Bets 08/08/2020 - ~The P&L Tracker is back

I've spent a whack of time trying to get back to the form that got be banned. I haven't fully got there but I have assessed which races I excel in. I had a decent Goodwood so the selective punting worked well enough for me...

1.15 Ascot - Ataser 6/1 £10 ew

I've never heard of T J Kent, but the nag ran pretty well in both races and looks an improver on a decent starting mark.

1.50 Ascot - Highland Dress 11/2 £10 ew

Chil Chil could be anything and given Balding form may well bolt up. However Highland Dress arguably has the best Ascot handicap on show for the season. At Newmarket had to burn early speed and lost shoe last race so can be forgiven. Woven is potentially a big ew too.

2.05 Haydock - Final Song 7/1 £10 ew

Comvinced 7f decent ground it the optimum trip. Decent enough run in the guineas over a trip too far and we know how good Love is. Will give excuses for soft ground and a tough race for a 3yr old at Haydock last time out, but did look a tad unlucky. Back down in grade must have an ew shout.

2,25 Ascot - Shelir £20 10/3

Have been tracking this for a while. Was hoping for a ew price. It's pretty short but fook it. Ran well in the Buckingham from bad draw and again last time out from a poor draw and was slightly hampered.

3.00 Ascot - Red Force One £10 13/2 ew

Get 2m over hurdles so flat wont be an issue. Is probably a 135 horse over hurdles so running of 87 on the flat is decent. Gets another 3lb claim so solid ew

3.35 Ascot - Look Closely £10 9/2 ew

I toyed with Jermiah a lot but in the end went for the 4 year old improver who bagged me a decent 11/1 last time out. C&D winner eased down last time when carrying 9/12

3.50 Haydock - Arablet 13/2 £10 ew

Breathe of Air looked decent when beat Blue Mist but can't explain next two flops. Arablet is down is grade after a decent run from bad draw and fluffed start at Ascot. Reckon the handicapper has seen something as not dropped it many pounds.

£2.50 ew seven fold Total £5

50p five folds and six folds Total £14

Ataser, Red Force One, Arablet £2.50 ew trxie Total £20

Bets 01/08/2020 - Glorious Goodwood Day 5

1.50 - Tommy G 4/1 ew

Loves this race. Prompting form shown today. SBS booked. Plum draw.

3.35 - Kimifive 12/1 ew, Mermaas 13/2 ew + rfc

Been tracking Kimi for a while and was hoping to see it well drawn in this race. It is and also with a decent claim, but Mermaas is surely a pattern horse in a handicap?

4.10 - Cold Front 11/2 ew

Looks well handicapped.

Bets 30/07/2020 - Glorious Goodwood Day 3

1.10 - Show Me Show Me 10/1 ew, saver on Flippa Stripper 16/1ew and rfc :)

Show Me Show Me ran a blinder behind Liberty Beach over C&D in the Molecolmb last year. Always seems to fluff start and likes to come from behind and given drawn 1 that could be an issue. That said pieces on today and if gets the breaks could come flying home. I think Caspian Queen would beat Electirc Lady and and Spanish Angel in a rerun given was hampered start and was then flying home. Moore has been booked so must fancy it. I just don't know if the formline is strong enough? Then there's Flippa the Stripper. Ran over C&D in the conditions race same day as Show Me Show Me. The races times were similar and also flopped the start and came home strongly.

Show Me Show Me and Flippa The Stripper neck and neck here :)

Show Me Show Me in first time pieces to fly home given the Liberty Beach form was better. Hills says Stripper needs 6f. If he wrong I be angry :)

1.45 - Zabeel Champion 11/2 ew

2.15 - Yazaman 9/4

3.15 - Magic Wand 11/2 ew

3.45 - Mark of the Man 12/1 ew

4.55 - Winter Power 4/5

Bets 29/07/2020 - Glorious Goodwood Day 2

Goodwood 1.10 - Chamade 10/1ew

If every horse ran to form at York then Lake Lucerne is absolutley chucked in here, but I have doubts about a couple of them and York is also a tricky marker.

Chamade's form could not have worked out better and not just with Franconia winning listed race but horse around also doing well in pattern class.

I'm posting this before get a chance to see how Be more form works out so a risk.

Goodwood 1.45 - Rochester House 10/1 ew

Watching the Ascot Stakes back the horse to take out of it was Rochester House who came from way too far back to rapidly close on the leaders. Given it's an MJ nag hopefully can't be too far off.

