Bets 31/07/2012- Glorious Goodwood Day 1

Two massive fopars yesterday! Firstly calling out that Weld hacks up @ Galway every year and not backing two of his army, who won at 3/1 and 9/4. Secondly, making a pretty bold statement “he’ll having to be f*cking good to beat Line Drummer 8/15” referring to one of those Weld horse inevitably  beating the short priced O’Brien Horse, on which I lumped £90. Ah well. Hindsight. Right Glorious Goodwood. Bring it on. I’m not listening to any draw bias nonsense around the bend as the long straight negates that but on the flat think the lower drawn tend to do better. Will be focusing in on Hannon, Johnston and Gosden over the Festival.

Tom ‘Pricewise’ Segal from the Racingpost hast tipped 3 this morning:

Goodwood 2.00 – Retrieve 12/1 (was on my shortlist, but an open race)
Goodwood 2.35 – Giorlamo 11/2 (also on my shortlist list ahead of Michealango based on prices)
Galway 5.35 – Seanie 20/1

My thoughts later….

10.30am update..On the opening day last year the winners were 20/1, 7/1, 5/2, 6/1, 6/1, 16/1, 14,1. Hmm. I don’t remember doing well at Goodwood, but that’s not going to stop me trying...

Goodwood 2.00 – Wow. Tough opener. I’ve followed Cai Shen 8/1 for quite a while now but not had much luck. IF the ground is good Hughes could steer him to win from the front. The form of Royal Hunt Cup is working out well at this level with Dimension, Don’t Call Me and Field of Dream all winning since! Segal has tipped Retrieve 12/1 and obvious to see why. Problem I have now is I can’t pick between 8 other horses. Down to 6. 4 now (Start Right, King Torus, Landaman, Oceanway). Argh. Maybe I should leave? Can you leave out the Johnston horses? Oh dear. Think King Torus 20/1 in first time head gear gets the vote. Tentative.

Goodwood 2.35 – Girolamo 11/2 is the class horse, but Michelangelo has the course form. You can’t really write off Noble Mission either. Another tough one.

Goodwood 3.10 – Libranno 9/2. Decent C&D form as does Chachamaidee, but she fudges the start too often to be taken at that price. May put Chac in a double with Michelangelo to hedge a tad.

Goodwood 3.45 – No surprise for me to go Hototo 5/1 with that form working out so well. Will include Morawij in treble with Chac and Mic.

Goodwood 4.15 – Maybe best to focus on the Hannon kids. Millers Wharf 6/1 and Raging Bear 33/1.

Goodwood 4.50 – Jacob Cats 10/3 won me a decent prize last week and no reason to oppose again. I think Uppercut 20/1 is massively overpriced when check out the form lines with Trade Commissioner and Vainglory.

Goodwood 5.25 – Two horses. Same trainer. Dandy Nicholls. Hamoody 14/1 who has won this before with dire previous form. Fitz Flyer 14/1 who ran a blinder on Saturday after a poor start, down in class, same mark. D-Nic has won this 3 times before. Bet365, SkyBet, BlueSq, 888.com all paying 5 places.

Galway 5.00 – Weld = Volueuse de Coeurs 3/1

Galway 5.35 – Weld = Rock Critic 9/2

Galway 6.10 – Weld = Big Break Evs

Galway 6.40 – Weld = Moonbi Creek 3/1

Galway 7.10 – Weld = Storm Lightening 6/4

Ayr 3.20 – Tajneed 5/4.

Elusive Kate was pimp yesterday. Wish I would stop punting without the favourite, or using Insurebet, as I've now won 4 times in a row at reduced odds as I've wimped out. Anyway, I knew it was the start of the Galway festival in which Weld is King, but had no idea Segal was going to produce some tips today, and now I've missed some tasty prices!!!

Tom Pricewise Segal has tipped:
Galway 5.35 - Caim Hill 12/1, Clarach 8/1 but missed these prices a couple of hours ago. I'll be on it tomorrow for the start of Glorious Goodwood!! If I get a chance today may have a look at the Galway festival, or just punt on all of Weld's horses!!

3.30pm update...Weld had 17 winners at the Galway festival last year and has had a decent record over the years especially in the first few days. So I'll take a ridiculous approach and just back all of his horses?

Galway 4.00 – Discoteca 4/6 (w/o Train of Thought). Weld has a tremendous record in this but don’t see how Train of Thought can win on paper therefore safer to bet without (I think).

