Bets 01/07/2023

Thought Parr Fire 25s was going to win after a poor start. Jockey had no control in the final furlong. At least it placed, otherwise would have been three days of clean sheets.

12.20 Newcastle - Batal Dubai 11/2ew ran a better race over C&D than Raatea given weight/age etc. Raatea won this last year and is surely going very close given current form but have to go with what I see as bigger value in Batal esp with Oisin booked who is superman at the track.

12.40 Newmarket - Star of Mystery 11/8

1.30 Newcastle - Blow Your Horn 4/1. In great form and well handicapped still

1.57 Chester  - Etolie D'Alexandre 5/2 - The best form on show, a 5lb claim and trainer in form and one that also won this race last year.

2.50 Curragh - Apache Oulaw 11/2ew. Curragh 6f good ground is the perfect mix. Ran between Age of Kings and Blackbeard in the Railway ove C&D at this meeting last year.....

3.25 Curragh - Never Ending Story 11/2ew. At the weights has the best chance esp being a course winner and a solid lto run in a G1. Clearly concerned Moore has chosen to ride Above The  Curve.

3.42 Chester - Equatorial 6/4 - Well handicapped, good draw

4.35 Curragh - Roman Bull 18/1ew. Doing okay on AW, but last two runs on turf makes this one chucked in

5.10 Curragh - Ghost Dance 20/1ew.

5.40 Curragh - Line Out 40/1ew.

Bets 30/06/2023

Hmm. Need to head back to 3yr old handicaps and decent quality races only.

3.30 Yarmouth - Zouzanna 5/2  - Dangerous taking on a Haggas fave, but Zounzanna looks well handicapped on debut

5.05 Doncaster - Parr Fire 25/1ew. B365 are nearly double the other bookies. Hmmmm. Parr Fire is a course winner which is good advantage here. Tinkler slowly coming into form. First time visor, draw good enough. Could go close!

7.25 Chester - Hey Lyla 8/1ew. If Franny bounces out think can make all and win this from a slightly tricky draw. Tajalat looked the risk from a good draw but hasn't yet raced handily which not sure will help.

7.35 Newmarket - Dark Kestrel 11/2 - Noted it last time as potentially well handicapped but didn't show it. Couple of novice races that show this but will it reproduce today? Didn't lto.

Wednesday 28 June 2023

Bets 29/06/2023

4.20 Newmarket - Urban Sprawl 5/4
4.55 Newmarket - Wild Side 5/2
4.30 Newcastle - Mistac Mac 14/1ew 3p.
5.05 Newcastle - Split stakes betweent Techno Lady 25/1, Bowland Prince 20/1

Tuesday 27 June 2023

Bets 28/06/2023

5.50 Kempton - Sail on Silver Bird 12/1ew. Debut race over C&D puts this one right in the mix. Buick has been booked. Bell, whilst doesn't have too many winners at Kempton has had a couple of decent winners recently. Have no real explanation for previous run. Perhaps was the C&D.

6.50 Kempton - Balagh 3/1. For some reason put this in my tracker. I know it's a maiden and should not bet in theses races..... half bet, no acca.

7.20 Kempton - Covert Legend 8/1ew. Solid C&D debut and well handicapped, but does need to settle better

Bets 27/06/2023

The most enjoyable Royal Ascot on record for me. Massive priced winners all over the place.

12/1, 16/1, 10/1, 11/1, 12/1, 25/1 and 11/4 winners

9/2, 66/1, 11/1, 7/1, 20/1, 9/1, 10/1, 25/1, 22/1, 18/1, 33/1 placed

The exchanges meant got even bigger prices and just a shame didn't land any massive accas. Anyhow a lot of horses to track from the meeting.

Had a few bets last night on the exchanges.

