4.05 cheltenham - leroy leroy leroy leroy 20/1 ew

All formlines around it suggested is at least half stone ahead of mark. The bees knees may well be further ahead and 7/2 is decent enough. Take it easy 12/1 was tempting too but at the price of 20/1 leroy gets my vote. Obvs i put the crazy tricast on as well

Bets 22/08/2020

1.50 York - Pogo 6/1ew

Imagine Lord Glitters and Zabeel Prince have little improvement left at 7 but are the top two rated with strong course form. So in looking for something to improve passed them I land on Pogo. Same rating as Lord Glitters but looks to be still improving. Won a solid C2 handicap at the festival last year and latest pitched into a G1 following a Listed romp. A step back to G3 must be well withing reach with Moore booked

 2.05 Sandown - New Chapter 4/1

Won very easily when short of room last time out. Looks ahead of mark on handicap debut.

2.25 York - Favourite Moon 10/3

I just can't get away from these Haggas runners. The form of that Haydock race is rock solid.

2.40 Sandown - Engimatic 7/1ew

Few insterestng formlines here, but Engimatic came from last to first last time out with something to spare and has won a C2 Handicap of new mark before. James DOyle has been booked to make sure :)

3.00 York - Threat 17/2ew. One Master/Threat Rfc 25/1

Given how much am all over Haggas I need to find one to beat. Probably the worst idea to get one of the best 7f speacialists beat, but if Threat bounces back to form has a serious chance of doing it. Gets the 3year old allowance,  and won the Grimrack last year, a G2 winner and also won over 7f.

3.15 Sandown - Sea Trout Reach 11/1ew

Another Haggas horse who looks well handicapped over a mile.

3.40 York - Ranch Hand 20/1ew

Wouldn't get carried away with this one, but given last effort over C&D could be really well handicapped. Ive backed this many times thinking it is and not been right, but maybe today is the day.

4.40 York -  SInjari 4/1, Maydanny/Sinjarri Rfc 20/1

Was trying to hard to find something to beat Maydanny, but even an 11lb rise might not stop this tank. Assume if MJ thought had blown mark would have put him in a pattern race. Given Dark JEdi franked the form of Sinjarri may as well keep to the Haggas theme. Bit lame this bet but hey ho

5.10 York - Samper Seven 6/1, Illusionist 25/1ew

Samper Svern has best jockey and won well over C&D. At a bigger price Illsionist was a very good 2 yr old and ran well in couple decent handicaps. Edged down the weights and could pop up at t biggie

Bets 21/08/2020

Well if the PnL was running would be a laughing after landed a 420/1 treble yesterday. Will prob be a whitewash today then :)

BTW Ranch Hand for the Ebor 20/1 is my current thinking....

York 1.45 - Dark Jedi 7/1ew, Entangling 12/1ew rfc 75/1

Zabeel was a crossbar horse at Goodwood but step up in trip now and not sure. Alfaatik is well handicapped for sure but been off for a while and Gosden says will need the run. Sure that's his way of saying will win. Dark Jedi ran a blinder in the Johns Smith and the step up is sure to suit. A 4 year old improver with good form in the book. I'm trying very hard to avoid 2 picks in a race but Entangling looks really well handicapped here. The form with SKy Defender is really strong and its last run in a list race with horses all 100+ shows on paper it is.

York 2.45 - Yazaman 9/2ew

Tough race

York 4.15 - First Kingdom 8/1ew

Chamade landed me a solid 22/1 at Goodwood and whilst could go in again I think First Kingdom looks better handicapped. Was only 1 length behind Alpinstna in last race who finished a honourable second behind Love yesterday.

York 4.50 - Cold Front 8/1ew

Looks well handicapped. Raaed bolted up next time out, Man of PRomise storng form with Mums TIpple and Meraas is 100+, etc

Thursday 20 August 2020

Bets 20/08/2020

York 1.45 - Hala Hala Hala 10/1ew

I don;'t like the Queen Mary form and think the Santosha formline is the one to go with. On My Way looks a potentially big price as expect a big improvement on only 3rd run. HHH gave first run to Santashop last time out so maybe with some BUick Magic can turn the tables? Thought about Serathe but is distnace right?

York 2.15 - Happy Romance 5/1ew

Shouldnt be betting in this, but looked decent last time out.

York 2.45 - Mutamassik 16/1ew, Shelir 25/1ew

All my cliff horses are in this race, so just backing them blindly even though I've backed Sir Busker antepost and everyone saying Top Rank is group horse in a handicap. They both ran really well at Ascot and so are well handicapped just need the right conditions, which I don't know but here's hoping it's today

York 3.45 - Gold Wand 9/2 ew

3rd time in a row am backing this. 3rd time lucky?

York 4.20 - Ataser 12/1 ew

Mark of Man was a decent winner for me at Goodwood and wouldnt be surprised if won again. I was really keen on Ataser last time and was backed from 7s into 5/2 before beaten by LIne of Depature. I want to give this one more shot.

York 4.50 - Never in Paris 25/1ew

Bit right field here. Ran a blinder on debut and did well enough in the super sprint considering experience. Looks a bit lazy and needs kicking along to get into top gear. Travels as if an extra furlong will help and perhaps this will give more time to find rythmn and go on to get head in front again.

Wednesday 19 August 2020

Bets 19/08/2020

PnL is no longer. I just don't have time. Maybe when all 3 kids are in school :/

Who knows what the weather is going to do today. I'm plumping for goodish ground until around 3/4pm when the rain starts.

York 1.45 - A Momentofmadness 20/1ew (NR), Arecibo 15/2ew

Perhaps A Momentofmadness is being aimed at the Portland but I'm convinced is now well enough handicapped to win this today. It's a more valuable race and I so I just hope the ground is quick enough after all the rain merkage. Buick will probably try to make all which is a tough ask but has a chance. The other I like is Arecibo. Very similar formlines to A Momentofmadness and if Danny keeps closer to the pace this time has a huge chance.

York 2.15 - Cloudbridge 6/4

York 2.45 - Mogul 2/1

Mogul was unlucky not to finish closer to Pyledriver in the King Edward and with a 3lb pull I can't see Pyledriver keeping the placings. He looked hardwork at Goodwood but actually when Ryan really hit the button he flew home comfortably so don;t think anything should turn the tables from that race. I have Darain 33/1 for the Leger and this is a classic Gosden move chucking a C5 winner into a G2. Bit of coin toss?

York 3.45 - Make My Day 5/1 ew, Blakeney Point 22/1ew, 100/1 rfc

Make My Day hasn't run the distance but nothing abiout last two races suggests it won't. The last race was a real grind over much shorter after the Al M was 4 lenghts clear a few furlongs out.