Galway 4.30 – Teach Nua 5/1. Weld bandwagon

Galway 5.00 – All historic trends point to the Weld horse Thunder Mountain. However he’ll having to be f*cking good to beat Line Drummer 8/15 who will frank the Mars form. And if the form is not enough, Ladbrokes are 2/5 on the yard they know so much about.

Galway 5.30 – Segal has tipped Caim Hill and Clarach. Can’t say I can add anything to this. Have no foundation for formlines. Do I have to back the Weld horse Midnight Music 9/1?

Galway 6.10 – Have no idea if this (backing Weld) is a good tactic or bad one, but Weld runs Fastidious 4/1. Has form behind Daddy Long Legs and Wrote as a 2yr old.

Galway 6.40 – Encrypted Message 5/2. Same tactic as above.

Galway 7.10 – Silver Concorde Evs. Same as above.

Total Staked £390.26, Total Returned £381.35

Week 24: Update on Ban Jay Desai

Initial Pot: £1500.00. Total Staked: £33,008.02, Total Returned: £39,197.30  = Profit: £6,189.28

5 months since I started this and I’m astounded I’m over 6k up, despite the outward schoolboy arrogance. Blogging my punting means I spend a vital few moments a day keeping track of results and form and it’s working wonders. Unfortunate point is, I still haven't been banned by anyone yet and I still haven't had any rejected bets, so I'm not even close.

The Olympics is awesome. Finding the swimming nearly as exhilarating as the horses. I’ve had a blinding week with punting and my accumulators finally did something to aid this, as did a few nice double figured winners. I had this sneaky suspicion about Sri Putra today and I was not wrong. Happy Days. Class is class and is always worth backing when conditions are right. And all credit to the handicappers as the OR has been coming on top in a lot of the races I’ve seen over last couple months. This may not be fact, and maybe I’ve been lucky, but either way, bishbashbosh.

Looking at the young ones, Newfangled’s form has been done some favours this weekend. The Windsor Castle Stakes is hacking up with Alhebayed, Parliament Square, Ask Dad and Liber all going on to win. So keep an eye out on Hototo on good ground. The Norfolk Stakes is looking strong too with Reckless Abandon leading the way there. Mars is definitely looking like a big player next year. Won by 4.5 lengths on the bridle on debut and 2nd place The Ferryman went on to beat a 95 rated horse by 3.5lenghts despite having trouble at the end. The Coventry Stakes also looks hot with Dawn Approach at the summit followed by Olympic Glory, C Colombo, Sir Prancelot.

Glorious Goodwood next week. Cannot wait, especially if the winners keep flying home. Fingers crossed.

Bets 28/07/2012

Ran riot yesterday at the tracks but also at Olympic ceremony so not really focused on the horses today. I will try to have a gander, but for now:

Tom 'Pricewise' Segal from racing post has tipped:
Ascot 2.55 - Medicean Man 14/1, Barnet Fair 12/1
York 3.10 - Ransom Note 12/1
York 3.45 - Head Space 11/1
Newmarket 4.00 - Balty Boys 12/1

Clearly these prices have all gone now. Remember if you want them you have to log in between 8.00am-9.00am depending on the bookie (e.g Ladbrokes match the price at around 8.17am). Right, time to freshen up before I have a look a the cards.

I have a bad feeling about this...

Ascot 2.20 – Followed Scatter Dice 6/4 this season, expect last race when never saw it running - Won at 16/1. Has a good chance today is jockey is upto it.

Ascot 2.55 – Segal already backed 2 in this; Medicean Man 14/1, Barnet Fair 12/1. Not sure I want to back anything else, but had Segal not picked those I would have backed Es Que Love 14/1. Maybe I still will.

Ascot 3.25 – The form of Sendmylovetorose looks the best here and Hughes likes Maureen 8/11. Wouldn’t discount Hoyam on paper, but I’ll stick with Hannon

Ascot 3.55 – Robin Hoods Bay 2/1

York 2.35 – Longshot of the day Justonfortheroad 33/1. Based on form behind Fury over C&D and down the handicap

York 3.10 – Segal has plumped for Random Note who came second in this last year. I think Sri Putra 14/1 might surprise some with blinkers and hood

York 3.45 – Segal has gone for Headspace who really annoyed me by jumping the line at Ayr and lost me the race. Take an outsider and go with Last Bid 28/1

