8.20am update...I’ve just relived the Frankel moment. Superlatives no longer
do him justice. I would love to see him in the Arc. Unlikely, but really,
nothing can stop him. He is sheer class; in his own league.
York 2.00 – Annunciation 10/1. Blessington is interesting at
6/1
York 2.30 – Newfangled Evs. Gosden/Buick Double? My
selection for a classic next year so will stick with it
York 3.05 – Navajo Chief 16/1 – won this last year and now a
lower mark with a top notch claimer. Danadana franks form as well. Based on
Listed race over C&D Prince of Johanne 16/1 is also appealing. Anderiego
8/1 with 2 easy wins over C&D, goes up 6lb, but strong shout.
York 3.40 – The Fugue 7/4. Gosden/Buick Treble? Looked
seriously classy last time out.
York 4.15 – Sequence 7/4. Do it for the Queen
York 4.50 – Riot of Colour 13/2 is one I’ve followed for a
while, whilst Night Lily 16/1 is one I keep on side too
