2.00 Ascot - Corinthia Knight 8/11 - 3pts win. Looks very smart. Not necessarily beaten much, but suspect will be heading to the big 2yr old Royal Ascot meetings.
2.35 Ascot - Icespire comes with lots of hype, but Blending has been fav for last 3 races including for a G2 race, so is also well thought of. I suspect Inspire wins this, but no major entries for this, so at the prices rather go for Blending 7/1 1pt e/w
3.10 Ascot - Harbour Law has a penalty, and still can't believe won the St Leger! I just don't fancy this horse though, not sure why. Nearly Caught, trainer worries about ground. Pallastor I really like, but not the price as want an ew on him as not won over C&D despite many tries. Don't know if Battersea stays. M Queen trainer in dire form. This leaves my pick and hopefully is a Sweet Selection 11/1 2pts e/w. Loves GF, improving, stays, gets a filly allowance and I think is 4/5 lbs higher than BHA have given her. Big e/w chance I hope. I pray. Annoyingly only 2places now VDF is a NR. Betfair Exchange E/w still paying 3 places. Result.
3.45 Ascot - There is a lot of hype about Harry Angel. Yes I'm sure is decent, but on paper looks tough ask to beat Blue Point 6/4 4pts win. Harry has a 4lb penalty and is rated 6lbs less than Blue Point so needs to perform 10lbs better today! Blue Point has SOLID form with Memhas (115OR), Thunder Snow (115OR), Churchill, etc.