Newmarket 3.20 – No surprise for me here. Riot of Colour 5/1

Newmarket 4.00 – Segal picked well with Balty Boys 8/1, but can’t ignore Rex Imperator 3/1

Newmarket 4.35 – Miss Diva 8/1

Newmarket 5.35 – Aazif 5/2

Salisbury 6.40 – Mayo Lad 15/8

Salisbury 7.15 – Bold Prediction 9/4

Not so good yesterday. No excuses. Newfangled’s form is on show today and although she has gone on, not convinced the rest of the form behind has. It gets tested again today with Fleeting Smile and The Gold Cheongsham, so may have a better view on 1k Guineas. Yes, it’s far too early to be getting excited about it, but if these two fail to materialise I might have a punt on Sendmylovetorose 33/1 for 1kG next year.

Thirsk 2.10 – Even though it’s s ridiculous thing to do, I’m hooked on maidens. Different 9/1. Decent draw and pedigree. Also has G1 entries.

Ascot 2.20 – Fleeting Smile's form behind Newfangled is obviously the best here.. So although FS should be the winner, could very easily be something better in here and can’t back it at 4/7. Would rather take a punt on Sol Diva 25/1

Ascot 2.55 - Carlton Blue 10/1 has come in on a low mark looking at his placings behind Jalaa and Englishman. Some excuses last time out and def the value in the race.

Ascot 3.30 – Beatrice Aurora 3/1 on form at Ascot and OR.

Ascot 4.05 – Montaser 5/2 should make light work of this field with his 3 year old allowance, but if he doesn’t top weight Hurricane Higgins 16/1 is totally over priced looking at the form with Mount Athos.

Ascot 4.40 – Haylaman 4/1 has the big boy form behind Gatewood. Although looking at Hajras and Clare Island Boy might be some 3yr allowance danger with form behind Expense Claim and Main Sequence respectively.

York 6.30 – Medici Time 8/1 has the best form lines here, slipping mark, and down in class. Barney McGrew 10/1 is also slipping down the handicap and has hacked up once here before.

Chepstow 7.20 – Verse of Love 11/2 down in class and trip

York 7.30 – Can’t say fully understand why Emirates Queen has been backed in. Seems to be a lot of hype and has big entries in the book and guessing that has come here is not bothered about handicaps. I’m hoping that that Barefoot Lady 4/1 who is dropping back in class, and has put in solid performances is last few races and here might be the call. I will have to look at the place market because Firedaws and Elas Diamond could easily pop up.

Newmarket 8.45 – Engrossing 4/1. Strictly Ballard form.

Down Royal 9.00 – Chicago 2/1. Ladbrokes are 13/8. We know how good they are at judging O’Brien horses.

I cannot believe Stirring Ballad was allowed to go off at 9/1 yesterday. Clearly not complaining but there was such an obvious form line to follow. The fact Balding won this the race a year before was probably another clue. Anyway, happy days.

Sandown 3.05 – Will continue to follow Newfangled form. Amazonas 9/2.

Leopardstown 7.20 – Famous Name 1/3

Doncaster 7.50 – Riot of Colour and Sovereign Debt form lines make Perfect Step 5/4 a worthy favourite. Has to handle Donny and quick ground but no reason to say won’t.

Epsom 7.40 – Moodhill 5/1 has come in, I think, on a slightly lenient mark. Will depend if handles the Epsom course though. So many can’t and don’t.

Epsom 8.45 – Another handicap debut. Monopoli 11/2. Based on what she did against Wrotham Heath last year is a nice handful ahead of the handicapper. However comeback was butters and if continues that form, has no chance. Risk reflected in price.

Sandown 6.55 – Hannon does well in this race, especially with those who have experience. Colmar 10/3 fits this bill.

Sandown 7.30 – Stirring Ballad 7/1 has come in at a decent weight and the form behind Dalkova and Riot of Colour makes this very appealing.

Leicester 7.45 – SBS is hacking up and reckon might be daft to take him on where he has a 40% strike rate with his 3yr old’s at Leicester. However I will with Deia Sunrise 5/2. Return to distance is spot on and has some serious form line in the last race. I may go for a punt without the fav.

Sandown 8.05 – Jacob Cats 2/1 looks a solid fav on paper

Leicester 8.50 – Sir Geoffrey 2/1. Looks back to best with pieces back on.