Blakeney Point was 10th in this race last year and looked a huge threat before hanging. Was only 5lenghts behind the winner and is 5lbs lower now. Comes here is decent form after winning a hurdles race by 11lenghts.

York 4.20 - Dancing Inthestreet 5/2

Keep Busy is clearly well handicapped after winning at Hamilton. However Dancinginthestreet is surely better handicapped if you watch the Ascot race back. Was last off bridle and switched multiple times before flying home. The other Haggas nag looks a danger but I'm assuming Marquand has picked this so will stay on here. Sampers Seven looks a decent ew price here but a 10lb rise in a higher grade needs to prove it, so will stick with the fave

York 4.50 - Cairn Island 5/1ew

Cairn Island looks well handicapped on handicap debut. Pure Dreamer is a threat.

Sunday 9 August 2020

Bets 10/08/2020

 5.30 Chester - Asdaa 10/1 £15ew

Will end up being my cliff horse but still convinced form from few races ago is decent. Draw was bad at Gooodwood and was hampered so was a non trier. Chester draw 1 perfect for making all which is the style best suited to Asdaa.

Bets 09/09/2020

Bets 08/08/2020 - ~The P&L Tracker is back

I've spent a whack of time trying to get back to the form that got be banned. I haven't fully got there but I have assessed which races I excel in. I had a decent Goodwood so the selective punting worked well enough for me...

1.15 Ascot - Ataser 6/1 £10 ew

I've never heard of T J Kent, but the nag ran pretty well in both races and looks an improver on a decent starting mark.

1.50 Ascot - Highland Dress 11/2 £10 ew

Chil Chil could be anything and given Balding form may well bolt up. However Highland Dress arguably has the best Ascot handicap on show for the season. At Newmarket had to burn early speed and lost shoe last race so can be forgiven. Woven is potentially a big ew too.

2.05 Haydock - Final Song 7/1 £10 ew

Comvinced 7f decent ground it the optimum trip. Decent enough run in the guineas over a trip too far and we know how good Love is. Will give excuses for soft ground and a tough race for a 3yr old at Haydock last time out, but did look a tad unlucky. Back down in grade must have an ew shout.

2,25 Ascot - Shelir £20 10/3

Have been tracking this for a while. Was hoping for a ew price. It's pretty short but fook it. Ran well in the Buckingham from bad draw and again last time out from a poor draw and was slightly hampered.

3.00 Ascot - Red Force One £10 13/2 ew

Get 2m over hurdles so flat wont be an issue. Is probably a 135 horse over hurdles so running of 87 on the flat is decent. Gets another 3lb claim so solid ew

3.35 Ascot - Look Closely £10 9/2 ew

I toyed with Jermiah a lot but in the end went for the 4 year old improver who bagged me a decent 11/1 last time out. C&D winner eased down last time when carrying 9/12

3.50 Haydock - Arablet 13/2 £10 ew

Breathe of Air looked decent when beat Blue Mist but can't explain next two flops. Arablet is down is grade after a decent run from bad draw and fluffed start at Ascot. Reckon the handicapper has seen something as not dropped it many pounds.

£2.50 ew seven fold Total £5

50p five folds and six folds Total £14

Ataser, Red Force One, Arablet £2.50 ew trxie Total £20

Bets 01/08/2020 - Glorious Goodwood Day 5

1.50 - Tommy G 4/1 ew

Loves this race. Prompting form shown today. SBS booked. Plum draw.

3.35 - Kimifive 12/1 ew, Mermaas 13/2 ew + rfc

Been tracking Kimi for a while and was hoping to see it well drawn in this race. It is and also with a decent claim, but Mermaas is surely a pattern horse in a handicap?

4.10 - Cold Front 11/2 ew

Looks well handicapped.

Wednesday 29 July 2020

Bets 30/07/2020 - Glorious Goodwood Day 3

1.10 - Show Me Show Me 10/1 ew, saver on Flippa Stripper 16/1ew and rfc :)

Show Me Show Me ran a blinder behind Liberty Beach over C&D in the Molecolmb last year. Always seems to fluff start and likes to come from behind and given drawn 1 that could be an issue. That said pieces on today and if gets the breaks could come flying home. I think Caspian Queen would beat Electirc Lady and and Spanish Angel in a rerun given was hampered start and was then flying home. Moore has been booked so must fancy it. I just don't know if the formline is strong enough? Then there's Flippa the Stripper. Ran over C&D in the conditions race same day as Show Me Show Me. The races times were similar and also flopped the start and came home strongly.

Show Me Show Me and Flippa The Stripper neck and neck here :)

Show Me Show Me in first time pieces to fly home given the Liberty Beach form was better. Hills says Stripper needs 6f. If he wrong I be angry :)

1.45 - Zabeel Champion 11/2 ew

2.15 - Yazaman 9/4

3.15 - Magic Wand 11/2 ew

3.45 - Mark of the Man 12/1 ew

4.55 - Winter Power 4/5

Tuesday 28 July 2020

Bets 29/07/2020 - Glorious Goodwood Day 2

Goodwood 1.10 - Chamade 10/1ew

If every horse ran to form at York then Lake Lucerne is absolutley chucked in here, but I have doubts about a couple of them and York is also a tricky marker.

Chamade's form could not have worked out better and not just with Franconia winning listed race but horse around also doing well in pattern class.

I'm posting this before get a chance to see how Be more form works out so a risk.

Goodwood 1.45 - Rochester House 10/1 ew

Watching the Ascot Stakes back the horse to take out of it was Rochester House who came from way too far back to rapidly close on the leaders. Given it's an MJ nag hopefully can't be too far off.

Goodwood 3.15 - Vatican City 14/1 ew

If you watch the Irish 2k back Siskin and Vatican CIty were both has awful passages. Siskin got out before Vatican but when Vatican got out it picked up very well and I can't believe is 14/1 vs Siskins 9/4. Madness. Or maybe I am. However the real problem is we have the Queen Anne winner, the Summer Mile winner, the UK and Irish 2k winners here and I can't work out which form line is the best. Given Lope Y nearly won the Jean Prat hoping the Irish 2k form is solid and therefore Vatican City is the value.