2.00 Brigthon - Billaki Mou 4.7 win, 2.1 placed

4.00 Brighton - Sir Winston 2.83 win

5.00 Brighton - Bernard Spierpoint 3.84 win, 2.02 placed

Saturday 24 June 2023

Bets 24/06/2023 - Royal Ascot Day 5

Really thought Matrika 10/1ew was going to win yesterday but up popped Frankie.

Shaquille reared and so screwed any chance, or so I thought. Woe just wow. Dacking boooom!

Rest of day was average but Unless 28/1ew and Continuous 17/2ew placed

*Bold is what I've backed. Rest is just chat. All of Detorris horse's going to be over bet which means a lot of value has gone in some of them.

Off to Ascot today so not really spent as much time as I would have liked.

Ascot 2.30 - The first short price fave I'm backing this festival. Pearls and Rubies 5/2. Ran the best debut of anything in this field. I have a naggin worry that 7f is not the right trip, but I think her class may just get her through.

Just seen that fillys have only won 1 in 27 of this race. HMMMM....

Count Palatine 25/1ew might be worth a small ew given the form and eye-catching run lto

Ascot 3.05 - Antartic 6/1ew is the best horse in the race. The form is decent

Ascot 3.40 - I really want to back an Applebly runner because I think Al Suhail has a decent chance. However I can't bring myself to do it.

Artorious 9/2 was a very decent 3rd in this last year when behind two Appleby horses. A year older running off the same weight and looks a better horse on paper. Going to go very close to winning again.

The Astrologist 66/1ew worth a small poke given it's run in the Al Quoz. I've backed on the exchanges in the 60's and will probably put a lay in running as may not make it to the line

Ascot 4.20 - This is uber tricky. Can make a case for so many of them. Pyledrive is the best in this field but looks like this is a warm up for the King George in July. Not sure Hukum will run on ground this fast. Deauville Legend ran a blinder in Melbourne, but feels risky back him first race back and not convinced can improve that much more?

Changingoftheguard 10/1ew is going to improve a stone (I hope) . Grand Alliance could well be thorn at a huge 33/1

Free Wind 2/1 is going into an acca.

Ascot 5.00 - There are so many potential plots in here.

Saint Lawerence 25/1ew - If bounces back to form is well handicapped. Ran well in the commonwealth trial here and the kings stnd last year which was surely to shorter trip. Will it boune back don't know but been some money for it.

Albasheer 60/1ew - Ran two very good races over 6/7f in 20' & '21. Ran well enough inbetween 107 & 113 horses lto. Straight course specialist Spencer booked. Watson having a cracking week could run at a big price.

Kape Moss - 40/1ew - Think is nearly a 100+ rated horse and with a decent 3lb claim will have another length in hand

Orazio 7/1 - Cover bet only as shed loads of money for it

Ascot 5.35 - Knockbrex let me down lto, but think better at 10. Canute will go close. Lion of War let me down 4 times and fricking goes and wins nto at 15/2! fuming.

I really want to back Appelby again! Think Local Dyansty is very interesting, but can't do it given form. Will do an Applebly acca later

Cuban Dawn 14/1ew one of a few who are unexposed and could hugely improve for step up

Lose Your Wad 50/1ew - I'm sure by this point in the day I would have lost my wad so fitting to confirm it with this one. Backed it lto as thought was well handicapped. Was bumped so not given a chance to prove it

Ascot 6.10 - Irish 123

Pearls, Covey, Free Wind, Dawn Rising Acca

Bets 23/06/2023 - Royal Ascot Day 4

 Day 3 = Bang!

