When the ground was GF I cleaned up in the early part of the season. Maybe why I nail Meydan too. Just seem to be very inconsistent when the ground is a mess like it is again today....
Goodwood 1.50 - Goldsborough 33/1ew. Course winner on heavy ground over shorter. Looked beat 3f out that day but really stayed on. Think 10f will be fine. That last race was a mess so will forgive. There are loads of unexposed horses but the one's I like have no course from or distance form so too much of a gamble.
Goodwood 2.25 - Bobsleigh 17/2ew. Eve's horses back in good form. The Coventry form is god enough for me given the winners coming out of it. The ground a concern but Elzaam ran fine on soft so be disappointed if didn't make top3.
Goodwood 3.00 - Artistic Star 13/2ew . Im sure Espoionage has been laid out for a race which AOB has won 3 times from 6 horses and that typically his horses come on from the first run of season, but I don't think won that comfortably lto. Chesspiece ran average on soft in the Darley and I'm not convinced improved lto. Crisford is in decent form though. I think Artistic Star still improving. I think the KE form is decent and AS got closer to King of Steel lto than in the Derby so hoping more to come
Goodwood 3.35 - Above The Curve 12/1ew - Should have beaten Nashwa in the Prix D'Opera on very soft ground. Will be very soft today, so has a chance to tray at 4x times the odds of Nashwa. I think something has to go wrong with Blue Rose Cen for Above The Curve to win, but you never know.
Goodwood 4.10 - Dodies Impact 25/1ew - Loved the ground in the Brocklesby and assuming now settled into the Cox yard can potentially refind form. If Channon's form was decent I'd be all over Grays Inn, but at 2/1 it's hard to do given a bunch of unexposed 2 year olds. Balon D'or 25/1ew might be interesting off top weight
Goodwood 4.45 - Alpha Cruis 14/1ew
Goodwood 5.20 - Ornellia 3/1 - Form is solid. Pedigree is decent for heavy ground
Goodwood 5.55 - Ran out of time. Looking at draw and pedigree got to Another Baar, Lakot Blue, The Thames Boatman all 20's + but no more time :(
