400 on in total on them

Bets 13/03/2016

Boom boom boom. Amazing how hitting a reset button can bring things back to life! 25/1 and 9/4 winners and it's just a shame didn't land the treble. Clearly in good fashion I laid the last to hedge so ended up a solid £1.4k up

1.50 Kelso - The Fresh Prince Evs £75 solid form franked yeterday by Alcala

3.40 Warick - Longhalder 8/1 £25 e/w solid stats in these conditions

£25 Double

Bets 12/03/2016

RESET>>>>>

Sandown 2.00 - Barneys Down 22/1 £25 e/w. Serious formlines with Yanworth and Winters Escape, yard in good nick and will like ground. Divine Spear 12/1 £25 e/w ground will be massive help and decent form ignoring last race

Wolves 3.25 - Midtech Star 9/4 - £75 - Williams yard bang in form, course winner, was drawing clear last time, Tangramm boosted form, Kirby onboard. Lots of ticks, but the Balding horse could be a worry if takes to Tapeta

Ayr 5.15 - Randy Pike 11/10 - £100 Richards talks highly of this horse.

£25 Treble x2

Bets 05/03/2016

Probably not worth following these. Just for me to warm up

12.35 Meydan - Rich Tapestry 4/5

1.45 Newbury - Cousin Knee 8/1 e/w on best form would win this (s,fg)

2.15 Newbury - Restless Harry 6/1 (pw,gsnb)

2.50 Newbury - Saint Charles 3/1 solid form (f)

3.05 Lingfield - Dangerous Thought 2/1 (f,s)

3.25 Newbury - Sametegal 7/1, Art Mauresque 11/2 (s,rr)

3.30 Meydan - Tryster 4/5

4.15 Lingfield - Abe Lincoln 3/1 (s,f)

4.35 Newbury - So Oscar 33/1 ew/ (s)

4.50 Lingfield - Jolly Red Jeanz 11/4 (s)

5.25 Lingfield - Hope You Dance 7/4 (s)

Thursday 3 March 2016

Bets 03/03/2016

14/1 placed on the bob, couple winners and couple beaten by horses I was worried about, so happy.

1.45 Southwell - Kestrel Call 5/6 ought to brush off

3.35 Meydan - First Selection 6/4 is miles clear on ratings but once of these 3yr old could improve without comprehension and we'd be stuffed. In Moore we trust though

4.10 Meydan - Polar River is very very good, but can't back at 1/8; not even in an acc

4.45 Meydan - Hmm. Euro Charline wins on ratings and gets 3lb from Very Special, but back from a break and I wonder whether it's worth backing Very Special 7/4 who romped last time out and clearly could be better than 110

5.20 Meydan - Dark Emerald has screwed me twice now this year. I can't back him again but at 6/1 is good e/w value. Fis Anges will go close if not win as won with some in hand last time. But at 20/1 Kanaf is huge value. Clearly needs to break well, but with a decent 6ll claim big chance.

5.55 Meydan - I backed Star Empire 20/1 couple races ago and couldn't understand why was such a big price. 4/1 today and at the weights should be evens money

6.30 Meydan - Musaddas 2/1 can win again.

Wednesday 2 March 2016

Bets 02/03/2016

I've been too immersed in babies and work to find time to blog. That's not to say I've not been punting by any means.... :)

2.55 Wolves - Handicap debuts; love them. Rip Van Suzy 3/1 been well backed so yard clearly think is well handicapped. If you watch the race on 30 Dec over 6f here RVS is totally chucked in off a mark of 59 and Prince should now know the horse well enough. Need to hope breaks cleanly.

4.15 Wolves - Gay Kelleway in decent form, 20pc strike rate at Wolves first time blinkers, rated 62 when last won, running of 42 today; 14/1 Je T'aime Encore

4.40 Wolves - Same as RVS. Southern Storm 2/1 is chucked in on handicap debut. Can only assume is 2/1 as no form at Wolves but off 77 ought to romp everything except Jack of Diamonds who is down in class and also well handicapped.

5.15 Wolves - Project Bluebook Evs has been hacked in the betting. Something we don't know?

6.15 Kempton - Last year was good word from MJ yard that River Thames was a decent colt but I lost a fair bit on him, twice. Third time lucky at 4/1 today? Was 9/1 this morning. I think might want further and on next run in a handicap will win, but let's see today especially as a 125k newbie in race

8.15 Kempton - The Big Lad Evs