If His Majesty broke levels and was drawn better, convinced would have won. Warm Heart was a ridiculous price and rightly won. Docklands was absolutely chucked in and duly obliged, and Waipro rounded off an solid day. From £800 down to £1.5k up for the week. Will lay £750 tomorrow and £750 on Saturday so any wins are now upside for the festival

Win - Warm Heart 16/1, Docklands 10/1, Waipro 11/1

Placed - His Majesty 11/1, Bertilinni 7/1, Royal Cape 20/1, Subjectivist 9/1, Emily Dickinson 10/1, Spangled Mac 25/1

Unplaced - Davideo 11/1, Surely Not 12/1, Lir Special 14/1, The Gatekeeper 85/1, Tylos 100/1, Drumroll 6/1

Was great dodgin Al Asifah and Elite Status yesterday. Not sure can dodge the faves today so an acca to cover it but I'm alwys looking to take them on ;)

LLB, Tahriya, King of Steel 6/1 Treble

2.30 Ascot:

Martika 10/1ew - The market always underestimates the improvement AOB juveniles make. Half sister to the Wow Signal.

Carlas Way 5/1 - Massive debut. Will go close, but I'm only playing a cover stake and very small RFC

Navassa Island ran the best debut of everyone looking at the numbers, but will leave as-is

3.05 Ascot:

If/when LLB wins I'm taking home over £500 in Antepost bets/accas.

The only horse that might pull a shock is Shaquille 12/1ew. Looks to be the only one with potential improvement left. Thumped a good bunch of horse including Noble Style by 3 lengths lto. Certain if was trained by a top trainer would be a 5/1 shot. Still has a tough task to beat LLB. Shouldhavebeanhearing interesting based on last run behind LLB.

3.40 Ascot:

Maskud 7/1ew - a 4 yr old drawn high fits first trends. Ran in the Hampton Court last year and on this form alone is well handicapped.

I backed Teumessias Fox at 50s last year as saw the potential. Collected big on it's last run. Will go close today, I just think the draw may be tricky if does not get to the front. HMS President is interesting, but stick with one as already quite sort for a big handicap.

4.20 Ascot:

Hmm. Do you really want to take on the fav.

I have Queen For You 16/1 Antepost and was fuming when bet at York. Really should have won that race.

Tahiyra is so short couldn't back it, and I'm not convince will necessarily like the GF.

Mediate 5/1ew - Will love the GF. Won the Breeders on Firm. I think worth taking a chance on.

5.00 Ascot:

Jackie Oh 7/1ew - I backed her for the Oaks but never ran. Think has some class in her on pedigree. Am a bit worried about the trip but this will be inevitably run at a serious pace that will hopefully help

Unless 28/1ew - I reckon has half a stone in hand. I can't find anything else with this much in hand on paper

 5.35 Ascot:

Continuous 17/2ew - I backed this for the Jockey Club and can't explain it but I thought ran a cracker in the Dante for first run back. For some reason have it backed AP for the the Eclispe. hmm. I think King of Steel ran a cracker lto but I want to think/hope it circumstantial.

6.10 Ascot:

Hispanic 16/1ew - This is a 100+ rated horse and the fact it's the only one entered in a G1 - G3 race says that too. 5f looks right. No Nay Never pedigree who won the Nofolk over C&D

6.55 Goodwood - Swift Asset 12/ew

7.05 Newmarket - Golspie 16/1ew

Thursday 22 June 2023

Bets 22/06/2023 - Royal Ascot Day 3

Day 1 = Disaster. Day 2 = Bang, Crossbar, Flop. Day 3 = Uneasy

Crimson Advocate was beautiful. Managed to get 20s on the exchange.

Farrh To Shy had to check left so many times and then Queally took foot off pedal before the line screwing a couple of ew accas. Grand Dam and Queen no good. Alabama was done by the draw but at least placed. I can only imagine how well Jimi Hendrix was handicapped for it to win up that rail!

2.30 Ascot:

They all have to beat Elite Status but 13/8 not my kind of bet...I also have it in an Antepost bet at 2/1 so can't bet it again. The two horses in behind him last time out have been walloped. American Rascal and No Nay Mets could both be decent. I hope the latter gives a perfect toes into the race for the horse drawn next to it in His Majesty.

