Bets 02/01/2015

Happy New Year! Nearly hit a 10k treble with Mon Parrian, Splash of Ginge and Knight of Noir yesterday. Boy oh boy that would have been a dream start to the year.

Tom Pricewise Segal from the Racingpost has gone for:

1.50 Sandown - Brick Red 6/1
3.00 Sandown - Balgarry 8/1
3.55 Sandown - Unioniste 5/1

Here goes nothing.....

Newcastle 12.30 - No Deal 14/1 if fit wins this. Looked decent before injury.

Sandown 12.40 - I reckon Glens Melody would beat Irving with 15lbs in hand and therefore on form and at the weights Mischievous Milly 11/4 wins although does not have the fitness edge which might be a worry

Newcastle 1.05 - Oscar O'scar 9/1 down in trip with first time cheek pieces would have won him the race on 15/11 so hopefully can do it today. Was all over the place last race but if headgear does trick will go very close.

Sandown 1.15 - Golanova 9/1 keeps finding one too good. If Madness Light manages to complete might be the one to scupper again but big chance despite step up in grade

Wincanton 1.30 - Head Spin 11/4 won so well two races ago just think last race may have been too soon. If so, is still well ahead of mark

Newcastle 1.40 - Beauboreen 6/1 ran very well over 3m in heavy conditions over hurdles off 128. So, off 122, with Maguire booked, with trainer bang in form and banking on headgear helping jumping fluency is worth a pop.

Newcastle 2.15 - Island Confusion 5/1 looks very very very well handicapped based on Kingfishers Creek. On the face of it is potentially over a stone well in.

Sandown 2.25 - L'ami Serge 1/2 should be free money but not lumping

Wincanton 2.40 - Earthmoves 4/1 looks on a decent mark based Assam Black winning a C4 handicap off 112 when 9 lenghts behind Eartmoves who can win this off 122

Sandown 3.00 - Amore Alato 4/1 has solid course form and takes step down in class. Has to go close

Wincanton 3.15 - Black River 7/4 has finally got into the swing of things. Remember he beat Vatour by 7lenghts back in the day

Sandown 3.35 - I can see why Segal has gone for Unioniste 5/1. Relax is clearly interesting too, but I want to hit another long shot and Vino Griego 20/1 could easily bounce back at a course he loves.