Antepost bet Danedream really saw me through yesterday. I think I placed 7 times which is frustrating, but nevertheless, better than losing. Carlton House and Awaywiththegreys really bodged me up me, but heyho. I've got a horrendous emotional attachment to CH. I thought today would be quiet, until Fats emailed me his thoughts for day. I've never had a good Sunday, so I hope that changes, else I'm buggered....

Curragh 1.40 – Always dangerous to back against unraced fillies but I think Dibayani 4/6 has come from a sizzling maiden when just held by The United States. That race is working out very very well. And USA is already 25/1 for the Derby.

Curragh 2.10 – Caponata 11/10. Have a suspicion Up would go better stepped up but also wasn’t really that impressive in last race watching it. Izzi Top cruised home. Struggling to see any other decent form even if my Irish form line knowledge is pretty village.

Curragh 2.45 – Cristoforo Colombo 1/2 is rated 20lb better than anything here so even an 80% performance would win this.

Curragh 3.20 – Princess Highway had a set back last week and trainer thinks will be tough on ground. Not too bothered about Was on basis of ground. Was withdrawn when to heavy last time out. Therefore this boils down to Great Heavens 15/8 who has won me around £500 this year. However I always get burnt in Ireland so I’ve seen ok place prices instead.

Ascot 2.15 – Feeling Elusive Quality’s pedigree here. Half bets on Sea Shanty 7/1 and Izzy Boy 14/1. Should not even be considering this. Reckless.

Ascot 2.50 – Morrison won a couple here yesterday and so a C&D winner creeping down in weight and grade Cill Rialaig 4/1, but I think I prefer Tropical Beat 13/2 who has been crying for a step up in trip

Ascot 3.25 - The form line I’m looking to follow here is Es Que Love. Head gear made a big difference yesterday with a few horses so a cheeky punt on Sans Loi 16/1 and also Yeeoow 6/1 who runs well fresh and looked progressive.

Ascot 4.00 – Ahzeemah (5/1). Could have had a big price earlier this morning. Gets a 3 yr allowance and with SBS in form he is pulls out best effort will hack up. Didn’t like York (forgiven just like you would at Newmarket or Epsom) and didn’t like heavy, so looks a good bet.

Ascot 4.35 – Dalkova 6/4. Solid form behind Riot of Colour.

Ascot 5.05 – Dungannon 5/1 form lines keep getting franked. Magical Macey 20/1 as the outside punt and Secret Witness 12/1 to run well over back over 5f with James Doyle in saddle.

M-L 1.30 – Tom Segal has tipped up Pennys Picnic. Interesting I guess

M-L 2.40 – Fractional 13/8

4 out 4 loses yesterday. I’ve worked out why I’ve been punting every day and with sporadic stakes. There is only one person who can make this happen. Rob Kanfer. Rob ‘Gamblor’ Kanfer is now part of our watsapp convos and every race gets a look in, the dogs, golf, football, Olympics, etc. I’ll try to restore some order in my staking today and stop chasing loses with Kanfer bankers, even if it has been working…

Tom ‘Pricewise’ Segal has tipped up 3 today:

Ascot 3.55 – Noble Citizen 22/1, Al Muheer 20/1
Ascot 4.35 (King George VI and QE Stakes) – Dunaden 8/1

My thoughts later….9.10am update...

Ascot 2.10 - Hughesy reckons Toronado 1/2 is one to follow

Ascot 2.45 – My Queenie 7/1 nearly landed me a nice 10/1 last time out and hoping can go one better this time with solid C&D form and formlines

Ascot 3.20 – Carlton House 8/11. Totally biased. Although can you avoid Gosden/Buick on Questioning. Can’t back both unless go heavy on Carlton. Hmmm

Ascot 3.55 – Segal has back Noble Citizen and Al Muheer. I’ll go Imperial Guest 33/1 who could have won over 6f yestesday if got the break. Didn’t use too much energy.

Ascot 4.35 – Have been trying to solve this all week. Melbourne Cup winner vs St Leger winner vs last year’s George winner vs Breeders turf winner vs Arc winner vs Japanese Derby winner. I mean come on. Seriously. This is going to be f*cking amazing but I really can’t call it. I ruled out Sea Moon on the basis that I thought Dunaden 7/1 would have won last time out without interference and Segal agrees. I back backed Danedream 12/1 antepost. I now can’t back Sea Moon. Heart tells me Nathanial, head tells me SNA as Ladbrokes have been avoiding all week and still are this morning! If I bet on anything else except Segals bet and my antepost bet it will be on either Natty or SNA but each way or insurebet.