Goodwood 4.20 - Asdaa 20/1 ew

On my tracker since Jack's Point won at Ascot. Would have won the race at Doncaster if over 7f and last time wouldn't settle and was too far wide. Time to win! Please :)

Bets 28/07/2020 - Glorious Goodwood Day 1

A lot of bad luck occurs at Goodwood. Remember last year about 12 or my 20 picks were hampered/blocked in etc. Fuming :) Let's see if can beat 12 this year :)

1.10 Goodwood - Vividly 9/1 ew

Course winner. Ran in decent handicap last time out when back from a break and Buick wins a lot round here. I'd ignore Oh So Sharp stakes as lost a shoe.

Separatle looks a huge danger at 16s, but trying to stick to 1 ng per race given how much carnage occurs at Goodwood.

1.45 Goodwood - Tinandali 13/2 ew

Cape Cavalli is obviously well handicapped and Crisford has sent out 4 winners from last 4 runners. He is a C&D winner and Look Closely proved at weekend form is decent enough. I have Maydanny down as a winner waiting to happen but I have to avoid runners who've not proven the distance. Instead Tinandali was majorly hampered last time out before flying home.

2.15 Goodwood - Battleground 6/4 & 3.15 Goodwood - Stradivairus 8/13 Double

2.45 Goodwood - Duke of Hazard 6/1 ew

Can Sir Dancelot make it 3 in a row? Hmm. Duke of Hazzard is unbeaten at Goodwood and trainer is very bullish. D'bai may have got closer to winning this last year with a better run but always looks a bit keen to me and Space Blues on form should beat it. Interesting Space Blues skipped Ascot for this race and Safe Voyage looks a threat too. Tough one to call.

3.45 Goodwood - Celsius 3/1

Going to be some serious pace in this race and maybe could be set up for a horse who sits just behind the pace? I really didnt want to back the favourite in this, but given a C&D winner, on the upgrade who will come from behind must have a decent chance. I think I would have gone with Ornate otherwise.

4.55 Goodwood - Tulip Fields 9/2 ew

Course winner who romped it's last handicap over 1m4f.

6.45 Galway  - Colfer Me 40/1 ew

Given was second in Irish Licoln ahead of some of these, price makes no sense. Lost 5 /6 lenghts at start of last race so add that on and again would have finished ahead of many of these. Condon hitting winners and Lee one of the better jockeys aroudn Galway.

Saturday 25 July 2020

Bets 25/07/2020

Ascot 1.50 - How do you handle the Coventry form when a 150/1 shot won it and 2nd place got caked next time out. Probably ignore it? I don't think we often see Hannon winners first time out, and given Dobbs was saying one of the best two year olds in the yard Chindit got to be worth a bet

Chindit 8/1 ew
---

Ascot 2.25 - I'd defo back Shelir if it weren't for the draw here. Instead I'm backing Mutamaasik. I'm convinced would have won the Buckingham if was better drawn and I was really keen on it last time out. Instead the horse I thought it would turn the tables on won, so I know the form stands solid but just can't work out why was a total flop last time out especially as was a C&D winner. I have to assume is nothing wrong with the horse and it's lining up to try and win and if it does then it should go bloody close based on formlines.

Mutamaasik 8/1 ew
---

Ascot 4.10 - Western Duke won this last year off 1lb higher. No reason why couldn;'t reproduce that form to win. Tom Marquand has been booked so hoping Williams fancies it too. I do worry that Look Closely is well handicapped and bounces back but have to trust has trained or assume just doesn't like the track at Newmarket

Western Duke 14/1 ew

Small saver on Look Closely 11/1ew

York 3.15 - Solid enough C&D winner last time.

Orbaan 5/1 ew

Walked home in the last race over C&D. Really. Walked home.

Windor 1.00 - Zaamni 11/10

Form is rock solid

Windsor 1.35 - Open Wide 7/1

Form of stable is dire. Everything else is set up. C&D winner. Form with Khadeem, Oxted. Moore booked. Down a few lbs.

2.10 Windsor - Nugget 9/4

Well in back over a mile. Decent enough form

Ayr 3.20 - Le Revuer 11/10

A standard coupon buster :) Ahead of mark, stable in form, trainer solid record at the course and given was hanging all over the shot must assume more improvement to come.

4.10 Windor - Inovled 9/4

Looks well in still and Moore takes the ride.

Ascot 1.30 - Baseem 6/1

Weigthed to reverse witrh Apparate. Dane totally blew his handicap mark at Doncaster but I still think given was not settled last time out and some natural progression from 3 to 4 years old this one can win.

I did look very closely at Island Brave, Platitude and Emenem at bigger prices.

---
Ascot 2.05 - Manaabit 5/1

Won well enough last time out an Haggas farms this race so assuming been targetted at it/

---
Ascot 3.15 - Skardu 15/2

This is the round mile so it will play out differently to the straight mile (I think). Skardu frequently hits the frame in G1s and so this is a step down in class and last time over C&D ran very well.

---
Ascot 3.50 - Stone of Destiny 10/1

C&D winner, knocking at the door.

Update 1.00am.

Well not only can I not pick a winner, I can't even pick a horse that will run in a race! 2 NRs tomorrow so couple more picks:

5.40 Mussleborough - Majestic Stone 7/2

8.05 Bath - Rosie Royale 10/1

3.00 Newmarket - Star of The East 8/1

-----

12.45 Newmarket - East Street Revue 13/2 (NR)

Did well to finish where it did last time out given all the issues. C&D winner for inform trainer.

---

1.50 Newmarket - Fighting Temerriar 8/1

C&D winner. Wins a lot this time of year. Won off 89 before so still hopefully scope to hit those heights again

---

3.35 Newmarket - Global Storm 6/1

Decent handicap form. Assume Buick chose this over other Appleby nag. Wouldnt surprise me to see a 1-2 Appebly combo.

---

4.10 Newmarket 4.10 - Magic Wand 5/1 (NR)

Underrated weapon over 1m. One Master is a 7f specialist and Terebellum yes ran a cracker

Bets 08/07/2020

Another sound day yesterday and a few more tickboxes closer to being deleted and added. I'm going wild today with trying new things again so don't get carried away.

12.35 Ripon - Was running in the Lily Agnes as a 2 year old. Got a low mark and could make all from decent draw.

Iva Relfection 15/2

2.10 Ripon - Hmm. A listed winner, beating a 101 rated horse by 3 lengths. C&D winner. Concern is that won'tr get an uncontested lead upfront as that make be the demise today.

Sameem 3/1

2.40 Ripon - Potentially coming back to form with a solid looking CD profile.

Alfred Richardson 9/1

3.40 Ripon - Another who could make all?

Out of Breathe 6/1

5.10 Newbury - All form lines point to the Albany but it's tight and impossible to account for improvement unless you know something. The Cox nag is another clear danger.

