Someone asked me about Meydan yesterday. I made so much $$$ when the tapeta angle was available, but it's gone now! Boo. Also, I'm working circa 100 hour weeks now so don't get to punt midweek, but oh look Meydan is on today. Whilst it's average racing let's see what I still remember :)

Meydan 11.35 - Daar Zayed 13/2

Meydan 12.10 - Double Dealer 12/1 and Genius Boy 4/1

Meydan 12.45 - State Law 5/4

Meydan 1.20 - Washaar 15/2 and Machete Mark 8/1

Meydan 1.55 - Tricast with Street Act, Ormindo and Press Room

Keeping on the flat

Lingfield 1.45 - Middle England 5/6

Lingfield 2.20 - Archibold Thoburn 14/1

Lingfield 2.55 - Mind Your Own Business 4/1

Will come back to jumps (maybe a bit later)

12.05pm Update...

Tom Pricewise Segal has tipped:

2.05 Ffos Las - Awaywiththegreys 20/1
2.40 Ffos Las - Edmud Kean 10/1, King Massini 25/1
3.35 Sandown - Bertie Boru 9/1

Not that bothered about jumps todays but a few outsiders...

1.50 Sandown - Frencah Opera 8/1
2.05 Ffos Las - Radmores Revenge 25/1
4.10 Sandown - AIgle De La See 9/1, Brigadier Miller 11/1

Another weekend of punting yet still haven't got that buzz back! Anyhow, Tom Segal from the Racingpost has picked one:

Chelts 1.50 - Black Thunder 8/1

Lets see how well I fair today!

Chelts 12.40 - Peace and Co 1/2 is solid

Chelts 1.15 - Black River 10/1 interesting, but Caroles Destrier 12/1 if makes all again could be really well handicapped

Donny 1.30 Runswick Royal 4/1 looks well handicapped

Chelts 1.50 - Agree with Segal and go with Black Thunder. I have a small spot spot for TGB but BT looks decent

Chelts 2.25 - Easter Day 3/1

Chelts 3.00 - Value at Risk 6/4 looks a bit special

Chelts 3.35 - On ratings Saphir Du Rheu 9/4 ought to win

Chelts 4.10 - Dell Arca 4/1 can/(will) bounce back today

Need some flat love too....

Lingfield 12.50 - Draco's Code 7/4

Lingfield 1.25 - Gabrials Wawa 9/4 will be better after first run. Could be decent

Lingfield 2.35 - The Third Man 9/2 and Gworn 8/1 are potentially both well handicapped

Lingfield 3.10 - If they let Maverick Wave 4/1 go they wont' catch him. No confirmed front runer like MW so a chance

Lingfield 3.45 - Blue Aegen 6/4

Lingfield 4.20 - True Course 11/4 although draw might be tough

After hitting a 340/1 scorecast last weekend after not having a penny on the nags I considered leaving this weekend too, but too hard for me especially with Sprinter back in action.

Segal has tipped two today:
Ascot 2.45 - Le Mercurey 5/1
Ascot 3.35 - Tenor Nivernais 7/1

Let's see if my luck has turned:

12.20 Haydock - I think Kingswell Theatre 3/1 is well handicapped looking back through formlines

1.15 Ascot - Village Vic 3/1 - How many times has Hobbs brought one back from a long lay off and been very well handicapped!

1.25 Lingfield - Emirates Skycargo 4/6

1.50 Ascot - On figures Bitofapuzzle 4/1 has 19lb to find with Caroles Spirit. The old me backs CS every time and maybe that's where I'm going wrong, but I reckon BOAP is going to be pretty decent over this trip

2.00 Lingfield - History Book 3/1 to blitz from front

2.25 Ascot - Stick with Segal; Le Mercurey 5/1

2.40 Haydock - Third Intention 15/8 on OR and weight ought to win this. Bonus has won here before too.

3.00 Ascot - Sprinter is back. I backed him at 7/4 in the week, but clearly a shed load of risk.

3.15 Haydock - Vintage Star 9/1 to go one better than last year. Will bounce back to form today (i hope)

3.25 Taunton - New Years Eve 7/1

3.35 Ascot - Fox Appeal 8/1 looks well handicapped based on form behind Al Ferof

A Segal e/w Treble brought me close to even yesterday. I had nothing onside yesterday. Not sure if was weather related or just my shocking form.

Segal has tipped three today:
1.40 Southwell - Thorpe Bay
2.40 Southwell - Pearl Nation
2.50 Plumpton - Reblis

Naas 1.30 - Tell Us More has been smashed for the Neptune so either a bookie trap or I assume is a banker today.

Plumpton 2.50 - After having backed two Moore horses today is tough to go with Reblis. It is Segal though. However I want a bit of Gorgeous Lliege 9/2

Happy New Year! Nearly hit a 10k treble with Mon Parrian, Splash of Ginge and Knight of Noir yesterday. Boy oh boy that would have been a dream start to the year.

Tom Pricewise Segal from the Racingpost has gone for:

1.50 Sandown - Brick Red 6/1
3.00 Sandown - Balgarry 8/1
3.55 Sandown - Unioniste 5/1

Here goes nothing.....

Newcastle 12.30 - No Deal 14/1 if fit wins this. Looked decent before injury.

Sandown 12.40 - I reckon Glens Melody would beat Irving with 15lbs in hand and therefore on form and at the weights Mischievous Milly 11/4 wins although does not have the fitness edge which might be a worry

Newcastle 1.05 - Oscar O'scar 9/1 down in trip with first time cheek pieces would have won him the race on 15/11 so hopefully can do it today. Was all over the place last race but if headgear does trick will go very close.

Sandown 1.15 - Golanova 9/1 keeps finding one too good. If Madness Light manages to complete might be the one to scupper again but big chance despite step up in grade

Wincanton 1.30 - Head Spin 11/4 won so well two races ago just think last race may have been too soon. If so, is still well ahead of mark

Newcastle 1.40 - Beauboreen 6/1 ran very well over 3m in heavy conditions over hurdles off 128. So, off 122, with Maguire booked, with trainer bang in form and banking on headgear helping jumping fluency is worth a pop.

Newcastle 2.15 - Island Confusion 5/1 looks very very very well handicapped based on Kingfishers Creek. On the face of it is potentially over a stone well in.

Sandown 2.25 - L'ami Serge 1/2 should be free money but not lumping

Wincanton 2.40 - Earthmoves 4/1 looks on a decent mark based Assam Black winning a C4 handicap off 112 when 9 lenghts behind Eartmoves who can win this off 122

Sandown 3.00 - Amore Alato 4/1 has solid course form and takes step down in class. Has to go close

Wincanton 3.15 - Black River 7/4 has finally got into the swing of things. Remember he beat Vatour by 7lenghts back in the day

Sandown 3.35 - I can see why Segal has gone for Unioniste 5/1. Relax is clearly interesting too, but I want to hit another long shot and Vino Griego 20/1 could easily bounce back at a course he loves.