Ascot 5.10 – Gospel Choir 15/8 without Sun Central

Market Rasen  - Peter Bowen bandwagon tim…

Market Rasen 2.15 – Awaywiththegreys 3/1. Won here by 17 lengths last time out in field of 11

Market Rasen 2.50 – I can’t really assess form of jumps horses at mo as I’ve focused fully on the flat. But some pimp horses in this!! Court In Session 20/1 is far better over hurdles and looks overpriced! Absinthe 6/1 looks tasty as does Kian’s Delight 7/1. Hmm.

Market Rasen 3.25 – Al Co 7/1 and last year’s winner Quliton 7/1.

Market Rasen 4.40 – Ballybough Gorta 6/4

Market Rasen 5.15 – Sunday City 6/1 won me a few back in the day

Newmarket 2.35 – Steps 3/1. Solid place form but back here where excels.

Newmarket 3.10 – Set To Music 15/8

Newmarket 3.45 – Vainglory’s 4/1 form behind Trade Commissioner stands out. Has won here before as well.

Total Staked £831.67, Total Returned £881.94

Went on and did a lot of evening betting last night...think I did ok, but not checked yet.

Ascot 2.10 - Punt on Hot Secret 18/1 with form behind Hoyam

Newmarket 5.40 – Cantor 11/4. Won by 6 lengths at Epsom on soft. Is going up 6lb so looks good value runs to same standard. It is a large field however so can’t be overly confident.

Haydock 4.50 – Just following Stoute. Can always forgive a horse a bad run a Newmarket, so Pistol 4/1.

Ascot 3.20 – Call on it 25/1 and Spice Fair 6/1 with the Ascot form behind Simenon down in trip

Epsom 6.40 – New Leyf 7/1. Ran okay here once before, sound good form in book, down in class, and top rated

Sandown 8.05 – Debating Society 5/2 to continue Stoute’s good form. 21% strike rate at Sandown as well.

Going to back every SBS horse @ Lingfield blindly:

Lingfield 2.00 – Royal Empire 3/1

Lingfield 4.00 – Silent Moment 6/4. Not so blindly. Still miles ahead of handicapper though up in class.

Lingfield 4.30 – Sugar House 5/2 (2.50pm update: Sorry meant to write Ghostflower 5/2. I've backed Ghostflower, so hope Sugar House does not win!)

6.00pm update... Rollocks. Sugar House won. I should not have backed Silent Moment. Had I have looked at the card, I would have seen the winner's form with Mount Athos. Grrr.

Yesterday was one of those, how much do I lump onto this moments. Mars could be the next Camelot, but then again so could any of these…

Southwell 6.00 – Should punt on any of these, but will go half bets on Canadian Dancer 14/1 who has posted quick time here and Strictly Pink 12/1. The latter’s stable is butters so not expecting miracles. Really shouldn’t bet. Too late.

Southwell 6.30 – Muhamee 9/4

Oh dear. Two losses. Time to make it a hatrick?

Southwell 7.00 - Tyrana 9/2. Looks to have come back a bit stronger after 2 year lay off, but then there's the bounce factor. If not then looks a good punt.

Okay, so I did a dangerous thing and went chasing losses, but thankfully paid off...

I am really going to have to work on my accumulator strategy. I'm getting bored with creeping up the profit hill. Need some big wins! I'm stepping up to £30 a punt now as well...

Dundalk 2.25 – Mars 4/7. Backing it due to hype. I’m not near this, but apparently “same sort of buzz around him as there was for Camelot”.

Ayr 2.05 – Speculative punt on Majestic Moon 7/2. Brother Myles landed me a nice win at the weekend and Fahey is firing them in and has a decent record here too.

Ayr 2.35 – Nifty Fox 10/3. Easterby has a 18% strike rate here. He won something like 8 races on Saturday. Nifty Fox is a last time out C&D winner and still well handicapped (I hope)

Ayr 3.35 – Kimbali 11/4. Another Fahey horse. Gets a decent claim. Looks like the classiest horse in race and has been in far better races than most.

Ayr 4.05 – All the money is for Dubai Dynamo 5/2. I’m not fully convinced, but why not

11.30am update. p.s. Ladbrokes opened up shortest on Mars at 1/2....

