Bets 23/06/2023 - Royal Ascot Day 4

 Day 3 = Bang!

If His Majesty broke levels and was drawn better, convinced would have won. Warm Heart was a ridiculous price and rightly won. Docklands was absolutely chucked in and duly obliged, and Waipro rounded off an solid day. From £800 down to £1.5k up for the week. Will lay £750 tomorrow and £750 on Saturday so any wins are now upside for the festival

Win - Warm Heart 16/1, Docklands 10/1, Waipro 11/1

Placed - His Majesty 11/1, Bertilinni 7/1, Royal Cape 20/1, Subjectivist 9/1, Emily Dickinson 10/1, Spangled Mac 25/1

Unplaced - Davideo 11/1, Surely Not 12/1, Lir Special 14/1, The Gatekeeper 85/1, Tylos 100/1, Drumroll 6/1

Was great dodgin Al Asifah and Elite Status yesterday. Not sure can dodge the faves today so an acca to cover it but I'm alwys looking to take them on ;)

LLB, Tahriya, King of Steel 6/1 Treble

2.30 Ascot:

Martika 10/1ew - The market always underestimates the improvement AOB juveniles make. Half sister to the Wow Signal.

Carlas Way 5/1 - Massive debut. Will go close, but I'm only playing a cover stake and very small RFC

Navassa Island ran the best debut of everyone looking at the numbers, but will leave as-is

3.05 Ascot:

If/when LLB wins I'm taking home over £500 in Antepost bets/accas.

The only horse that might pull a shock is Shaquille 12/1ew. Looks to be the only one with potential improvement left. Thumped a good bunch of horse including Noble Style by 3 lengths lto. Certain if was trained by a top trainer would be a 5/1 shot. Still has a tough task to beat LLB. Shouldhavebeanhearing interesting based on last run behind LLB.

3.40 Ascot:

Maskud 7/1ew - a 4 yr old drawn high fits first trends. Ran in the Hampton Court last year and on this form alone is well handicapped.

I backed Teumessias Fox at 50s last year as saw the potential. Collected big on it's last run. Will go close today, I just think the draw may be tricky if does not get to the front. HMS President is interesting, but stick with one as already quite sort for a big handicap.

4.20 Ascot:

Hmm. Do you really want to take on the fav.

I have Queen For You 16/1 Antepost and was fuming when bet at York. Really should have won that race.

Tahiyra is so short couldn't back it, and I'm not convince will necessarily like the GF.

Mediate 5/1ew - Will love the GF. Won the Breeders on Firm. I think worth taking a chance on.

5.00 Ascot:

Jackie Oh 7/1ew - I backed her for the Oaks but never ran. Think has some class in her on pedigree. Am a bit worried about the trip but this will be inevitably run at a serious pace that will hopefully help

Unless 28/1ew - I reckon has half a stone in hand. I can't find anything else with this much in hand on paper

 5.35 Ascot:

Continuous 17/2ew - I backed this for the Jockey Club and can't explain it but I thought ran a cracker in the Dante for first run back. For some reason have it backed AP for the the Eclispe. hmm. I think King of Steel ran a cracker lto but I want to think/hope it circumstantial.

6.10 Ascot:

Hispanic 16/1ew - This is a 100+ rated horse and the fact it's the only one entered in a G1 - G3 race says that too. 5f looks right. No Nay Never pedigree who won the Nofolk over C&D

6.55 Goodwood - Swift Asset 12/ew

7.05 Newmarket - Golspie 16/1ew