His Majesty 11/1ew - Form with Givemethebeatboys. Draw is good. 5f is a slight doubt but it's AOB whose is in decent form

3.05 Ascot:

Burglar is ahead of mark but has to show can stay, as is Davideo, Sisyphus Strenght and Cloudbreaker. Perfuse and Inquiring Minds both look ahead of mark but not sure the latter could turn the tables.

Davideo 11/1ew - Watching videos of them all gone with Davideo. Galloped away the further is went skipping off the ground.

Bertilinni 7/1ew - Small play given AoB form and record in the race

3.40 Ascot:

Al Asifah will be difficult to beat....

Warm Heart 16/ew - Not sure why is nearly triple the price of Bluestocking.

4.20 Ascot:

Coltrane will land me a decent enough Antepost double so even though most likely winner not backing today.

Subjectivist 9/1ew - Ran to pretty much the same level in the Dubai Gold Cup as did in '21 and if runs to anything close to when bolted up in this race will give Coltrane a problem.

Emily Dickinson 10/1ew - Adding this 13.22pm

At this point time to hit Elite Status, Al Asifah, Coltrane (Top2) Treble 9/1

5.00 Ascot:

Docklands 10/1ew - Bolted up last time at Ascot, and surely still lbs in hand

Surely Not 12/1ew - Decent formline

Royal Cape 20/1ew - I backed this few days back. Looks chucked in (forgot I backed it)

Good Karma, Quatum Impact, Racingbreaks Ryder all on the list, but finding it tough to nail colours to anymore

5.35 Ascot:

Drumroll 6/1

Waipro 11/1

6.10 Ascot:

Nothing in the field meets any of my usual handicap trends/pointers, so not much hope, but some funky prices on the exchanges ;)

Lir Special 14/1ew - Varian decent record in race

Spangled Mac 25/1ew  Solid Meydan handicap form

The Gatekeeper 85/1ew - Long time off after poor run in the Coventry, but on the mend and can hopefully improve again.

Tylos 100/1ew - I'm certain hates Ascot and looks like excels on heavy, but beating Gorak like that means could be massively chucked in?

Hit an AoB ew acca of sorts? Foolish? Let's see? His Majesty, Bertinelli, Warm Heart, Emily Dickinson, Carracci, Drumroll

Dettori also has some very interesting rides today..... All his rides around 6s and 7s.....

Wednesday 21 June 2023

Bets 21/06/2023 - Royal Ascot Day 2

 Ouch.

Inspiral was beaten by a horse I'd not heard off. Hateem placed nicely at 33/1. Kings Stand no excuses. Franceso blew the start and was game over after that. Raymond Tusk no idea. Ahorsewithnoname winning just puts the cherry on top given how much could have won on the Ceasererwitch!

**First choices - if pushed....looks a really hard day.....

Ascot 2.30 :

Hot Front 85/1ew (8 places) - Mother won the windsor castle.

Baslam 16/1ew - Wooton Bassett decent 2yr record at Ascot

**Crimson Advocate 12/1 - Looks very fast.

Ascot 3.05 - All straight wins giving backing 3.....

Adelaise 11/1 (Backed couple days back) - Really unlucky lto

**Farhh To Shy 22/1ew - Ran really well in this last year. much lower in the weights. Great run last time. I hope Spencer doesn't give him too much to do, but can go close.

Looked at love interest and don't tell claire but two is enough money lost :)

Ascot 3.40 -

Grand Dam - 7/1

**Queen Amintatu 9/1

4.20 Ascot -

**Bay Bridge 4/1 - Thankfully didn't beat Lux ltm, but think can turn the tables today

5.00 Ascot -

Dawn of Liberation 40/1ew - Backed this a few days back. If doesn't win here I think will be aimed at Glorious Goodwood for another pop. Think is well handicapped.