Ocean Eyes 4/1

6.10 Newbury - Seriously competitive. Anyone betting in this race is a moron. I am so it's fine. :) So many of these have the creds to win.

First pick is Hlitarian 10/1 followed by Mars Landing 12/1.

6.40 Newbury - I fancied Purgatory in this, until I saw Medieval. I was not happy about how this was ridden on Derby day as really fancied it to place at least. Now a drop in class and should be winning this. Means backing two again. I lasted 2 days only backing 1 in each race.

Purgartory 10/1
Medieavla 3/1

8.10 Newbury - Majestic Noor 13/8

8.40 Newbury - The Fiddler 7/1

Think I've watched more video form in the last 5 days than have in the last year. Looks like it's making a difference but of course could be fluke. I'm statistically due some winners! Still trying tickboxes out so don't blame if if some a very wayward.

Pontefract 12.15 - A couple of serious nags on paper in this. I won't bet (though said that yesterday and still bet on the 25/1 winner!) , Luck on Sunday at 12's may be interesting. Given cost 2m and quoted to have huge potential may well be worth an ew. Noonday Gun also on paper very strong but I like to wait for Hannon runners to have couple runs under belt. The Stoute Nag has most experience and ought to win. Hoping see something have decent out of this race.

Pontefract 12.45 - Zlatan 8/1

Pontefract 1.15 - Reviette 8/1

Pontefracrt 1.50 - Rayong 13/8 finished best of those drawn wrong side in a decent enough 3yr RA HC. Should hold many of these on that formline.

Pontefract 2.20 - Rfc Destropyer/KEswick 50/1

Pontefract 2.50 - Angels Whisper still well in 5/4

Pontefract 3.20 - Audyra 11/2

Pontefract 3.55 - Summergand 5/4 ought to be a penalty kick this with the solid Ascot form

Leicester 5.10 - Clever Candy 11/4. CD winner unlucky last two races

Leicester 7.45 - A Star Above 5/4

Could have been a stonker yesterday./ Two very very very very close 2nds. If one would have landed at 9/2 or 13/2 quad would have paid 300/1 or 450/1 respectively. 2250/1 for the 5 five fold. Either way didn't happen, so meh.

Dire racing today.

12.40 Ayr - Selected 5/2

1.40 Ayr - Historically these are the races I get sucked into and break my big accas. If I can't pick between horses on a shortlist am not going to punt anymore unless a big handicap at a big meeting. Couldnt pick between Musicka, John K and Flying P, so leaving alone. There is the 200/1 tricast though. Ha!

2.45 Ayr - Three Coins looks a crazy price at 25s based on it's novice win. The fact was thrown into a listed race next must mean well thought of. Interesting the other Fahey runner is a NR. Hmm. This goes back to how I've been betting over last couple years again with major merkage. So will leave :(

3.15 Ayr - Comptons Finale 2/1

4.40 Windsor - Caroline Dale 4/5

5.05 Uttoexter - Miss Farage 7/4

7.15 Windsor - Again I'd punt on Mr Wilton at 16s but doesnt tick the boxes anymore. ARGH. Discipline is tough.

8.00 Thirsk - Rosa Gold 7/4

Still soul searching to find the former glory days, so some random nags in here you might think....

12.30 Haydock - Magical Journey 7/2. Formline looks decent.

1.00 Haydock - Snazzy Jazzy 7/4 - Form franked few time already

1.30 Haydock - Monsuier Lambrays 11/1 ew on flatter track will help.

2.40 Haydock - Manuel De Vega 7/4 has beaten key players in this race before and a C&D winner.

3.15 Haydock - Deja 13/2 - Decent Ascot form

3,50 Haydock - Greenside - 11/4.  Decent Ascot run and will like the ground.

Interesting day yesterday. Most flopped and I've noted why. I was a bit inconsistent which why I made my picks yesterday and I ignored two nags for reasons that I picked two others. The two I ignored finished 12/1 placed and 10/1 win... Final Attack at 12/1 nearly saved the day, but again another crap day.

1.00 Haydock - Romped last race so still ahead of mark.

Broughtons Gold 2/1

2.20 Chepstow - Romped by 9 lengths and eased down last time out.

Sir Plato 5/4

2,.50 Chepstow - Romped last race, 5lb penalty but 7lb claim so assume can win again

Queen of Silca 7/4

3.20 Chepstow - C&D winner going the right way

Le Musee 7/4

4.50 Hamilton - Romped last time out.

Dawaaween 6/5

6.00 Wolves -

Harbour Vision 4/1

Bets 02/07/2020

2.10 Bath - C&D winner of 67. Won last time out very well. Has won 3 on the trot before at similar time of the year so hopefully is a similar mood.

Awsaaf 11/8

2.40 Bath - Interesting this nag was raced at Royal Ascot and now in a C5 novice stakes. A penalty kick?

Follow Suit 11/2

5.20 Bath - Should have won last time out, but fluffed the start and a Hannon horse had a 'shock' improvement. Due to go up 6lb so technically 6lb ahead of mark. Mitchell and Varian team up with a 57% SR here at Bath and Varian's last three runners have finished 112 so stable in god nick. Varian also boasts a 50% SR with 3yr old handicaps at Bath. Southern Dancer might be the merkage even if looks impossible on paper.

Rock of Fame 4/5

5.30 Wolves - On second run ran to a RPR of 66, when did not get a clear run. All of the horses in front have run well in handicaps of  marks of 70+. Didn't run any kind of race of Donny despite going off as one of the market leaders so happy to draw a line through it. Back over C&D assuming has improved so could be a ahead of mark.

Gossip 3/1

8.30 Wolves - Kingscote could land something at a big price here. If saves ground with low draw, times the run from back to front well enough and gets the breaks could get this nag into the winners enclosure again. It was flying home last time but took a while to get going after coming round the bend.

Okay. That didn't work. I'll just sleep less and watch video form again. Let's see if makes a difference today :)

Well after preparing some time to watch videos, total sh*te day of racing so just banter punting

3.10 Southwell - Well this popped up on my tracker for years ago! Romped a G3 race down in grade. Yes has been a while bu Johnson likes this horse. Will be targetting it for something valable in which case could do with going up some pounds.

3.10 Southwell Hunters Call 4/1
4.40 Kempton - Bacalitta 11/10
7.15 Kempton - Good Tidings 15/8

Going to mess about a bit again :)

12.30 Doncaster - Digital 7/4 formline looks the best. Victory Hieights was drawn wrong side for Windsor Caslte but was flying home so Digital has decent chance.