Bets 14/07/2012 - July Cup Day 3

Argh. Lost £80 on accumulators, £100 on Golden Lilac and lost out on £50 by betting with 888.com and not getting Best Price Guaranteed. However, I stuck with Segal, like I always do, and I backed 4 horses in one race, kept to Elusive Kate and Gosden so I came out with some nice winners and on top. Today is mental. There are a lot of horses not getting their usual jockey today due to ‘Super Saturday’. Another one of days were could all go stoned pete tong. I’m off out for day now and gutted to be missing all the action!

Longchamp 6.50pm – Tom Pricewise Segal has tipped Last Train 12/1. Ladbrokes are dodging Imperial Monarch 9/4, which means only one thing. I think he is top class as well the way he finished his last race and tempted to wedge it.

Newmarket 1.40pm – I have a free bet with Bet365 on this race so use it on Bronze Angel 7/1 who I backed at Ascot and reckon will go close again and also Sir John Hawkwood 7/2.

Newmarket 2.10pm – Olympic Glory 7/4

Newmarket 2.40pm – Tom Pricewise Segal has tipped Bonnie Brae 10/1. I’ll leave it there although pundits and Hughes whisper Belgian Bill 14/1

Newmarket 3.20pm – Tom Pricewise Segal has tipped Sepoy 10/1. I’ve backed Bated Breath antepost so hope he runs.

Newmarket 4.30pm – I have a note saying back Rated 13/2 in my calendar. No idea why, but I’ll do it.

Newmarket 5.05pm – Local Hero 15/2 probably needs a break now, but has a good chance either way.

York 1.55pm – Common Touch 16/1 has best record here. Silvery Moon 7/1 has made me some good money this season too and 6lb may not be enough to prevent another win

York 2.25pm – Western Pearl 20/1 was 3rd in this last year and could have won it if ridden earlier. Out the handicap this time but good each-way value with 4 places. Crackentorp 9/1 C&D specialist should always be feared.

York 3.00pm – Tom Pricewise Segal has tipped Media Hype 8/1. Navaja Chief 14/1 is far too big. License To Till 20/1 might tempt me but the favourite Mijhaar 4/1 actually looks solid, very solid. You’ll notice Nathanial, Fury and Gatewood form lines…

York 3.35pm – Hayley/C Lady were mighty impressive last time out, but reckon the C&D factor make this a win Hamish Mcgonagall 11/2. Last year’s winner Masamah will go close, but ground may go against. Hope it does!

Newbury 3.10pm – Soul 2/1. OR say so.

Newbury 3.50pm – Hototo 9/2 all day long. Solid, honest race last time. No reason to see why any horse would reverse placings.

Newbury 4.20pm – Retrieve 3/1. Weighted to reverse with Qarabaa. Poet looks regressive. Expense Claim is biggest threat but not backing as well.

Chester 3.25pm – Majestic Myles 7/2. Have never worked out when to back Our Jonathan so will just avoid, but will now no doubt win.

Bets 13/07/2012 - July Cup Day 2

Shocker of a day yesterday. Let's hope today is better!

Newmarket 1.20 – Perfect Step will probably be backed hard today after Sovereign Debt’s win. Not interested in the price and technically Riot of Colour 11/1 should reverse placings. Other one I like is Tartiflette 10/1 with form behind Gregorian and Shamaal Nibras.

Rest to follow later...work to do :(

11.30am Update...I wrote the above last night but always nice to see Segal has tipped Tartiflette as well. Yesterday I made a schoolboy and backed both his selections twice because I thought they’d win too. Reckless! Not today….

Newmarket 1.50 – Tom Pricewise Segal has tipped up Mince 8/1. I had my eye on this last night but the form lines don’t amount to much. It was a solid C&D win though. The one I’m more keen on is Piri Wango 10/1 and Fulbright 16/1. All eggs in one basket backing lowly drawn numbers…Although Accession 12/1 also looks interesting at the other end and closely matched with Mince (I think). Hmmm. Pull a name out a hat job…

Newmarket 2.25 – Premier Steps 7/1 form behind Newfangled wins this for me.

Newmarket 3.00 – I backed Golden Lilac Antepost and reckon worth another few bob today. Serious amount of money for her all week. Gosden runs two which surely are the only dangers? Segal has tipped Giofra. Golden, John, Gosden Tricast?

Newmarket 3.35 – Randomish punt Abraaq 33/1. Decentish pedigree and Dunlop won this before

Newmarket 4.10 – Marshgate Lane 9/4

Newmarket 5.20 – Borug’s 14/1 form behind Gatewood wins this for me

1.35pm update...After Free Verse bolts up form line helps the York race...