**Point Lynas 25/1ew - 3lbs ahead of handicapper. Form is decent. I hope for a place at least

Atrium 28/1ew - A cliff horse on my list. No other reason ;)

5.35 Ascot -

**Peking OPera 6/1 - Aob horses second run of season do well, good record in race too, plus decent day yesterday.

6.10 Ascot -

Alabama 18/1ew - Was supposedly very good. If the blinkers have done the trick could be a big price. Related to Sioux Nation so has chance on pedigree too

**World of Darcy - 12/1

Monday 19 June 2023

Bets 20/06/2023 - Royal Ascot Day 1

A nice freebie with Be Frank yesterday. Been at a conference all day today and back again tomorrow. Bad timing............

I have no idea what will happen to the ground tomorrow. So annoyed after such great weather it starts to screw round now. I don't think will get any worse than good though. There is a difference between good and good to firm when comes to finding the edge, but hey such is the merkage we have to deal with.

Ascot 2.30 Queen Anne - I just can't see beyond Inspiral 2/1. I think every horse is exposed. The race that Inspiral ran on seasonal debut as Royal Ascot last year was, with the fillies allowance, at least half a stone better than anything that any of them that have run at Ascot. Modern Games is the biggest threat. Nothing other than boring in this race. Top 2 in the market. Trying to make a case for an ew with Lusail or Berkshire Shadown, but just can't. So sticking with just Inspiral.

Ascot 3.05 Coventry - Who knows what hand the draw will have in the outcome so ignoring it to a certain extent on Day 1. Haatem 33/1ew bust a 2,500/1 acca on Oaks day by missing the break. I partially want my redemption but I do think has a chance. On paper Asdna looks solid, but on collateral form I think Bobsliegh is nearly the same and therefore given Hateem 33/1ew (5 places) should have beaten it I have to punt it.

Ascot 15.40 Kings Stand - I normally try to avoid horses moving up and down sprinting distances, but Highfield Princess really is the best (at best) over 5f and on ratings should win. Coolangatta cold be nything but not hard any hype on this one? If Manaccan is worthy of being this short then Mitabby and Happy Romanace are much better value on formline. Here's what I've decided:

Inspiral / Highfield Princess Double 10.5/1

Happy Romance 45/1ew 4places

Mitbaahy 12/1

Ascot 4.20 St James - No bet as can't pick between 3 of 9

Ascot 5.00 - Bring on the Night looks like a hotpot? but trying the value with Irish Lullaby 20/1ew

Backed these last two yesterday

Ascot 5.35 - Francesco Clemente 13/2ew (5 places) - Pretty gutted didn't win lto but I have enough excuses for it. At the weights has the best chance. Will surely be fully geared up for this and race experience is my only doubt. Buckaroo look better at shorter. King of Conquest was fit lto when being FC but has a 3lb penalty for that win. Foxes Tales didn't rn well lto nor in the race last year. Highland and Bolshoi an Solid Stone could go well, but sticking with the one.

Ascot 6.10 Raymond Tusk 40/1ew (5 places) - Vauban may be tough to beat, but Raymond Tusk ran 4lenghts behind Get Shirty last year but didn't come into the race in great form. This year, down 4lbs, King in banging form and ran a blinder ltm. Draw is similar to last year and given Fuiraja Prince won from 16 few years back am stretched to say draw is bad. 66/1 was a crazy price; shame I missed it. 40's ew still better than back the fave.

Could well be a few decent faves accas to think about with Insprial, Highfiled Princess, Bring on The Night and mabe even Chalean and Vauban

Sunday 18 June 2023

Bets 19/06/2023

 Windsor 7.35 - Be Frank Top 2 11/10

Couple early ones for Tuesday as in the tracker

Ascot 6.10 Raymond Tusk 40/1ew (5 places) - Vauban may be tough to beat, but Raymond Tusk ran 4lenghts behind Get Shirty last year but didn't come into the race in great form. This year, down 4lbs, King in banging form and ran a blinder ltm. Draw is similar to last year and given Fuiraja Prince won from 16 few years back am stretched to say draw is bad. 66/1 was a crazy price; shame I missed it. 40's ew still better than back the fave.