2.00 Doncaster - Corinthia Kight 14/1, The Great Heir 7/1. 100/1 rfc :)

3.00 Doncater - Dalaniju 12/1, Cloud Drift 6/1. 70/1 rfc :)

I thought Kimifive was pretty unlucky yesterday.

12.45 Doncaster - Lathom has been turned out very quickly. Surely Midgley wouldnt do it, if didnt fancy chances. Was the last off the bridle at Hamilton, and looked a tad unbalanced and hampered. Last time ran over C&D was effectively 87 with a claimer, but today 78 which would have won him that race where was short of room. Trainer hitting winners as well.

If Laith Alareen is fit, looks a huge outside price at 25/1

Lathom 9/1 ew

1.20 Doncaster - Meade is making good noises about this nag Method and he has booked Ryan Moore.

3.25 Doncaster - Part of me really wants to back Aqua Libre in first time pieces. Carroll must be plotting this horse up for as win at some point. Hills opened at 18/1. B365 at 5/1 but sure sure I can justify it beyond this so no punt.

2.45  Newmarket - Mia Mento needs to get a decent start and if does will have a decent chance.

4.40 - Addratos 20/1

Bets 19/06/2020 - Royal Ascot Day 4

9.45am update:

1.15 - Mighty Spirit ran really well in the Queen Mary despite the draw so we know is well suited to this C&D. Has had a lot of bad luck with all sorts. Finally got given a confidence booster in a lowly grade to get head in front. Have drawn several formlines out and this comes up near the top. Also has second highest top speed rating in the race, a decent claim and on the right side of the draw. Fahey's form has to be a worry, but at 16/1 with 5 places worth a pop. I'm fed up of calling out chucked in horses that are, but don't run to their mark. Clearly Art Power is ahead of mark and will no doubt win as I'm trying to find bigger value :)

Mighty Spirit 16/1 ew 5places

---

1.50 - There is so little formline available just can't bet. The punter in me says hit Mother Earth but I can't put it up without any rationale :)

2.25 - Another race with little form. However what does exist is the Tactical formline line who won the Windsor Castle. Eye of Heaven was the winner that day. Broke the 2year old track record with ease. Could have smashed it, if really given a race. Will it take to soft though? The challenger on 'word' is Golden Pal. Wesley Ward said was his best chance of a winner this week. Will it take to soft though? And then there's the AOB nag. I never get AOB right.

So here's what I'll do.

Eye of Heaven 9/4

Mother Earth/Lipizzaner 17/1 AOB Double
Golden Pal/Flying Aletha 99/1 Ward Double

---

3.00 - Hmm. Elaqarm and Van Dyck are the obvious picks. WIll the ground really go against these high class nags or will they mash through it?

Defoe and Morando are solid C&D winners and look the next obvious picks.

Then there's the more unexposed improvers and seeing as I'm having a below par week anyway, going to take a punt on Hamish. Bolted up with top weights at York and travlelled as the likley winner last time out, but just couldnt pick up on very heavy ground but regasrdless was a massive step up again. Another massive step up with see this go really close (I hope).

Hamish 15/2 ew

---

3.35 - The Earthlight form is some of the best in Europe over 6f, so Golden Horde must have a huge chance today based on that alone. There are two many threats to list out so will need to be ew play

Goldern Horde 5/1 ew

---

4.10 - Surely can;t bet on a race where none have run the distance.

----

4.40 - Indianaplois won C&D with a lot more ease than result shows. Jockey was in full control and was just pushed out. Then followed up with another decent handicap win on heavy ground. GIven is in good form, horse has had a blow out and the wide draw in not a huge negative as likes to be held up so can be edge out to power home late.

Westend Charmer is another that looks chucked in but that's not workd out well for me this week. If El Misk and Medal Winner take to the ground they are both ahead of mark so have chances.

Indianapolis 10/1 ew

Art Power / Westend Charmer Chucked In Double 17/1

Bets 18/06/2020 - Royal Ascot Day 3

12.45pm update. All done. Rain will cause carnage so not going in hard....

1.15 - Down to four. Ya Hayati is potentially well handicapped back on turf but is such a big drifter on the market I guess I need to be weary? Acquitted has some seriously decent formlines with English King who is 4/1 for the Derby and Palace Pier who is 4/1 for St James on Saturday. However, has not run the distance and Tritionic beat this nag of same weights by 4 lenghts. Clearly doesn't take into account improvement and Acquitted has a run under belt vs Tritonic who does not. Tritonic has also not run the distance, but was bought for hurdling and think the dip killed him at Newmarket more than anything else. My main pick though has to be Maori Knight. Is 6lb well in on offical ratings, has race fitness, has a feather weight and we know gets the distnace.

1st - Maori Knight - 8/1
2nd - Tetronic 9/1

--

1.50 - Dubai Warrior looked decent last time out but has a 5lb penalty for it. Monarchs Glen won this race for Gosden with a penalty but there were not the likes of Fox Tal and Sir Dragonet in it. Sir Dragonet is the higest rated and whilst has not won at 10f if AOB thought it could not win would have chucked more darts in here and I'd hope change distance again. It's the highest rated in race and I think the best chance. Fox Tal maybe didnt make the distace over C&D on soft ground. Mountain Angel was the bane of my punting life couple years ago and goes well fresh.  King Ottokar might be a nice ew play at 4 places given C&D form from last years meeting.I could go on, but bored and ultimately we have the closet thing to a G1 winner in Sir Dragonet being persisted by with AOB at Royal Ascot and is the highest rated.

Sir Dragonet 5/2

--

2.25 - Mr Snowden at 50/1 might be fun to follow each way given beat a Gosden hotpot, a lot easier than the result shows, who is running today, but this is tough and I cant choose between Monarch of Eygpot, Celestim, Final Song and King  Leonidas.

King Leo looks really good, but is not experienced and very short in the betting. Hmm. Given Final Song is a Course winner, soft ground winner and distance winner will plump here. Monarch of Egypt the other.

Final Song 8/1 ew
Monarch of Egypt 4/1

--

3.00 - First Phophet 8/1 ew

--

3.35 - Take on Strady or not?  I've tried to may times for the value even though I know is futile so anything has to be an ew play.

It's tough, let's be fair. Erm.Cross Counter, Technical and Moonlight Spirit ought to be fighting it out for places. Technicain wants it very soft. Will it get thast soft? Moonlight wants it faster. Cross Counter an interupted prep. So, if one of these flops, at a huge 33/1 ew might be worth backing Mekong for place money. Fluffed start in the Long Distnace Cup and if not for that could have nabbed 3rd perhaps. The price is surely because don't know if stays?

