Southwell 12.35 - Autumn Tonic 7/1 e/w RPR s OR and way was finishing over C&D says good chance

Meydan 3.05 - Shamaal Nibras doesn't look like will stay and on high mark, not sure why is fave. Desert God won the Indian St Leger by 7 lengths. How good is that race? Suspect is chucked in off a mark of a 100. Not sure, so will pass over. ZAin Eagle stays. Carbon Dating ran in the Derby, and walked the last race. Huge possibility that potential has now been unlocked but this is a big step up  in class and got put up 8lbs. I like Rio Tigre. Solid runs here in Group races, but best races over further. Good Trip looks a dirt horse. Tempus T is an ex Gosden horse but dont think is any good. Zambucca shouldn't be shorter price than Zamaan. If Emirates Flyer stays could be chucked in. Was running behind of Kingsman and looks a better turf horse. First run in over a year and 4/1 so big short to take. Golden Wood has a good chance here as runs best over this distance on good ground and Soumillion is up. I just can't work out from french from if is well handicapped. Zamaan 14/1 e/w gets the tentative vote with Desert God 6/1 e/w next. Decent carnival form and the race that takes the eye is better graded handicap on 4th Feb half lenght behind Think Ahead. Was flying home off a strong pace which will get today, off 2lb lower. The step up in in favour looking at older French form.


Meydan 3.40 - Only focussing on the CD winners. Saltarin Dubai is going to blaze a trail here. Interesting G1 Argentian Runner could well be the answer, but no form at Dubai so will pass. The pace is an important factor today though. Trinity Force on paper will get very close to making up the 7 lenghts on Storm Belt at the weights and is good ew value at 20/1 but think are others with better chance. Storm Belt has a favourites chance but was allowed to dictate the pace and won't today. Jeeran very tempting as both Storm Belt and he were 14 lenghts behind Special Fighter so at the weights Jeeran is far better value. I really like Hunting Grounds chances as well. Jeeran 14/1 e/w, Hunting Ground 8/1 e/w

Meydan 4.15 - Ertijaal 6/4 should be far too good

Meydan 4.50 - How Polar River lost the Derby last year will never know. Worries me how poor last run was. Fitzgerald looks a danger but last race didn't look great. I'm going to punt on one of my Achilles heels; Emotionless 7/2. A dirt bred horse a ripped new holes in 110 rated horses. I backed in last race very confident. The market also spoke that day but didnt delivery. Not worried about draw and Appelby's horses were flying in Auz last year. Fingers crossed we'll see a machine today

Meydan 5.25 - Ertijaal 11/4 is one of those frustrating nearly horses. But this is a big step down in class ans should take all the beating. Silent Attack worries me.

Meydan 6.00 - American Hope 3/1 has a big chance. This is a trappy race so outsider for me is Shaishee 33/1 e./w. Solid mark based on previous CR run in a G2.

Ascot 1.25 - Order of St George Evs wins on paper. BUT, the Arc was only 2 weeks ago so more for the accumulator pot I reckon. Logic then rules out Quest for More. A whole bunch come here with poor run last time out. Litigant won the Ebor fresh but last year in this race no good. Sheikzayedroad finally won for me last time out but needed beyond 2m. Simple Verse solid place chances here if not the win, but I backed Forgotten Rules 9/1 e/w last year and am going in again. The ground will be slightly tacky today. FR cruised into race last year and got absolutely merked. Only 2nd race of the season, will be fresh boy.

Ascot 2.00 - Top rated Meccas Angel is not a 6f horse. DonJaun held by Signs of Blessing. SOB & Tin Man held by Twinligt Son. Everything 110 under all held on various form. Brando needs to prove at G1 level as does Librisa Breeze. LB however does look very good but I'm confused by stepping down in trip so goes off the list. I suspect Shalaa to bounce a bit after long lay off. Twinlight Son 13/2 e/w had a shocker last race even if ground was too quick., but 13/2 e/w is tasty. Quiet Reflection 9/2 e/w is too big to ignore. Yard coughing supposedly but has the best form by far. I nearly opted for Signs of a Blessing. Hope don't regret.


Ascot 2.35 - This has got AOB merkage all over it. Even Song the Ribblesdale winner 22/1. Pretty Perfect just beat by the Leger winner 20/1, then the dual Oaks winner 7th heaven 7/4. Is this another 1-2-3 AOB job? On the basis that Zhukova beat Pretty Perfect by 7lenghts when giving a stone away, beat the Derby runner by when giving 6lb away and unbeaten in last 4 Zhukova 5/1 e/w gets my vote and Seventh Heaven 7/4 into the acca. Journey 8/1 was next on list. Hope don't regret :)

Ascot 3.10 - Ribchester comes here in solid form, but held by Galieo Gold on best. Minding is stepping back in trip? Jet Setting ran too badly in Coronation on this track. I'm going slightly off track and going back to the Irish 2k. Atwadd 12/1 e/w destroyed GG. Looked back to superb best last race


Ascot 3.45 - Fascinating Rock 8/1 e/w. Won this last year and on all known form holds Found and therefore Almanzor. Jack Hobbs was favourite for this race last year and 16/1 is insulting. As is the price for US Army Ranger 16/1 but I'm locked into a big festival for Weld this year

Ascot 4.25 - Only 2 in this for me. Firmament 8/1 e/w solid form behind Librisa Breeze and Third Time Lucky 10/1 e/w. The latter is actually much better off at weights now than Firmament so probably the better chance. TTL was drawn badly in the Cambridshire. Not today. Plum draw

Newmarket 2.05 - Double Lady 5/2. Fabre is pretty much 50/50 at the track. i.e. doesn't send them for no reason.

Newmarket 2.40 - On paper Cougar Mountain looks solid, but this is tough, At the weights Lumieri wins and CM not won at 7f which gives Gifted Master a solid chance.HMMMMM

Newmarket 3.10 - Hard not to back a 10 lenght winner over C&D in Sobetesu 2/1