Friday 16 June 2023

Bets 17/06/2023

I really should have waited till the weekend.... idiot.

Westeneese given awful ride. Can't win from that far back at York. Shining Blue beaten at 15/2 by 'the biggest threat'. No Nay Nicki beaten by the horse that back lto at 6/1 and broke a 400/1 acca. Harvanna won at opening odds of 8/1. The losing is fine, it's the salt in the wounds that hurts :)

I think it's a really stupid day to bet today having looked at the cards....

2.10 Chester - Vintage Clarets 4/1 wins if makes all. Cannot let Speedacus or Copper Knight sneak inside.

2.15 Sandown - Magical Morning 25/1ew. On best form wins, but will be tough back in distance but mybe the windop has done some magic.

2.35 York - Fortamour 10/1 ew. Needs a clear run to show worth but is handicapped to win.

3.05 York - Roberto Escobasr 4/1

3.20 Chester - Reidh 25/1ew. Backed this ltm as thought was well handicapped. I can't really explain the performance. Was travelling really well until 2f out. I did think last time maybe 8f was too far so 7.5f could be perfect. The biggest risk is Graham Lee not won at the track for the last 36 races... hmmm

3.40 York  - A handicap I can't sovle. Washington heights caked me twice being 2nd. Can it go one better? Backed Rabaah last time out and in a handicap is very interesting, but maybe not at York?. Mill Stream ran well in the Acomb and 6f willl be great but drawn middle may not help. Northcliff ran a bliner over C&D and Rousing Encore could also blown the long odds. Dark Kestrel could be chucked in. Broookln Nine Nine was also one I backed last time. Pah sod it. Leaving it

I'm done can't handle anymore. Get ready for Tuesday now

Bets 16/06/2023

Since about March I've really found which type of races I excel in. Bit annoyed I played yesterday but the last race bailed me out. I used play pretty much same stakes for all odds. Since March I now broadly speaking:

upto 5/2 - 2pts + 0.5pt on exchange

upto 5/1 - 1.5pt + 0.5pt on exchange

5/1+ 0.75pt ew + £0.5pt otn on exchange upto 12/1

12/1+ 0.5ptew + £0.w5pt otn on exchange upto 12/1

Sometimes I double down but have not placed anything bigger than 5pts since March which is good discipline.....shame I still bet when I know I shouldnt (many more races like this today) and shame I still bet too much on accas chasing the dream.....

1.50 York - Westerneesse 3/1 - Really strong formline. Pedigree says will stay so that's the main risk. Poets Dawn was interesting at a big price but not heard of the jockey and the stats don't look great for him.

2.25 York - Bazball 9/1ew. Top Speed rating in the race. Burkey does well in this race.

3.00 York - Pink Crystal 5/2. Well handicapped based on listed run behind Blue Azure. Ran very well at York Shaggas in great form

3.35 York - Shining Blue 5/4 - I can't believe I didn't back Shining Blue on 27 May. For some reason didn't bet in the race but still chucked in today. Chichester looks a threat

4.45 York - No Nay Nicki 15/2ew - Will need luck in running but if gets it will fly home close.

4.25 Sandown - Leadenhall 7/1ew. Defo stays the trip, I just hope not still running green. Ran well at the course on debut albeit on soft. Okay handicap mark, but can't find too many better handicapped.

8.30 Goodwood - Monty Bay 11/2ew - Well handicapped on debut

Wednesday 14 June 2023

Bets 15/06/2023

Couldn't stay away, and I know I will regret it....