Mekong 33/1 ew

4.10 - Finest Sound is chucked in assuming race does not come too soon. Bolted p over 5 lengths and only has a 5lb penalty. Plum draw, better win :)

Finest Sound 6/1

---

4.40 - How is African Dream only rated 80? Last race giving 7lb ran a 106 rated horse close.

Looks like has 2 stone in hand!

Decent draw and Gosden still on money.

African Dream 5/2! Be surprised if doesn't go off closer to odds on.

Tuesday 16 June 2020

Bets 17/06/2020 - Royal Ascot Day 2

11am update - All done. Good luck folks

Ascot 1.15 - Ouzo has the draw. Should have won last race but now goes off same mark. Clearly race fit for that run. Moore onboard so obvious why the fave.

If Maydanny was drawn on the other side would be all over it as looks chucked in. Interesting the other MJ nag, Asdaa, is a NR. Given the form worked out massively yesterday a shame not to watch it run. Will be either the draw so saving for another day or perhaps they really fancy Maydanny.

Red Bond may well make all and not be caught. Darrik form is strong as Vitralite keeps it there depeite Darrik flop yesterday I assume because of turf like I was worried about.

1st - Ouzo - 6/1
2nd - Red Bond 22/1 ew

Ascot 1.50 - No bet

Ascot 2.25 - This is a risk, but given Bright Melody was close enough to Piledriver who won yesterday could be really well handicapped. The risk is the inexperience and fact not run on turf, but at 8/1 willing to take the punt. Had a very slow start, looked green, came wide, but once got the hang of it started to pick up very well. Kipps is 5lb ahead of mark

1st - Bright Melody - 8/1
2nd - Kipps 4/1

Ascot 3.00 - Addeybb will surely need it softer than it will be which leaves Japan 6lb clear of anything else. Romped the King Edward Stakes over 12f, but then won the Juddmonte over 10f so distance not a challenge. Only 4years old so will no doubt have improved and AOB only chucks one dart so confidence must be high.

1st - Japan 6/5
2nd Addeyb 4/1

Ascot 3.35 - Landed this with Afaak last year and reckon he can again. Effectively the same mark with the 3lb claim. Drawn well.  Won this last year when first run of season as well so goes well fresh. Dark Vision was my cliff horse last year so have to have a small saver

1st - Afaak 12/1 ew (7 places with Skybet)
2nd - Dark Vision 10/1

Ascot 4.10 - Sticking with high draw but not finding too much. Wesley Ward says Sheriff Bianco wil be twice as good on turf which sounds like subtle bullishness. Watching the race looks the better of the runners too.

Sheriff Bianco 7/1 ew

Ascot 4.40 - Ranch Hand if improved over break has a strong hand, but perhaps conditions and track were perfect at Haydock when won so well. Has been really well backed in the market as well. Fujairia Prince wasn't unlucky not to win the DUke of Edinburgh last year, but likley step up will suit but you'd have to take a punt on that. I have four on the shortlist still. Collide was tanking through the race where it beat Land of Oz who marginally franked the form with effort yesterday but now has a 5lb penalty. Selino totally romped a field last time out so could be anything of this mark. If Hochfiled runs to best is well handicapped and Ernesto could be well handicapped. Based on that German race could be a 110 horse although been gelded since and maybe not worth the punt at this stage.

Given Land of Oz didnt fully frank the form and given Qatar Racing just bought Selino who looks totally unexposed that's where I head.

1st - Selino 10/1 ew
2nd - Ranch Hand 4/1

Berlin Tango/ Rand Hand Double worth a couple coins

Bets16/06/2020 - Royal Ascot Day 1

Will be tough this year without the usual prep races to assess winners and losers but let's see what happens:

Ascot 1.15 - Daarik is most likely to be the group horse in a handicap but I always find it hard backing horses like this with no turf form of value. None stand out massively for me in this race.
Kaeso is interesting because of the C& near win. Greenside may be the vsalue bet in this race.

I think/I hope drawn well. Decent C&D form. Goes okay fresh. Decent claimer.

Daarik  4/1
Greenside 18/1  e/w 6places

Ascot 1.50 - Terebellum looks decent but can't understand the drop in trip at this stage. Space Traveller ran well in the Breeders Juvenile Turf, but most likely held by Cirrus Maximus. Maries Diamond romped last time out but always runs well at the Rowley and the one time at Ascot no so well. I've still got many on the shortlist for this :(  Plumatic is probably a 118-120 horse, given formlines with Expert Eye and Lightening Spear. Duke of Hazzard improving at a rate of knots. Billesdon the 1k winner always a underrated and fnally AOB's Circus. Hmm

Circus Maximum 9/2
Duke of Hazard 18/1 ew 5 places

Ascot 2.25 - Hmm. Not one to go overboard on. Frankly Darling as it all on paper so why not. I fancied Trefoil in last race so no doubt will show me up this time :)

Franky Darling 6/4

Ascot 3.00 - No bet

Ascot 3.35  - Battash goes well fresh and whilst beaten in this by Blue Point last year on ratings is very far ahead of the pack. Liberty Beach is very interesting but maybe too tough for a 3year old running again after only 9 days

Battash 10/11 3pts win

Ascot 4.10 - Posted has a real issue with starts. If it breaks level could be a huge ew price to play with. Queen Power coming back in trip is odd, even if a CD winner.

It's a tough one. Jubiloso has already finished 3rd in a g3 which is decent for a stoute 3 year old. Probably should have done better in the Oak Tree Stakes. I think the straight mile will help her get to top speed and given the usual stoute 3 to 4 year old improvment I hope she can prevail. I assume they'd not run her in a race like this if feet problems were not sorted?

Nazeef the clear danger

Jubilsos 3/1

Ascot 4.40 - I remember landing this race couple of years ago with Lagostovegas and wasn't sure it would catch Dubawi Fifty. It did but I hope this time DB will make all and go very very close and nothing will catch it this time :)

The two Nicholls nags could well be chucked in. Given San Benedeto is a 154 rated jumper running of  mark of 85 this could be a total shoe in. Distance not an issue. Has won on the ground and the course in previous years. Nicholls doing well enough so this has to be another solid ew.

Verdana Blue is an obvious favourite here and probably worth hitting in an acca, but given not run the distance has to be on faith (or insider) neither of which I have :) Land of Oz looks a decent but I'll wait till gets bit more experience under belt. Could win based on progressive profile but I'll wait.