Goodwood 3.15 - Vatican City 14/1 ew

If you watch the Irish 2k back Siskin and Vatican CIty were both has awful passages. Siskin got out before Vatican but when Vatican got out it picked up very well and I can't believe is 14/1 vs Siskins 9/4. Madness. Or maybe I am. However the real problem is we have the Queen Anne winner, the Summer Mile winner, the UK and Irish 2k winners here and I can't work out which form line is the best. Given Lope Y nearly won the Jean Prat hoping the Irish 2k form is solid and therefore Vatican City is the value.

Goodwood 4.20 - Asdaa 20/1 ew

On my tracker since Jack's Point won at Ascot. Would have won the race at Doncaster if over 7f and last time wouldn't settle and was too far wide. Time to win! Please :)

Bets 28/07/2020 - Glorious Goodwood Day 1

A lot of bad luck occurs at Goodwood. Remember last year about 12 or my 20 picks were hampered/blocked in etc. Fuming :) Let's see if can beat 12 this year :)

1.10 Goodwood - Vividly 9/1 ew

Course winner. Ran in decent handicap last time out when back from a break and Buick wins a lot round here. I'd ignore Oh So Sharp stakes as lost a shoe.

Separatle looks a huge danger at 16s, but trying to stick to 1 ng per race given how much carnage occurs at Goodwood.

1.45 Goodwood - Tinandali 13/2 ew

Cape Cavalli is obviously well handicapped and Crisford has sent out 4 winners from last 4 runners. He is a C&D winner and Look Closely proved at weekend form is decent enough. I have Maydanny down as a winner waiting to happen but I have to avoid runners who've not proven the distance. Instead Tinandali was majorly hampered last time out before flying home.

2.15 Goodwood - Battleground 6/4 & 3.15 Goodwood - Stradivairus 8/13 Double

2.45 Goodwood - Duke of Hazard 6/1 ew

Can Sir Dancelot make it 3 in a row? Hmm. Duke of Hazzard is unbeaten at Goodwood and trainer is very bullish. D'bai may have got closer to winning this last year with a better run but always looks a bit keen to me and Space Blues on form should beat it. Interesting Space Blues skipped Ascot for this race and Safe Voyage looks a threat too. Tough one to call.

3.45 Goodwood - Celsius 3/1

Going to be some serious pace in this race and maybe could be set up for a horse who sits just behind the pace? I really didnt want to back the favourite in this, but given a C&D winner, on the upgrade who will come from behind must have a decent chance. I think I would have gone with Ornate otherwise.

4.55 Goodwood - Tulip Fields 9/2 ew

Course winner who romped it's last handicap over 1m4f.

6.45 Galway  - Colfer Me 40/1 ew

Given was second in Irish Licoln ahead of some of these, price makes no sense. Lost 5 /6 lenghts at start of last race so add that on and again would have finished ahead of many of these. Condon hitting winners and Lee one of the better jockeys aroudn Galway.

Bets 25/07/2020

Ascot 1.50 - How do you handle the Coventry form when a 150/1 shot won it and 2nd place got caked next time out. Probably ignore it? I don't think we often see Hannon winners first time out, and given Dobbs was saying one of the best two year olds in the yard Chindit got to be worth a bet

Chindit 8/1 ew
---

Ascot 2.25 - I'd defo back Shelir if it weren't for the draw here. Instead I'm backing Mutamaasik. I'm convinced would have won the Buckingham if was better drawn and I was really keen on it last time out. Instead the horse I thought it would turn the tables on won, so I know the form stands solid but just can't work out why was a total flop last time out especially as was a C&D winner. I have to assume is nothing wrong with the horse and it's lining up to try and win and if it does then it should go bloody close based on formlines.

Mutamaasik 8/1 ew
---

Ascot 4.10 - Western Duke won this last year off 1lb higher. No reason why couldn;'t reproduce that form to win. Tom Marquand has been booked so hoping Williams fancies it too. I do worry that Look Closely is well handicapped and bounces back but have to trust has trained or assume just doesn't like the track at Newmarket

Western Duke 14/1 ew

Small saver on Look Closely 11/1ew
---

York 3.15 - Solid enough C&D winner last time.

Orbaan 5/1 ew

----

Doncaster 6.30 - Star Prize 6/1 ew