1.50 Newbury - Dark Island 14/1ew. Didn't get any of a run lto for a long time and then hung markedly right. Only 1/2 stakes as amateur rider race

2.50 Newbury - Fox Island 66/1ew. Territorites do better 3yr+ esp at Newbury. Purely a pedigree punt on hope this follows suit. Given it's 66/1 I doubt it, but 1/2 stakes again to find out

3.25 Newbury - Believe You Me 25/1ew. If sorts it's greenness out and stays will outrun odds. I think if the first if is sorted will fix the latter.

3.10 Notts - Hildegard 9/2 - Good mark for H Debut.

3.45 Notts - Gulliver 11/2 - Going to win a few on the trot at some point.

3.35 Yarmouth - Universal Grace 17/2ew

5.10 Yarmouth - Bernard Speipoint 11/8

Sunday 11 June 2023

Bets 12/06/2023

Only 1 placed from 4 yesterday.

Last 2 bets before the weekend and then it's Ascot!

Windsor 7.10 - Dream Composer 11/2ew

Windsor 7.40 - Desperate Hero 7/1ew

ew double

Saturday 10 June 2023

Bets 11/06/2023

 20/1, 20/1 places, 8/1 and 10/11 winners.

1.35 Goodwood - Al Ruffa 9/1ew

3.10 Navan - Juno Beach 20/1ew

5.15 Beverley - Star of Lady M 16/1ew

5.45 Beverley - Queen of The SKies 16/1ew

Friday 9 June 2023

Bets 10/06/2023

9/1 winner yesterday. If I was betting only singles would have been happy but got trigger happy with accas. Oops.

Keeping money for Ascot so not covering too many races/horses.

1.15 Haydock - Not sure where will be fastest on the track. Last meeting was high numbers. Yesterday rails were on the inside, today they are in the centre. Equaliateral is the best horse. Down in class. The draw is buggin me. Also Clareden House I backed lto went into my tracker before the race is here. As is Korker the horse that can't get a clean break from the stalls.

Equilateral Top 3 10/11

1.50 Haydock - My Wagyu would have landed a decent treble at Epsom, but I was worried about trainer form as I am again today. I'm sure will win today now I'm choosing to avoid it :)

Silver Samuri won this last year and is only marginally higher in the weigths but you know me looking for a juicy outsider and today it's Nomadic Empire. The best on this going, over this distance in my book and whilst Wagyu and Volatile Anaylst look the best weighted, O'Meara has won this race twice and NE has run well at the track before.

Nomadic Empire 20/1ew

3.00 Haydock - Super difficult. Only betting as Sky offering 3 places. Moodaara looked immense at Kempton, but that was AW. Mimikyu has a penalty to deal with. Time Lock screwed me last time out and in fact the last three times just struggle to get head in front coming 2nd each time. Sea Silk Road's run in the Ribblesdale was probably the best run of all the horses in this race over this distance so popping my money here, but ew 3 places

Sea Silk Road 8/1ew 3places

4.10 Haydock - Another tricky one. If Overrule's gelding op works and runs to marks of first two runs, can win this

Overrule 9/1ew

4.45 Haydock - I backed Just Bring It lto at 16/1. Was backed into 11/2 and was an unlucky 4th. Should def have been 2nd at least. It's been smashed from 9/2 into 2/1. Huge drop in class. I know this is not a value bet though but still doing it. The value bet has to be Dornoch Castle. Back to quick ground on a track know likes. If bounces back to best is very well handicapped

Just Bring It 2/1

Dornoch Castle 20/1ew

5.00 Beverly - Split stakes between Senseofentitlement 11/1 and Eyeofthebeholder 16/1

11/2 and 20/1 SP winner. Can't for the life of me understand why Blank De Noir drifted from 10s to 20s. Another 4 figure profit day. I've totally stopped looking at twitter and oddschecker and it's been paying off (for now)

 A nice 20/1 winner. Love 3yr handicaps ;)

8.10 Lingfield - Doonbeg Farmer 25/1ew. I swore never to punt in the bottom rung of classified stakes, but here I am, trying something out.....