Dubawi Fifty 12/1 ew 6places
San Benedeto 28/1 ew 6 places

Bets 13/03/2020 Chelts Day 4

I can find the winner of the Pertemps in Jan but then for some reason change my mind on the day. I was all over Samcro then changed my mind last minute! :) Ah well. Very short of time today

1.30 JCB - This will be a serious race. Some high class unbeaten but not really tested nags. I've watched them all run. Allmankind could grind them to the ground but he wont get his own way upfront. Sol looked visually the best I think, but partly Im going to rely on the BHA who've rated Solo as 157, which is seriously high post a few races. Solo is also the shotest for the QM next year. Nicholls compared Solo to Master Minded........

Solo 4/1

2.10 - Doesn't get easier. Mohasayed would have won the race on paper last year at the weights. Had a wind op so a risk now. Stolen Silver ran well against Chantry house and is G2 winner so going with this.

Stolen Silver 12/1

Bets 12/03/2020 - Chelts Day 3

Well, I can't quibble about landing a 70/1 forecast but I'm still down for the week :)

1.30 Marsh - I was really keen on Samcro for a while, but Faugheen absolutely hammered Samcro so would be mad not to side with Faugheen. Itchy Feet looks a huge threat mind and rated 155 at the age of 6 based on last performance could easily beat the oldboy. Might be worth a consideration for a doble with Champagne Platium later on card as a formline double. Given Eassygame did not frank the form is Faugheen as good as another potenial improver in Mister Fisher. He absolutley flew up the hill in the Rymans chase here in Dec and again given his age has surely got more in the tank.

Mister Fisher 6/1 1pt ew

Should get ma $ back if Faugheen raises the roof.

2.10 Pertemps - This one is tough.

Stoney Mountain looks very interesting as a plot as won very weell in Styerrs Handciaps and did all that was needed to qualify for this race and looked to be travelling better than Sire Du Berlais but have SDB 8/1 AP. Sunset Showdown could be a huge price but the drift is worrying. But rellly the Storyteller looks totally chucked in based on chase mark

Ballymore 1.30 - Envoi Allen. Festival winner, G1 winner, solid.
Cross Country 4.10 - Tiger Roll, solid.

Envoi Allen / Tiger Roll 2pt double 9/4

----

RSA 2.10 - Minella Indo won the Albert Barlett last year, has taken to chasing well enough and De Brom is flying right now, but whilst was probably a better hurdler than Allaho, Allaho hit a RPR of 164 last time, 15lb more than Minella.

The form of Pym shouldnt be underestimated but can only really punt one in this given the price but I would have backed Easy Game given nely collared Faugheen and has beaten Alloha, but not over 3m which the neg.

Alloha 7/2 2pts

---

Coral Cup 2.50 - Dame bolted up last time and still has lbs in hand, has course form, goes on soft so nothing not to like. I'd back Franco if had won as the trip, but this is a step up. Alfa Mix looks solid and was 18 odd lenghts ahead of 3rd in last race which has decent look to it, but then by that assessment Kilenora  at a huge price with 7lb claim must have a better chance? Not sure after poorish G2 run. Champagne a small ew cahnce maybe but cant tell if  well handicapped or not as whilst Thyme Hill form is good not sure if has progressed as much. Black Tears looks a decent ew to me. Ran well at festival last year and looks like on a decent mark.

5.30 Bumper - Not sure I've ever won a bumper at Chelts! All paper says the fave Appreciate it, is the winner?

Well I have no idea really so will hit the Mullins outsider like when Relegate won couple years back and Darling Daughter as Oneil says she on the best Elliott nag

Bets 10/03/2020 - Chelts 2020 Day 1

1.30 Supreme - I have Chantry House Antepost @ 40/1 and I wouldnt stop anyone from punting it given the solid C&D win. The only neg is Hendo's record in the race and given he has chucked 3 nags at the race suspect he not fully confident.

Asterion Forlonge is the obvious fave and must go in a fave acca, but doesn't feel like value. I don't like nags dropping down in trip and Shishkin has not beaten anything of value.

Fiddlerontheroof smashed the Tolworth and Abacardabras the Paddy Power and I can't decide between them.

Fiddlerontheroof 6/1 1pt
Abracabras 11/2 1pt

rfc  35/1 0.25pts = 0.5pt

-----

2.10 Arkle - Notebook holds the cards surely? Watching videos can't see ow Fakir can turn the tables on Notebook but more likley Cash Back could especially as Mullins farms this race with French nags.

Rouge Vif is proabably a 160 rated horse given what I've seen but Im worried about the ground and Cheltenham based on last run here. Hmm.

I like strong stayers in the Arkle and Fakir and Brewingupastorm tick those boxes. I'm torn between them but Fakir was a big let down at the festival or me last year so preferance is for Brew but I'm backing both :)

Brewinupastorm 11/2 1pt
Fakir D'O 4/1 1pt

rfc  25/1 0.25pts = 0.5pt

-----

2.50 Ultima - Where to start. Actival is too big for me. Ran well in this last year and lost a shoe and now 6lb lower. Connections ran him in a G2 last time out so they are surely hopeful the nag has improved and trainer in decent nick.

Altanta Blaze was battling out with Le Bruil last year at the festival before falling and I think was travlleing well, so keen to back this again as a decent previous festival performer. Had wind surgey so it's an extra gamble but at the price worth it

Actival 28/1 0.5pts ew
Altanta BLaze 33/1 0.5pt ew

rfc 720/1 0.25pts = 0.5pt

----

3.30 Champion - I have Call Me Lord @33/1 and still hope has a decent chance with the course form against him. Eptante looks to prefer a flatter track so I will dodge. Pentland well beaten by Call Me Lord.

Ballyandy could have beaten Call Me Lord with a more prominent ride as he flew up the hill and looks some ew value her. Darver Star ran a blinder against Envoi Allen and nealry nabbed Honeysuckle when 7lb higher so again some solid ew value.

Ballyandy 22/1 0.5pt ew
Darver Star 12/1 0.5 ew

rfc 230/1 0.25pts = 0.5pt

----

4.10 Close Brothers - Benie should not be beaten but not playing at the prices

-----

4.50 Northern Trust - Espoir Du Guye is still well handicapped and fomr has been franked. Williams nags love the deep ground so ought to see this go close

Whatmore interests me. Daly in decent form. I think has decent handcap form and the G2 before this was hampered so better than his current mark.

Espoir Du Guye 7/1 1pt
Whatmore 14/1 0.5 pt ew

rfc 90/1 0.25pts = 0.5pts

Meydan
2.30 - Difficult race. These goodophin nags so in and out. ?On paper FInal Song should win but will opt for the goodophin outsider in Story of Light. Doyle is no longer riding for some reason, but watching it's last race it tried to forace a poor pace and juist ran ot of juice. Was travelling like a dream 400m out with eveything else off the bridle. When it's won beofre it's settled off the pace and come home strongly over 7f. Enough horses who will force the pace today.

