3.30 Lingfield - Stepper Point 6/4. Group 2 winner. Listed CD winner. Mark dropped very low and looks like back to form.

4.00 Lingfield - Tartan Blue 15/8. Hate backing MJ nags but this got solid CD form and assuming dictates from front should win

7.15 Newcastle - Fave looks opposable. Espresso Freddo 6/1 and Tadawool 7/1. But solid course form at this level. Small r f/c too

Lingfield 3.50 - Indus Valley 16/1 ew. Seriously well handicapped. Headgear switched. Carter loves a good old gamble and this horse has been held up and running shite for ages. The races has run well in has been well up with the pace. We'll know after 10 seconds whether to lay out or get ready for a potential boom.

So, no research yesterday and the results told :)

1.30 - I have Charli Parcs 16/1 Antepost. Hendo reckons best 4yr old he has had and ground will suit. Masterblue Eyes would have beaten him last time out though even if CP didnt fall. MAsterblueeye is big price, but King not having a good week. Hobbs horses not in good nick, so I pass over Defi who hasn't beaten much. JOB won this race last year with a horse that looked impressive and then flopped and then bounced back. Looking at the Juvenile Hurdle on good ground at Fairyhouse he has another in Landofhopeandglory. Beat Bapume and Mega Fortune, although the latter is weighted slightly better now and Elliot is banging them in.

2.10 - NorthHill gone up 8lbs which is a bit much but place is a mimimum. Ivanovich Gorbatov has stuggled this season but of some interest. Kapstadt looks a huge ew price. CD winner, next two races too soon and last race was clearly a prep. Will come flying home I hope. Wait For Me 4th last year, 4lb lower good chance

5.30 Chelts - Calipto 20/1 e/w looks very well treated based on Arkle Trial couple years back. Tough ask after big break, but ever know. Rock The World 10/1 e/w back again; was hampered last year and still very close.

1.30 - A bit devo about this race as had Neon Wolf 50//1 for the Supreme. Classy horse, not beaten much though. Shattered Love has serious form with Airlie Beach and Let's Dance and after the treble yesterday 16/1 e/w must be value

1.30 - Sure Melon will meet the hype, but last years Champion Bumper winner gets the C&D festival form tick. Slightly lacking on soft ground behind Moon Racer who is prominent in Champion Hurdle market. Twiston stable in shocking form though. High Bridge interesting outsider.

2.50 - Singlefarmpayment has obvious chances, but maybe slightly high in the weights now. Be surprised if not in top 4 though. Druid Nephew back on winning C&D festival mark. Holywell is dangerously handicapped but out of sorts. A Good Skin down 4lbs from decent festival 2nd last year. Still only 8 and lots of money for this suggests a decent chance. Thought about Vintage Clouds