Well no more punting through a French card. Wasted all that time and missed Major Partnership 10/1 who I backed last time out in Dubai. Do'h.

Just messing with some 3yr old handicaps.

5.07 Gowran Park - Booyea 20/1ew

5.35 Thirk - Desert Illusion 9/2

5.45 Winsdor - Mahboobah 33/1ew

Going well in UK&I so venturing to France....

1.08 - Dorothy Lawerence 7/4

3.05 - Continous 4/1ew. Fuming fuming had this lined up for the race but was awaiting the draw. Got a plum draw. Been smashed in from 13/2. Gutted. Was going to have a big ew, as has a stonking chance. Am ew as just don't know enough about the French formlines.

3.50 - Sautnerne 11/2ew

5.00 - Demain 3/1

5.35 - Couer De Pierre 8/1ew

Another day that could have been immense. Still decent. Missed all the racing but surely Hateem wins if doesn't screw the break and damnit let the draw make me pick Streets of Gold over Olivia M. Anyhow 3 big wins and another 4figure profit.

Racing is much harder today :(

12.50 Epsom - No interest

1.30 Epsom - I have Auguste Rodin 8/1 Antepost and The Passenger 20/1 Antepost. Enough. Arrest has been hammered cos of Dettori so get a better price on AR in accas ;)

2.10 Epsom - Prosperous Voyage 7/4. Course winner. Top rated. Dettori on. Down in grade. No excuses.

2.45 Epsom - This is tough as no previous race trends to assess. Going to back two on the nose on the exchanges. Both at 30s. Swift Asset and Minnesota Lad . Swift will prob go in acca.

3.20 Epsom - I can't find any angles in this race either. Total free for all. Chucked some coins on the nose also on the exchanges. Claredon House 10s, Sampers Seven 14s, Came From the Dark 20s. Clarendon will prob go in tracker

3.55 Epsom - Another really tough one. Something will be lurking down the bottom of the handicap. Maybe Silver Sword? Pedigree good for Epsom. The 3 I like are all at the top. Cite d'Or is hugely overlooked but due to trainer form can't do it. Torito is going to be well backed due to Gosden, but Lose Your Wad 16/1ew is the pick. Would have finished closer in the boodles and I think is a 100+rated horse.

4.30 Epsom - If trainer form wasn't so poor I'd be having a decent bet on Caius Choister 11/4, but it's slightly tempered

5.05 Epsom - No time to look through every runner but Mr Wagyu 7/2 has a faves chance for sure

5.10 Doncaster - Mindset 8/1

Bets 02/06/2023

2.00 - Haatem 4/1. Looks solid. Never worth ignoring 5+ length wins over sprinting distances esp on quick ground. I don't think the current fave form with Ziggy's is that strong. A race that Hannon's do well in too.

2.35 - Austrian Theory 7/1. Nearly didn't bet. Wanted a guaranteed front runner and will stay. I think on this ground and back in form AT can do this. There are a number of horses drawn inside that like to front run but as long as doesn't get stuck out wide has a decent chance. Dutch Decoy would win if front runs but typically is held up and I think is a risk to that.

3.10 - Emily Upjohn 11/4. Westover was mightily impressive to have got so close in Meydan to Equinox, but travel and tough races can take it out of a horse? It'll be a decent race either way and will take the should be Derby winner on with the should be Oaks winner.

3.45  - Cadillac 14/1ew. Over 10f on good ground, this has got to be the best horse at the weights. Toshizou ran a blinder in the Howden considering how many times had to switch

4.30 - Savethelastdance Evs - Find it hard to take on a horse that came from last to first and win a Listed race by 22 lenghts.

5.10 - Streets of  Gold 5/1ew - Tossed up with Olivia Maralda but the draw swung it

5.45 - Lord Rapscallion 10/1ew - Best weighted on best form and can go close with a clear ride. Pocket the Profit interesting
