Bets 22/06/2023 - Royal Ascot Day 3

Day 1 = Disaster. Day 2 = Bang, Crossbar, Flop. Day 3 = Uneasy

Crimson Advocate was beautiful. Managed to get 20s on the exchange.

Farrh To Shy had to check left so many times and then Queally took foot off pedal before the line screwing a couple of ew accas. Grand Dam and Queen no good. Alabama was done by the draw but at least placed. I can only imagine how well Jimi Hendrix was handicapped for it to win up that rail!

2.30 Ascot:

They all have to beat Elite Status but 13/8 not my kind of bet...I also have it in an Antepost bet at 2/1 so can't bet it again. The two horses in behind him last time out have been walloped. American Rascal and No Nay Mets could both be decent. I hope the latter gives a perfect toes into the race for the horse drawn next to it in His Majesty.

His Majesty 11/1ew - Form with Givemethebeatboys. Draw is good. 5f is a slight doubt but it's AOB whose is in decent form

3.05 Ascot:

Burglar is ahead of mark but has to show can stay, as is Davideo, Sisyphus Strenght and Cloudbreaker. Perfuse and Inquiring Minds both look ahead of mark but not sure the latter could turn the tables.

Davideo 11/1ew - Watching videos of them all gone with Davideo. Galloped away the further is went skipping off the ground.

Bertilinni 7/1ew - Small play given AoB form and record in the race

3.40 Ascot:

Al Asifah will be difficult to beat....

Warm Heart 16/ew - Not sure why is nearly triple the price of Bluestocking.

4.20 Ascot:

Coltrane will land me a decent enough Antepost double so even though most likely winner not backing today.

Subjectivist 9/1ew - Ran to pretty much the same level in the Dubai Gold Cup as did in '21 and if runs to anything close to when bolted up in this race will give Coltrane a problem.

Emily Dickinson 10/1ew - Adding this 13.22pm

At this point time to hit Elite Status, Al Asifah, Coltrane (Top2) Treble 9/1

5.00 Ascot:

Docklands 10/1ew - Bolted up last time at Ascot, and surely still lbs in hand

Surely Not 12/1ew - Decent formline

Royal Cape 20/1ew - I backed this few days back. Looks chucked in (forgot I backed it)

Good Karma, Quatum Impact, Racingbreaks Ryder all on the list, but finding it tough to nail colours to anymore

5.35 Ascot:

Drumroll 6/1

Waipro 11/1

6.10 Ascot:

Nothing in the field meets any of my usual handicap trends/pointers, so not much hope, but some funky prices on the exchanges ;)

Lir Special 14/1ew - Varian decent record in race

Spangled Mac 25/1ew  Solid Meydan handicap form

The Gatekeeper 85/1ew - Long time off after poor run in the Coventry, but on the mend and can hopefully improve again.

Tylos 100/1ew - I'm certain hates Ascot and looks like excels on heavy, but beating Gorak like that means could be massively chucked in?

Hit an AoB ew acca of sorts? Foolish? Let's see? His Majesty, Bertinelli, Warm Heart, Emily Dickinson, Carracci, Drumroll

Dettori also has some very interesting rides today..... All his rides around 6s and 7s.....
