Bets 04/04/2012

Useless calls made yesterday. Didn’t call anything right and Saga only just won! I’m going to lower my stakes for a few days as we transition to the Flat season. There are a lot of strange results being churned out and I’m not on the right side of it. There are a few fancies I have on the flat, but I'm going to leave be today.

Exeter 2.50 – Hobbs runs Ardkilly Rebel who did okay over hurdles before disappointing efforts chasing. 5/1 probably isn’t value but a few of these might struggle with the quick ground. Leopard Hills on the other hand could outrun 14/1.

Exeter 3.50 – Another Hobbs horse who looks worthy favourite; Magic Marmalade. Sea Saffron won very well here over C&D but didn’t really beat anything and Gulf Punch looks a tad high in the weights.

Exeter 4.20 – Dukes Art has run way behind Darlan, Ile De Re and Grumeti; top performers this year. Colin O’Farrell left it way too late last time out and will have learnt from that. If anything else wins, then meh

Exeter 4.50 – Is it daft to smash into Hobbs? Millie O’Brien

Hereford 3.40 – Am I Blue is not in great form but I’ve seen a lot of horses bounce back when they return to favoured tracks. This will hopefully be no exception. Bounce Back! Please.

Hereford 5.10 – One more Hobbs horse. Myazedi.