Story of Light 14/1 1pt ew

3.05 - Hmm. None of these are true 7f turf warriors. Moving around distances makes it tricky to solve. Comicas has not run for a long time but is chucked in off this weight, If Cliffs of Capri gets a decent break has a squeak.

Comicas 7/1 1 pt ew
Cliffs of Capri 10/1 1pt ew

3.40 - Urgh. Doesnt get easier. IF Dark of Night (big IF) gets a decent break is defo overpriced

4.50 Meydan - Firmament would have landed me a 5 five fold had it have won last time out, but Key Victory was clearly well handicapped. Firmament runs off the same mark today albeit in a higher grade. Land of Legends is a gorup horse for sure, but will it be geared up to win today? Moqtarreb was a big ew place for me last time out and is technically 1lb lower as was 4lb out of the handicap last time. Ocean Fury could be well handicapped but difficult to tell on graded form and if Championship bouncers back to form it's game over :)

I'll narrow it down to Land of Legends, Moqtarreb and Firmament. They are all 8/1 and I just can't pick between them!

Not sure whether to take the 5/1 and back each of them with 1 pt or do a crazy 0.25 rfc (total 1.5pts)

5.25 Meydan - We knew Drafted needed run last time, so fully expecting after decent run last time to win today

Drafted 6/4 - 3 points

6.00 Meydan - Looks like a rematch between Certain Lad, First Nation and Smisir. Rewatching the race, First Nation missed the break and got c

First Nation 10/3 - 2 points

Drafted/First Nation Double 1 point

1.20 Southwell - Augutus Caeaer 7/4 1 point

2.20 Wincanton  Moving with Style 11/4 1 point

First Nation, Drafted, Augutus, Moving 1 point ew quad

11.5pts staked (went with crazy rfc haha)

--THE FINAL RESET--

No punting in lower class races, no punting for the sake of it and no punting without research.

Bring back the glory days 🙊

Will start to track it all again.

12.40 Chelts - All the gossip and ante post money for Triumph hurdle yesterday is for Monte Cristo 5/4. Hendo farms this race. Let's see.

Monte Cristo 5/4

1.15 Chelts - Not clear which is best handicap form to me so tough. Jarveys Plate could be a big outside punt as can make excuses for both last two races. Simply The Betts lets me down last time. Sully D'Co AA looks worht a punt based on penultimate race. Both Jarveys Plate and Sully have lines to graded winners so why not punt em

Sully D'Occ 14/1 ew
Jarvey Plate 25/1 ew

1.50 Chelts - Watching Lalor get beat by noses again at 20/1 was painful and I hate seeking salvation in just beat nags I bet but I think this race is better than the race Warthog won. Lalor looked class couple seasons back so hoping Aidan can smash this one home today

Lalor 6/1

3.00 Chelts - Rocket Lad could be underestimated here. Looks like decent form in Ireland

Rocket Lad 10/1ew

9.00am update....

1.00 ~Catterick - Versifier 9/1ew
3.10 Catterick - Uncle Norman 8/1ew

Meydan
3.05 - Ektiyaar 7/4 still well handicapped assuming in same form as last year

3.40 - Far SKy 7/1ew.  Really tough as SBS chucks darts. Commanding bolted up last time but has a wide draw, whereas last time was (1). Dubai Avenue stuck it out really well being last off the bridle and does look a massive ew at 20/1, but Far Sky who reoppses him today is not drawn out wide this time and last time was first time up so one can assume a level of improvement. I thought about Spirit of Light at 50/1 but draw not great.

4.50 - Zakouski Evs ought to win off this mark. Assuming has been geared up to win today

5.25 -   Another tough one. If North America turns up, he wins. Muntazah probably needs the run like previous yeasrs. Secret AMbition, Rodiaon, Heavy metal and Kimbear all reoppse today, but annoying I was going to back GreatCollection. Not sure why a NR, but maybe because Watson thinks either Kimbear or Munty will win? Hmm. Going Kimbear 6/1ew

6.35 - Ureght another tough one. Firmament 12/1ew and Galavanise 16/1ew

Well that was another crossbar day. Solid handicap pick  of  Above and Beyond 9/1 flying from the back to be nosed off as was the strong looking Ibn Malik 7/2 in the last at Meydan. And to wrap up a 6/1 which also finished 2nd. Anyhow finding time after 2 years to put in the research hours is getting me close back to form.

1.20 Sandown - Chef D'Equipe 5/1 unlucky not to win last time out and Domaine De L'isle who was 7 lenghts back thast race went onto win by 10 lenghts next time out. Chef is also a C&D winner so strong chance.

1.50 Sandown - Even though Darebin gets a 6lb pull on Johnbb 7/4, having watched the race I don't think it's enough to turn the tables. Locker Room Talk will take on Darebin upfront and may not help his cause and Delire takes a drop back in trip which I'm not keen. (money back if finish 2nd on Skybet)

2.50 Lingfield - Petite Jack potentially a big price at 13/2, but Lady Bergamont 5/1, was running 100+ horse close at Lingfield last seen in a Listed race, so could have been a fluke or the surface adds some firepower. Obvs going for the latter.

3.00 Sandown - Gutted Wadham has a runner in this race as it means Leighton Aspell takes the ride on it and not on Dark Flame 15/2. Provided there's no bounce and this jockey I've never heard of can do it justice should go very close based on previous marks and last C&D run. Burtons Well 9/1 could be the biggest danger as assuming bounced last time and is now back on song and ahead of mark.

Thursday 2 January 2020

Bets 02/01/2020

Lalor getting beat by a nose cost me over £8k! Anyhow...

Meydan 3.05 - A Momentofmadness is the obvious choice coming so close in couple of handicaps, but I'll chance the veteran Caspian Prince 6/1ew. A preivous course winner, and whilst on the decline it's last race in the G1 Derrinstown it ran above it's current mark so could have regained some quality

Meydan 3.40 - Tough one. New Trails ran a shocker before romping this race last year and again ran a shocker prior to today, so could romp again? Tried and Tuned last to first looks solid, and Festival of Ages was a top drawer younger horse, but I'll take a chance on Above Normal 9/1ew who also went last to getting close to winner last time out with step up in trip definatley going to be a plus.

Meydan 4.15 - Championship 18/1ew could be decent ew value back in handicaps of 102

Meydan 4.50 - Ibn Malik 7/2, but lavaspin could be a threat if returnig to form
